Kabardinka: attractions and entertainment. Kabardinka attractions

Kabardinka is a small resort village ten kilometers from Gelendzhik towards Novorossiysk. Since the distances are small, we can say that Novorossiysk also belongs to Kabardinka. The village itself is very resort-like. It is located in a bay, the coast from the mainland in this place is fenced off by small mountains. In Kabardinka, the depth of the sea increases very smoothly, there are no big waves, so it’s good to relax here with children. In Soviet times, there were many pioneer camps in Kabardinka. But I would prefer.

Battery Zubkov

During the Great Patriotic War, the front line approached Kabardinka at a distance of only 20 kilometers. Not far from the village, on Cape Penay, a fortified artillery battery with naval guns was built, which protected the waters of Tsemes Bay to prevent the enemy from landing in the port of Novorossiysk. Captain Zubkov’s battery was fired upon almost continuously for a whole year, several tens of thousands of soldiers died on it, but the Germans were unable to capture or destroy the fortifications. Now in place of the battery you can see guns, pillboxes and bunkers, a rangefinder post, and a command post. In 1951, in the place where the battery under the command of Captain Zubkov was located, a monument in the form of a sculpture of a sailor was erected in memory of the victims.

Entrance 50 rubles. Across the road are abandoned free pillboxes.

Three sisters

From Kabardinka you can take an interesting walk to a mountain range that stands apart from the sea, has 3 peaks and is called “Three Sisters”. All peaks of the mountain offer excellent views of the coast and sea line.

Embankment

Like Gelendzhik and Sochi, Kabardinka also has its own embankment. Perhaps it is not as big and busy as in large resort towns, but it is still a very good place for walking. In the center the embankment is wider than at the edges; in this place there are many tents and pavilions with attractions, snack bars and souvenirs. There are also flower beds, a fountain where tourists love to take pictures, many cafes and canteens with music in the evenings. Next there is a bridge over the Doob River, a little to the side of the embankment there is an amusement park and a dolphinarium.

Amusement park Luna Park

On the central embankment of Kabardinka, right behind the bridge, the LunaPark Amusement Park opened with the usual attractions for such places for children and adults. These include trampolines, carousels, the inevitable spinning wheel, various cafes, trays with ice cream and cotton candy. In general, a standard set of entertainment in a resort town, just the thing to while away the evening at sea.

Glass workshop

The glass workshop with an exhibition hall and a store is located on Mira Street, next to the Pearl of the Sea sanatorium, just a few steps from the embankment. The building is small. In one part there is a shop with souvenirs and various glass objects, in the other there is an exhibition hall, the entrance there is paid, you can take a tour. Here, original works of local craftsmen are exhibited and you can watch a glass blower at work, take a master class (for a fee) and make a glass souvenir as a keepsake. It will be interesting and useful for children to learn about a new profession for them. The guide talks about glass working techniques and the history of this craft.

Uzelok Rope Park

Recently, rope parks have become increasingly fashionable entertainment for both children and adults. Small highways are opening in all more or less large cities throughout Russia. Kabardian was no exception. A local rope park is open on the territory of the Pearl of the Sea sanatorium. Children especially like to overcome obstacles in the form of hanging bridges and rope climbs above the ground, so this park will add pleasant variety to their beach holiday.

Monument to those killed on the Admiral Nakhimov

At Cape Doob, next to the lighthouse, there is a monument to the passengers and crew of the motor ship "Admiral Nakhimov", which sank in Tsemes Bay. This happened on the night of August 31 to September 1, 1986; the ship, at the exit from Tsemes Bay, collided with the dry cargo ship "Peter Vasev", which was entering the port. “Admiral Nakhimov” was the largest passenger ship of the Black Sea Fleet; more than 1,200 people died in its crash. The names of the victims are carved on the monument and the ship’s onboard clock, which was raised from the bottom of the sea, is installed. They show the time when the tragedy occurred - 23:20. The monument stands on a high bank, offering a good view of the sea.

Oceanarium and exotarium

The oceanarium is small in area, with many illuminated aquariums. It will be interesting for children and those who decide to visit such a place for the first time. Others may find it a little boring. If you wish, you can book an excursion or look at a variety of fish on your own. Next to the oceanarium there is an exotarium, which contains reptiles and amphibians exotic for Russia: spiders, snakes, etc. The advantage of the oceanarium is its location - in the center of Kabardinka. It’s nice to come here on a hot day, there are air conditioners inside, and the room is semi-dark. Not a bad place to diversify your family beach holiday.

