Where to go in Ukraine: interesting places for a weekend. In Kamenets-Podolsky - for a coffee festival

On May 1, the entire Orthodox Christian world celebrates the great holiday - Easter. Therefore, in the spring review you will find ideas for relaxation and travel for every taste. Take care of your tickets in advance, plan tours for the May holidays or take advantage of offers from tour operators. The main thing is not to miss the opportunity to relax in style!

For Lvov's birthday

Beautiful European Lviv is a pleasure to visit at any time of the year. But the May holidays are also the birthday of an incomparable city. Go celebrate, inhale the smell of the blossoming greenery of the squares, mixed with the aromas of Lviv coffee shops!

Traditionally, on these days, May 1–3, in Lviv, on Rynok Square, the annual festival “Batyar's Day” is held. Last year it attracted about 15 thousand people. Who are the batyars? These are peculiar people: merry revelers, gallant hooligans. During the time of Austria-Hungary, their motto was “Love Lions, love women and love jokes.” You won't get bored with them!

In addition, a festival of Easter eggs will be held in Lviv these Easter days. This is an art project, within which you can see half-meter-tall painted eggs on Museum Square and other places. An exhibition of works will also be open in the Pysanky Gallery, you can also take a master class, visit the Shevchenkovsky Gai Museum of Folk Architecture, where you will be surprised with a weaving Easter egg.

Important! You should take care of tickets and accommodation in advance: Lviv’s name days in the city are completely sold out!

To Kyiv - to the All-Ukrainian Easter eggs festival

And in the capital of Ukraine on May 1, the all-Ukrainian Easter eggs festival “Tree of Life” will be held. The unusual exhibition will open 7 days before Easter - April 23. In the very center of Kyiv, on Sophia and Mikhailovskaya squares, a grandiose performance “Author's Easter egg” will be organized: 374 Easter eggs one and a half meters high will be painted by the best masters of Ukraine.

The holiday program includes competitions, a presentation of the all-Ukrainian collection of Easter eggs, as well as traditional and modern Easter cakes, and an Easter fair.

On Easter at the Pochaev Lavra

The Holy Dormition Pochaev Lavra is one of the most popular destinations for Orthodox pilgrimage at Easter. The golden domes of the Lavra of the ancient city of Pochaev in the Ternopil region are visible from afar - the shrine is located on a hill 75 meters high and amazes with its calm grandeur. Its history begins in the 13th century, and now it is a whole temple complex with a monastery. The Pochaev Icon of the Mother of God, famous for its miraculous power, is kept here.

Listen to the melodic Easter ringing of the Lavra bells, rest your soul, clear your thoughts. Admire the beautiful scenery and architecture.

Admire the Desna flood in Novgorod-Seversky

There are remote but extraordinarily beautiful places in Ukraine that few people know about. One of them is the city of Novgorod-Seversky in the Chernigov region. Previously, it was the trade and cultural center of Kievan Rus.

Only in May you can see here a delightful and incomparable view - the flood of the Desna River. Green islands covered with young grass are scattered on the blue surface. This picture opens from the walls of the ancient Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery, founded in the 11th century. You will see a beautiful architectural monument - the Transfiguration Cathedral, visit the museum dedicated to "The Tale of Igor's Campaign". According to one legend, it was in this monastery that Yaroslavna cried, and a monument to her was erected here.

The places in the surrounding area are extremely beautiful; we recommend visiting the Mezinsky National Natural Park and thoroughly enjoying the pristine beautiful nature. The park administration organizes bus and walking tours. Or you can combine a trip to Novgorod-Seversky with a visit to Chernigov.

City of churches Chernigov

The ancient city of Chernigov will give you a joyful feeling of the Orthodox Easter holiday. This is a city of ancient temples: six churches from the 11th–12th centuries have been preserved here, and the solemn ringing of their bells will be remembered for a long time. It will be interesting to explore the Chernigovsky Detynets - a historical and cultural complex of an ancient fortress. Here, in the center of Chernigov, you will see architectural monuments of Kievan Rus - the five-domed Transfiguration Cathedral, the tomb of many princes, Boris and Gleb Cathedral and the majestic Catherine Church of the 17th and 18th centuries.

Be sure to visit the complex of the Trinity-Ilyinsky Monastery, founded by Anthony of Pechersk. Nearby are the Anthony Caves, which are no less impressive than the Kiev Pechersk Lavra.

The caves were inhabited by hermits who renounced everything earthly, prayed in the darkness and did not leave their wretched burrows until the end of their lives. Tour guides often talk about the ghost of a monk who wanders in the labyrinth of caves. You can select and book accommodation in Chernigov here.