Ticket price: 300 rubles

Kastalskaya kupel is a good restaurant on the outskirts of Kabardinka, with a trout farm and a large green area. There are gazebos around the fish pond, bridges, flower beds and other landscaping, as well as several aviaries with birds. This is a beautiful place for photo shoots and walks, where you can also go fishing. The chef will immediately cook the caught trout or other fish and serve it to the table. In addition to the gazebos around the pond, there is also a large restaurant building with a banquet hall. In the restaurant you can order shish kebab, charcoal trout, and salmon. Children will be interested in looking at birds: pheasants, peacocks, chickens, pigeons. That is, this place is suitable both as a restaurant and just for a family vacation. The place is very nice: there are juniper thickets around, benches, a small water mill, sturgeons in the pond. The restaurant itself is quite expensive, but the food is delicious. Not far from the restaurant there is an observation deck with a good view of Kabardinka.

The Dolphinarium is located in the city center, next to the central beach and the Pearl of the Sea sanatorium and is popular among vacationers. What to see and where to go in Kabardinka?

The most interesting and beautiful places for walks. Photos and brief description.

The park was created by a local resident of Kabardinka, A. Alekseev, on his own. The city authorities, seeing his enthusiasm, allocated him an additional plot of land for planting. Although the size of the park is small, there is a lot to see inside - a Greek temple, an Egyptian pyramid, a medieval castle, sculptures, fountains and manicured lawns with tropical vegetation - all this was created thanks to the idea of one person.

The embankment stretches along the main beach of the resort village. The promenade is paved with tiles, decorated with balustrades, bright flower beds, sculptural groups and light illumination. In summer, many people walk here, as this place is the center of life of a small resort. Along the embankment there are restaurants, cafes and small kiosks with souvenirs.

The Kastal font is the name given to the lake and the adjacent landscaped area, which are located at the exit from Kabardinka. The reservoir is home to sturgeon and trout; on the banks, among flower beds and trees, there are cozy gazebos where you can sit in company. The area is arranged in the best traditions of landscape design - sculptures, fountains, grottoes, bridges and stairs are located everywhere.

The Dolphinarium is located on the central beach. Compared to other similar establishments at other resorts, it is quite small, but the performances here are no less spectacular than in large complexes. Experienced trainers help the main characters of the scene, the Black Sea bottlenose dolphins, who try to surprise and delight the audience. After the show you can take a photo with them.

Collections of marine life and exotic animals located in one complex (a single entrance ticket applies to visiting it). The aquarium presents inhabitants of freshwater rivers of Russia, tropical seas and water bodies of temperate climates, coral reefs and coasts, and the exotarium features more than 40 species of amphibians and mammals collected from different places on the planet.

A private workshop-museum where visitors can view collections of colored glass products made using various techniques, as well as take part in a master class and create their own masterpiece. The tour is conducted by a guide who will tell you about the history of the craft, secret techniques and unique exhibits. The museum hosts five permanent exhibitions: Space Fantasy, Fairytale Castle, Elbrus, Butterflies, Murano Glass.

One of the most interesting museums in Kabardinka, located in the open air in the park. The collection is dedicated to the history, crafts and life of the Cossacks. Here you can look at the houses of the inhabitants of Kuban - huts with reed roofs and farmsteads where stables and outbuildings are located, as well as traditional tools, household items, weapons, military uniforms, clothing, furniture.

The house is located the other way around - the roof is at the bottom, and the floor with furniture nailed to it is at the top. Such excursion sites are of interest to tourists; it is not for nothing that they are found in many cities around the world and in Russia. You can take original photographs against the backdrop of the inverted interior, which is what visitors do. The only correctly located element is the entrance staircase leading to the second floor.

The passenger ship "Admiral Nakhimov" crashed in Tsemes Bay in 1986 as a result of a collision with the "Peter Vasev". More than 400 people died. A year later, a monument was erected in memory of the tragedy at Cape Doob. The memorial is a composition of metal pipes of different heights, installed in the center of a concrete circle. The monument contains a ship's clock, raised from the bottom of the sea, which shows the time of the disaster - 23:20.

An authentic monument to the period of the Great Patriotic War, which is a group of artillery pieces and reinforced concrete fortifications located in the open air. Thanks to this battery and its riflemen, German troops were never able to advance into Tsemes Bay and enter Gelendzhik. The fortification was erected in 1941 and, as history shows, it coped with its task brilliantly.

Kabardinka is one of our favorite places in Greater Gelendzhik. But we don’t go there for a beach holiday, but simply to take a walk and look at the sights of Kabardinka.

There are many of them here. And for every taste.

Let me remind you that Kabardinka is located just 15 kilometers from Gelendzhik, connected to it by a beautiful road. And if you are vacationing in Gelendzhik, Dzhankhot, Divnomorsk or Praskoveevka, then getting there is not a problem.

And also an ancient Roman aqueduct.

The Aqueduct is my favorite place in the Old Park

Everything is beautifully decorated, with subtle taste and philosophical overtones. An aesthete, a connoisseur of world cultures, an artist, and a simple traveler, whose heart is not alien to beauty, will like it here.

There is an art gallery and a souvenir shop here, where you can take home some nice local souvenirs as souvenirs.

The abundance of original magnets with the Old Park makes your eyes wide open...

I chose this one, with the same fountain

Its second name is the Upside Down House.

He really stands upside down, on his own roof. But these are not the consequences of a terrible hurricane, but just the imagination of an architect.

I'm at the Upside Down House in Kabardinka

Everything inside is also upside down: beds and tables are somewhere up there, and visitors walk... on the ceiling. Having previously taken off your shoes. Well, who walks on the ceiling in shoes?

In the nursery, children walk upside down :)

And in the bedroom a child is crawling on the ceiling

I don’t know about anyone, but I was most impressed by the toilet on the ceiling.

Dive... Of course, it's just a joke...

And what a stunning photo shoot can happen in the kitchen!

I look into the saucepan

How to find the Upside Down House in Kabardinka: it stands near the intersection of Mira and Revolution streets, behind the square with the eternal flame. You can park at the bus stop (not at the bus stop, of course, but in the parking lot). Address: Collective street, 81.

What is the price: ticket for adults – 200, children – 150 rubles. Children under 6 years old are allowed to tour this wonderful house for free.

This is just the most important thing to see in Kabardinka. But there is also City of masters with metal sculptures and Art glass gallery. But about them some other time.

In 2018, a new attraction of Kabardinka appeared - cargo ship "Rio" ran aground.

Hurry up to see it before it's removed.

Greetings, dear friends! It is very good to swim in the sea, relax, sunbathe with children on the beach. But such a vacation needs to be diversified, have a good walk around the city, the sea coast, go on excursions, which are offered in great abundance in Kabardinka, I will talk about some of them in this and subsequent articles.

In the previous article there are many photos of the village of beaches and embankment, seaside recreation in Kabardinka,.

From the first days of our vacation, we were interested in visiting Cape Doob, the word doob means “consent.” Three low mountain peaks with the poetic name “Three Sisters” - Faith, Hope, Love, covered with dense mixed forests, are located along the left coast of Tsemes Bay and lead to the extreme point of Cape Doob.

Along the embankment to Cape Doob

We walk along the embankment to the Blue Bay:

You can walk along Mira Street to its beginning, or you can take a small minibus; we walked. Here you can see a beautiful view of the entire coast of Kabardinka:

Cape Doob is washed by the waters of the Blue Bay; you can also sail here on any pleasure boat by sea. From here you can clearly see Novorossiysk and the ships in the roadstead.

At Cape Doob in 1987, a monument was erected to the victims of the disaster of the passenger ship "Admiral Nakhimov", which occurred on August 31, 1986; a clock was installed on the monument; it stopped at 11:20 am.

In a niche along the entire perimeter there are memorial plaques with the names of those killed in that disaster, wreaths and flowers:

Take a walk through the Old Park!

The most famous attraction of Kabardinka is the first and only one of its kind on the entire Black Sea coast, ““, where interesting monuments of architectural styles from different times are collected, surrounded by exotic tropical plants.

The park was created by a wonderful person - journalist, writer, architect and designer Alexander Alekseev.

The park is located not far from the embankment, if you walk down Mira Street and turn towards the boarding house “Pearl of the Sea”, there are signs everywhere, you can read more about the “Old Park” in the next article.

Not far from the “Old Park” there is a small memorial, a monument to the partisans who died during the Great Patriotic War. The monument stands surrounded by greenery, planted trees, and memorial wreaths have been laid.

During the Great Patriotic War, Kabardinka was on the front line. Inscription on the monument:

Their lives remained here in granite
In hearts and in songs and in deeds,
No wonder the border guard was the first
Stand up to defend our rights!