On Hutsul Easter - in Kolomyia

You will probably want to see the largest pysanka in Ukraine this Easter. It is located in the town of Kolomyia in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The building of the world's only pysanka museum is built in the shape of a huge Easter egg 13 meters high. More than 6 thousand exhibits from all over Ukraine are stored here. The museum hosts master classes.

In Kolomyia they know how to preserve folk traditions. Visit the National Museum of Folk Art of the Hutsul and Pokuttya region. Here you will see beautiful folk art, Hutsul clothing, carpets, and furniture.

Kolomyia is a wonderful place where you can cheaply buy interesting little things, embroidered shirts, made by local craftsmen: there is a unique souvenir market. He starts working from 2 am until 9 am, don’t oversleep! And, of course, a tour to Kolomyia will not be complete without original dishes of Hutsul cuisine: for Easter they cook generously and tastefully! A special tour is offered for Hutsul Easter.

Western Ukraine: festival of fire, sakura and daffodils

In Western Ukraine, friendly Uzhgorod will welcome tourists on the May holidays with the Fire Life Fest. It will take place on May 2–3 in the Uzhgorod amphitheater. Spectators will be treated to exciting performances by fire theaters from all over Ukraine, and the headliner of the festival will be a guest from Hungary, Linda Farkas. The organizers promise entertainment, competitions for both children and adults, and a party until the morning.

On these May days, you will enjoy a simple walk around Uzhgorod, because at this time Japanese cherry trees - sakura - bloom along the Uzh River.

Sometimes it's good to see the world in pink! And if you want to look at the delicate white blossoms, like a bride’s outfit, go from the regional center to the town of Khust not far from Uzhgorod. Here in the Kireshi tract daffodils bloom.

In the Carpathians in spring: Vyzhnytsia National Park

Breathe the heady air of the mountain Carpathians, walk along ecological trails - a wonderful spring mood and a sea of bright impressions are guaranteed to you in the Vyzhnytsia National Park in Bukovina. An amazing mountain landscape, rocky cliffs and tracts, wayward rivers, sonorous streams and waterfalls, the aromas of herbs and beech forests - all this awaits tourists. Among these beauties there are rest stops.

The territory of the Vizhnitsa National Park is huge, and it also includes the famous Dovbush caves. Choose one of the routes proposed by the park administration. Hiking trips along ecological trails lasting from 2 to 8 hours or a bus route from Chernivtsi are offered. You can live among the mountains in Vizhnitsa or Putyla - these are popular eco-tourism destinations.

Cost of walking tours to Vyzhnytsia Park: 100–180 UAH (depending on the route), ticket to the Museum of Nature – 10 UAH.

Rafting on Cheremosh

Note to extreme sports enthusiasts: early May is the best time for rafting on the Cheremosh in the Carpathians, as the river is at its fullest at this time. Routes on the Black Cheremosh mainly start from the village of Dzembronya (65 km from Yaremche). Arrange for rafting with instructors, they will help you cope with the waywardness of the mountain river. For rafting, you can choose an inflatable raft boat, a kayak, a kayak boat or the safest catamaran. Travel agencies offer a rafting camp for the May holidays for 4 days. In addition to rafting, you will be advised to hike in the mountains.

Rafting cost: from 250 UAH and above (depending on the complexity of the route), accommodation in a tent in a rafting camp - 40 UAH/day. You can order here with the note "Rafting on the Cheremosh".

Rafting along the Dniester Canyon

Another popular place in the Carpathians for rafting during the May holidays is the longest Dniester canyon in Ukraine, which stretches for 250 km. And it’s okay if you don’t have any experience - the place is ideal for rafting even for beginners. The flow of the Dniester is unhurried, and with this type of vacation you will fully enjoy the beauty of nature: rocky slopes, relict forests with bright spring greenery, waterfalls.

There are many attractions in the surrounding area, for example, gypsum caves near the village of Odaev or a park in the village of Koropets, founded by the Pototskys, and the former summer residence of the Prime Minister of Austria. Everything will depend on your route. Read more about the trip to the fabulous Dniester Canyon here.

In Kamenets-Podolsky - for a coffee festival

Kamenets-Podolsky tirelessly attracts tourists at any time of the year, and on May 1–3 invites all coffee lovers to the Kamenets Turka festival. It is held annually; the tradition began when Kamenets craftsmen created an unprecedented giant Turka. It brews 333 liters of coffee and treats everyone. The organizers of the festival claim that for the first time in Ukraine, coffee appeared in Kamenets. The coffee town will be located in the central square of the Old Town. The festival program includes competitions, songs, and dances. Go ahead for coffee and souvenirs!