I met the fascist with a hot bullet,
Last breath, last groan
They gave it away in '43
Because we are living now.

The grass has long since withered
From loud explosions, from fire,
Their memory is rightly honored by the people,
Bowing my head in bow.

During the liberation of Novorossiysk, the village was almost completely destroyed. Then he recovered slowly and difficultly.

I suggest you take a walk through the modern, landscaped urban resort village of Kabardinka, photo of the village and the beach, attractions.

A famous place on the coast is the Kastalskaya font trout farm - a beautiful place for outdoor recreation with a lake and a lively area for children.

The lake is home to trout and sturgeon:

You can swim in the sea, sunbathe and go up to Revolutionary Street, on the other side of which, opposite the Lazurny boarding house, 300 meters from the road there is the Kastalskaya font. The path to it lies along the road through a small grove, then along stone steps we go down to the font located in the juniper grove.

There is a small lake with flowing mountain spring water, where trout and sturgeon swim, and above the water there is a fairy-tale castle - a house with turrets. There is an old ancient legend associated with this place.

The Legend of the Castalian Font

In ancient times, in distant Hellas, in the city of Xenaphos, there lived King Nereus, who had many daughters. They were all called Nereids because no one could remember their real names. Travelers were captivated by the beauty of the girls, not knowing that they could change their appearance. And the wanderers were often at a loss.

The youngest daughter, Lydia, was inconspicuous among her older sisters, and the young men did not notice her. Not finding her betrothed, at the age of 17 Lydia decided to leave with the skilled navigator Jason, who was equipping his ships to Colchis, to the shores of the Pontus Euxine - now the Black Sea. Having secretly entered the ship, every night the girl turned into the goddess Nereid and danced under the moon.

One night, one of Jason's warriors, Dmitry, came out on deck and saw a dancing girl. Captivated by her beauty, he fell in love with Lydia. The young man swore to keep her secret if she appeared before him in daylight. Lydia also fell in love with Dmitry, but was afraid that when he saw her during the day, he would be disappointed in her.

At that time, Jason's ship sailed past Batory Bay - now Tsemesskaya, and then Lydia turned into a Nereid and left the ship. She searched for shelter for a long time until she ended up in the Juniper Gap of the Markotsky Range.

Her amazement and joy knew no bounds when she saw a small lake and stream, similar to her favorite Kastalian places in Hellas. And she decided to stay here forever. It was truly a magical place! Every day Lydia swam in the lake and did not notice how she turned into a slender, blond, extraordinary beauty.

Meanwhile, Dmitry, having lost his beloved, left Jason’s ship to find her. A lot of time passed until he learned from the wanderer Boreas that a lonely girl of extraordinary beauty lived in the Juniper Gap. And Dmitry hurried to those parts.

On the way, he was seriously wounded by militant highlanders, but this did not stop the young man. Losing strength, he reached Lydia. The wounds were so severe that the girl could not save him.

In order not to be separated from her beloved, Lydia turned him into a goldfish in her lake, and she herself remained standing like a stone heron in it.

She turned her beloved into a goldfish in her lake...

King Nereus, having learned about what had happened, sailed to those parts. He turned into a mighty oak tree to spend the rest of his days with his youngest daughter, guarding the peace of Lydia and Dmitry.

This is such a beautiful and sad legend about the Castalian font...

In the grove you can hear the noise of trees, the chirping of birds, the quiet murmur of water. Here stands a mighty century-old oak tree, near which people make wishes and leave coins to make them come true.

There are a lot of fish in the lake, there is a fountain in the middle of the lake, and there is an openwork bridge. Next to the lake, a water wheel slowly spins from the falling water, there are cozy gazebos on the shore of the lake, everything is surrounded by the aroma of a juniper grove.

If you have time and money, you will be offered to go fishing for a fee. The caught fish will be prepared for you by professional “Castalian” chefs, famous in the Kuban. On the shore of the lake there is a restaurant with a wide veranda and views of the lake and surrounding nature:

Lilies bloom on the central island and lotuses bloom in the water. Lavender blooms on the islands of the lake, and many beautiful butterflies flutter.

On the territory of the Kastalskaya font there is a small living area for children. Peacocks, purebred pigeons, fluffy rabbits, and a family of partridges live in enclosures here.

Peacock family in a living corner:

If you go uphill a little - about 150 meters, you can find yourself at an observation deck, which offers a stunning view of the sea, Novorossiysk and Kabardinka:

You seem to be floating above it all, observing the surroundings from a bird's eye view. Here you can see Tsemes Bay and the ships entering it. On the other side of the bay - Novorossiysk:

That's all I wanted to tell you in this short article. Sights of Kabardinka with photo description Kabardinka Kastalskaya font .

Did you like the photos and the beautiful legend of love associated with the Castalian font?!

Tell your friends, and if the opportunity arises, visit this quiet green corner in Kabardinka, located before leaving the village towards Novorossiysk.

Dear readers! All the best to you, have a pleasant holiday and wonderful travels!

Basic moments

The tourist season in Kabardinka lasts from May to November, and all these months there is wonderful dry weather. The resort area is protected from strong northeastern winds by the spurs of the Markotkh ridge. In terms of the number of sunny days and the absence of fog, the resort village resembles the southern coast of the Crimean Peninsula.

The entertainment industry is developed in Kabardinka. There are restaurants, bars, nightclubs and discos here that will not let those looking for a fun and noisy company get bored. From the resort village, boat trips on high-speed boats and yachts along the Black Sea coast are popular. Several times a day, the large pleasure boat Orion leaves the central pier and takes interesting excursions. Those for whom this is not enough can easily get to Novorossiysk or Gelendzhik, where there is even more entertainment.

People come to Kabardinka not only for a beach holiday. Many people like to spend active holidays in these places, windsurfing, diving, and cycling or walking in the surrounding foothills. Some tourists prefer to explore the Black Sea coast during ATV or jeep tours.

Central beach of the resort village

Kabardinka lies on the shore of the spacious Tsemes Bay, and stone breakwaters separate the coast from the high sea waves. All beaches on this section of the Black Sea coast are only pebbly.

The central beach of the resort is public and free. It stretches along the sea for 150 m and has a width of up to 25 m. The beach area is very clean and is in no way inferior to the private beaches of sanatoriums, camps and boarding houses. It is always crowded here, and there are especially many people during the peak summer influx of tourists. At this time, professional doctors and rescuers are on duty on the shore every day.

Central beach of Kabardinka

On Kabardinka beach you can rent sun loungers and parasols, and there is also a large shady canopy under which you can hide in the heat of the day. Beach lovers can use the changing rooms, paid showers and toilets.

A pier adjoins the central beach from the north. Boats constantly depart from it for sea excursions or fishing. From the pier begins the beach area, which belongs to the boarding house "Pochtovik". On the opposite, southern side, the Kabardinka municipal beach borders the mouth of the Doob River, behind which the Metro beach area begins.

Families with children prefer to relax on the central beach. There is a special play area here, and nearby is LunaPark, which is very popular among the little guests of the resort village.

From the side of the residential area there is an embankment along the beach. This is a place where many cafes, snack bars, bars and restaurants are open in the summer. If tourists are hungry, here you can find everything you need - from light snacks to a set lunch. On the Kabardinka embankment there are souvenir shops, a pharmacy and shops selling resort goods - swimsuits, swimming trunks, sunscreen, towels and sun hats.

Tourists relaxing on the beach can use the services of massage therapists, including specialists in Thai massage. There are also installations for hydromassage with sea water on the shore, and near the embankment you can undergo peeling procedures with Garra Rufa fish.

Water activities are available to everyone who finds themselves on the central beach of Kabardinka: banana boat rides, parachute flights behind a speedboat, water skiing, rental of jet skis and catamarans. Snorkeling enthusiasts can always rent a mask and fins. In the coastal area there is a bungee ride, water slides, and tables for those who like to play air hockey.

Other beaches of Kabardinka

From the border of Novorossiysk towards Kabardinka there is a chain of picturesque wild beaches. The beaches at Cape Penai, located 3-4 km from the resort village, are especially popular. In this place, the steep coast is only 3-5 meters away from the sea. Wild beaches are usually visited by lovers of secluded recreation, for whom sunbathing and swimming in front of a large crowd of people is uncomfortable. You can get to the wild beaches of Kabardinka along the M4 highway. From the highway to the beaches you go down the paths.

With residential development begins a series of well-maintained beaches belonging to various sanatoriums, boarding houses and children's health camps. Between the beaches of the Lazurny and Kabardinka boarding houses there is an area of unequipped coastline with wild beaches. Another wild beach is located between the beach areas owned by the Znamya and Sputnik camps.