Of course, in Kamenets-Podilskyi you will see the main attraction of the city - an old medieval castle with impregnable towers and walls.

Cost: entrance to the castle – 4 UAH, with a guided tour – 30 UAH, sightseeing tour of the Old Town – 100 UAH.

About housing: for some dates it is already almost impossible to find housing in Kamenets-Podilskyi. So hurry up!

To the Podolsk Tovtry Nature Reserve

From Kamenets-Podilskyi it is worth going to the Podilsky Tovtry National Natural Park. There are very picturesque and unforgettable places here! Tovtry is the local name for the rocky ridge. You will find oak groves and beech forests, flowering meadows, the “Head of the Knight” rock, mysterious caves where the national hero Ustim Karmelyuk was hiding. Several ecological tourist routes have been developed.

If you want peace and quiet, go relax on the shores of Bakot Bay. The lake surrounded by rocks is unusually beautiful; in one of them the remains of a rock monastery have been preserved. The bay is a great place for photo sessions, especially at sunrise and sunset.

Cost: from 70 UAH, depends on the route - you need to check with the organizers.

Buk Canyon on the Gorny Tikich River

In the village of Buki, Cherkasy region, there is a uniquely picturesque place - the Buki Canyon on the Gorny Tikich River. You will be amazed by the power of the sheer granite slopes, and they are about two billion years old! People with imagination will see human profiles in the shape of rocks, and in one of the corners of the canyon the stone banks resemble Stonehenge. Nature is a brilliant creator of beauty! But the waterfall in the canyon is the work of man: once upon a time the first hydroelectric power station in Ukraine was built here, now the water flows picturesquely from what is left of the dam.

Buksky Canyon is a good place for extreme sports (rafting and rock climbing) and for a relaxing picnic in nature.

To Odessa - look at the sea

When choosing a tour for the May holidays, many want to be closer to the warmth and sun. Then you should go to Odessa! And although it’s still too early to swim in the sea, you can fully enjoy the sound of its waves, admire the yachts and ships in the seaport, and go on a boat trip. Just dress warmly - the spring sun is deceiving! The author of the photo is Tatyana Donenko.

In Odessa in the spring you can take a walk without fear of the heat and explore this wonderful city. Colorful Odessa courtyards, the famous Deribasovskaya, Primorsky Boulevard, Vorontsov Palace, cozy parks of Odessa and noisy discos of Arcadia are waiting for you! We recommend visiting the Shabo Wine Culture Center.

To Ukrainian Venice – Vilkovo

From Odessa you can go to the unique town of Vilkovo on the Danube, which has gained fame as the Ukrainian Venice. It really stands on the water, instead of streets there are canals, and the local islanders cannot imagine their life without boats. It's like another reality, mystical and mythical. At one time, the town was founded by Old Believers.

It’s worth booking a tour in advance, because there is always a lot of tourists here. After all, it’s hard to imagine a vacation for the May holidays without the sea. Travel agencies usually offer excursions to the mouth of the Danube, to kilometer zero. It is better to go to Vilkovo for at least two days in order to have time to explore the beauty of the Danube Biosphere Reserve. Where else will you see pink pelicans?

Excursion cost: from 725 UAH 2-day tour “Vilkovo and Ermakov Island”.

Visiting zebras and flamingos: Askania-Nova Nature Reserve

In the Kherson steppe there is a carefully protected corner of wild nature - the Askania-Nova reserve, which is already more than 100 years old. In May, when the lush spring greenery blooms, it is extremely beautiful here. After all, the plow has never touched the reserved steppe. Feel like a part of this virgin nature, look at amazing animals, listen to the singing of the birds that live here. Pink flamingos and proud peacocks, steppe saiga antelopes, zebras and Przewalski's horses - you will not see them anywhere else.

Tourists are offered various excursions - a zoo, an arboretum, and the "Retro Photo Safari" in the steppe - in a car or horse-drawn carriage - is especially popular. You will be able to photograph animals in their natural habitat.

Cost of visiting: from 30 to 200 UAH (depending on the type of excursion). A three-day tour will cost 1,750 UAH.

To Kirovograd – see half a million tulips

Did you know that at the beginning of May the arboretum in Kirovograd seems to turn into Holland? Half a million tulips of different varieties, colors and shapes bloom here. And if you love spring blossoms, then you should definitely come here for the May holidays. In addition, the arboretum has many attractions for both children and adults. An ideal place, for example, for Dnipropetrovsk residents to go on the May holidays.