There is also an unmaintained piece of the coastal strip just behind the embankment. It is often called the “public village beach.” When the central beach of Kabardinka is overloaded, many tourists come here, because this beach is covered with flat pebbles, and the entrance to the sea is gentle and comfortable.

Active recreation in Kabardinka

Many tourists prefer to spend their holidays actively, not limited to just swimming in the sea and sunbathing. There are several places for extreme sports fans in Kabardinka. In the center of the resort village, on Mira Street, there is a rope park “Uzelok”. Children and teenagers will especially enjoy passing obstacles in it. Adults can find similar entertainment in the extreme park, which is located on the embankment, near the Pearl of the Sea sanatorium. The obstacles it contains are a real test of the vestibular system, courage and dexterity.

Fans of water activities can visit the nearby Hellas water park. It is not very large in size, but is equipped with different slides and separate pools for adults and children. The Nadezhda sanatorium also has its own water park in Kabardinka. Fans of diving can enjoy underwater diving, and those who want to fight the waves and wind can enjoy windsurfing equipment, which can be rented on the Smena beach.

Water park in the Nadezhda sanatorium

At Metro Beach there is a free equipped beach volleyball court and table tennis tables. The Pearl of the Sea sanatorium has a fenced area for playing paintball. Modern gyms have been created at the Olympus stadium and in several sanatoriums.

Fans of active riding use the services of companies offering bicycle tours around Kabardinka, as well as trips around the surrounding area on ATVs and jeeps. From the spurs of the Markotkh ridge, where these travelers reach, there are magnificent views of Kabardinka, Cape Doob, the expanses of Tsemes Bay, Novorossiysk and Gelendzhik.

Memorable places in Kabardinka and its surroundings

During the Great Patriotic War, Kabardinka and the front line were separated by only 20 km. The Black Sea coast was engulfed in fierce battles in which more than 4 thousand local residents died. In memory of their feat, a Military Memorial was erected in the central square of the resort village. It is located to the north of the bus station and the intersection of Revolyutsionnaya and Mira streets. Every year on May 9, crowded rallies are held near the memorial, in which relatives of the victims also take part.

During one of the most difficult periods of the Great Patriotic War, in order to strengthen the firepower of the front, a fortified artillery battery was placed 3.5 km from Kabardinka, on the way to Novorossiysk. Powerful naval guns and reinforced concrete pillboxes were installed on the shore.

Military memorial "Zubkov Battery" Military memorial "Zubkov Battery"

The location was chosen well, and the artillerymen under the leadership of Captain Andrei Emmanuilovich Zubkov could control the entire water area of Tsemes Bay. They kept enemy ships under constant targeted fire and did not allow them to approach the Novorossiysk piers. The fearless commander Zubkov was even called the “port controller.”

The Germans bombed the battery non-stop, and planes with aerial bombs flew over the fortifications day and night. A lot of combat crews died here, and the guns themselves had to be replaced several times. And when there were short breaks, front-line artists came to the battery. Today, on the site where the artillerymen fought, near the Don highway, there is a memorial. It consists of a ship's cannon, an entrance to an artillery cellar, a pillbox and a military cemetery where fallen soldiers are buried.

In Kabardinka itself, on the steep Cape Doob, which juts out into the sea, a monument was erected in honor of those who died on the ship “Admiral Nakhimov”. A large passenger sea ship sank on the night of August 31 to September 1, 1986. During the disaster, about a third of everyone on board did not survive, and 423 people drowned in the waters of the bay. The composition, reminiscent of the tragedy, was created a year after the incident. At the memorial you can see a clock raised from the seabed. They show the time when the ship began to sink. About 2 miles from the resort village there is a black barrel at anchor in the waters of Tsemes Bay. It marks the site of the disaster and is clearly visible from the cape in good weather.

Temple in Kabardinka

In the center of the residential development of the resort, between Partizanskaya and Kollektivnaya streets, you can see the St. Panteleimon Church. A church dedicated to one of the revered Christian saints, Panteleimon the Healer, appeared in the village in 1875, thanks to the efforts of the Greek Orthodox community. Its members came here five years earlier from Turkey and brought an icon depicting the saint to Kabardinka.

Unfortunately, the first building of the temple has not survived. In 1937, during the active anti-religious campaign carried out by the Soviet government, it was completely destroyed. The church that can be seen today was built in the 1990s. The ancient icon has been preserved and today is displayed inside the temple under glass. The church building is open daily to everyone - both believers and tourists. Divine services are held there on Fridays, weekends and holidays.