Cost: entrance to the arboretum is free, tickets to attractions - from 10 to 30 UAH.

Sofievsky Arboretum: myths come to life

In May, when lush greenery and spring flowers bloom, it is good to visit one of the most famous places in Ukraine - Sofievsky Arboretum in Uman. Pond with swans, fountains, grottoes, gazebos; mythological stories of Ancient Greece and Rome, embodied in its layout and park sculptures - all this will become a journey into a fairy tale. There is even a Valley of the Cyclops and an underground river along which you can sail by boat.

Those who have been to the Sofievsky Arboretum recommend going there for at least two days - it is impossible to see all the sights of Sofiyivka in one.

Cost: entrance ticket – 20–30 UAH, excursion – 10–15 UAH per person.

To the oldest arboretum "Alexandria"

It’s good to visit the Alexandria Arboretum in Bila Tserkva in the spring. Did you know that this is the oldest and largest arboretum in Ukraine? True, the former luxury of the palace and park ensemble, built in the 18th century, has faded slightly in our time, but even now you will definitely fall in love with this corner of nature. Feel free to come here for two days!

In the oak groves of the park there are real giants, some of which are 200–400 years old. There is a huge clearing where 170 species of plants grow. The oldest tulip tree in Ukraine also grows in Alexandria Park.

Cost: entrance ticket – 5–10 UAH, excursion – 10–25 UAH per person.

You can combine a visit to the Alexandria Arboretum during the May holidays with a walk around Kyiv.

At the fountain show in Vinnitsa Recently, Vinnitsa has been surprising tourists with a real miracle - the largest floating light and music fountain in Europe. It was built in the bed of the Southern Bug River. Thanks to its unique design, it winters under the ice of the river, and in the spring it appears on its surface to delight Vinnytsia residents and city guests with a stunning laser show.

The fountain has its own poster; shows are scheduled every day, so you can enjoy the spectacle several times!

You will definitely like the clean, European-style, well-groomed Vinnitsa; do not forget to visit the estate-museum of the famous scientist Pirogov.

Wherever you decide to relax for the May holidays, the main thing is to take with you a good spring mood, and so that it is not spoiled by the vagaries of spring weather - an umbrella or raincoat.

Have a pleasant experience and bright photo shoots!

Foreign fashion designers of world fame have long fallen in love with Ukrainian national motifs in clothing. The popular American edition of Vogue marked Ukraine's great contribution to world fashion. Experts say that the influx of Ukrainian fashion onto fashion catwalks is richly white...

During the holiday season, we decided to figure out where we can spend our holidays in Ukraine, since not everyone can afford a holiday abroad this year. We offer you 12 places where it will be inexpensive, fun, and pleasant to relax.

Odessa

Odessa is an excellent option for those who love not only a beach holiday, but also a more intense, social holiday with trips to theatres, museums, concerts, walks around the city and gatherings in cafes and restaurants. The coastal beach line will also please you with its considerable size. There are many beaches here, and they are all different: paid and free, pebble and tiled. And most of them can offer you (of course, for a fee) sun loungers, umbrellas, mattresses, towels and other beach accessories. In addition, along the beach areas there are dozens of cafes, restaurants and other food zones.

The only thing worth remembering when going on vacation to this city is to prepare everything in advance. Every year Odessa welcomes more and more tourists, and therefore experienced travelers begin to book accommodation in May. It’s also better to take care of tickets to Odessa in advance.

Zatoka

Zatoka is a calmer and more affordable holiday option than Odessa. That is why there are not much fewer tourists here than in the city itself. An excellent option for those who come exclusively to sunbathe, swim, relax and laze around.

Compared to Odessa, Zatoka is a fairly budget option. Yes, there are expensive hotels and boarding houses, but you can also rent a room from private owners, and the service will be no worse.

Most beaches are clean and well-groomed, there are all the necessary conditions for recreation and developed infrastructure. For the curious, there is the Belgorod-Dniester Fortress nearby, and for those who get tired of the sea, there is the Dniester Estuary.

Skadovsk

Thousands of tourists love this resort town in the Kherson region for its clean beaches and fairly shallow coastline, which is ideal for vacationers with children. In addition, the water and air in Skadovsk are more saturated with iodine and bromine, and therefore rest here is not only pleasant, but also healthy.

There are enough beaches in Skadovsk: pebble and tiled, separate children's beaches and beaches for the disabled. Most of them are free, each has services where you can rent sun loungers, umbrellas, awnings, and mattresses. Many have children's slides and water attractions for the little ones and even for the very adults.

When visiting Skadovsk, be sure to visit the island of Dzharylgach - a unique place of Ukrainian nature, one of the largest islands in Ukraine. The island is uninhabited, and therefore its nature has been preserved in its original form. It is not surprising that the beaches of Dzharylgach are the cleanest and most beautiful; the water here is incredibly blue and very clear. The only negative is the lack of beach infrastructure, because this is a non-commercial zone.

Lazurnoe

In addition to Skadovsk, there are many more popular resort areas in the Kherson region. The most pleasant and comfortable holiday awaits you in the village of Lazurnoe. Due to its close location to the island of Dzharylgach, the water here is very clean, transparent and saturated with useful microelements.

The village is separated from the island by the Dzharylgachsky Bay, where the water is warmer and even cleaner, so vacationers have several options for swimming - in the bay or on the open sea. The only thing you should be wary of on all the beaches of the Kherson region are jellyfish, which appear in mid-summer.

Lazurny has all the infrastructure necessary for recreation. The beaches are equipped with changing rooms, toilets, children's areas, and you can rent sun loungers, umbrellas and mattresses. There are many cafes, restaurants and nightclubs along the embankment. Well, with the settlement, if, of course, you take care of it in advance, there will also be no problems. There is a wide choice of hotels, guest houses, boarding houses and sanatoriums in Lazurny. And just every second private owner rents out a room or part of a house at quite affordable prices.

Koblevo

Another popular place on the Black Sea coast. Koblevo is located in the Nikolaev region. The coastal area here is of considerable size, the beaches are large and clean. The owners of hotels, boarding houses, and sanatoriums will welcome you with open arms, and private owners will welcome you into their homes. There are a lot of different entertainments by the sea.

But Koblevo is not only a seaside area, but also a large pine forest, the smell of which fills the air of the city with freshness. This is also an excellent option for traveling in a friendly company, as there are many entertainment venues here, the main one of which is the Koblevo water park, one of the largest in southern Ukraine.

iron Port

Iron Port is an inexpensive resort in the Kherson region, which has earned the name “Kherson Las Vegas” thanks to its vibrant nightlife. Mostly young people come here for entertainment, inexpensive accommodation and, of course, watermelons.

Kirrilovka is a seaside resort on the Sea of Azov (Zaporozhye region), which is the best option for families with children. The beaches here are quite shallow and therefore warm. Also, Kirrilovka is known for its water park (the largest in Ukraine) and relatively low prices for accommodation.

Berdyansk

One of the key resorts of the Azov Sea is the city of Berdyansk in the Zaporozhye region and its famous Berdyansk Spit, one of the largest in Ukraine.

Many vacationers do not really praise the beaches in the city itself, since there is a lot of garbage and the beaches themselves are not very large, which is especially inconvenient during the season. But there are practically no bad reviews about the Berdyansk Spit. This is a unique protected area, which, in addition to access to the Sea of Azov, also has on its territory six large medicinal lakes with deposits of medicinal mud (here is an alternative to the Dead Sea). All beaches on the spit are free, clean, the sand is fine and soft, and due to the abundance of vegetation there are many cool areas.

Along the entire resort there are dozens of hotels, inns, boarding houses, and sanatoriums for any company and for any budget. A water park, amusement park, dolphinarium, zoo, fish restaurants and nightclubs will make sure that your vacation becomes unforgettable.

Shatsk Lakes, Lake Svityaz

Shatsky National Park is the largest lake complex in Ukraine, which contains more than 30 picturesque lakes of karst origin. This incredible beauty is located in the Volyn region, and people come here from all over Ukraine to relax.

Lake Svityaz is one of the largest and deepest in Ukraine. Around the lake there is a mound of sand, a lot of greenery and trees, which give freshness even on the hottest days. In the middle of Svityaz there is a picturesque green strip, which is also romantically called the Island of Lovers. Boat trips to the island are organized for everyone.

For children there are playgrounds and small water attractions, for adults there are barbecue areas with gazebos, for fishermen there are separate fishing areas. To better explore the lake and the surrounding area, you can rent boats and pedalos.

Blue Lakes

Another Ukrainian miracle of nature, on the shores of which it is pleasant to spend a vacation, is the Blue Lakes in the village of Oleshnya, Chernihiv region. Here, in the middle of pine forests, there are three unique lakes, and in the summer many travelers come here to splash in the warm azure water.

Near the lakes there is everything you need: a clean sandy beach, playgrounds, places for fishing, picnic pavilions, many cafes and bars. Many tourist complexes have been built around the lakes to suit every taste and budget: small wooden houses for families, two-story cottages for large groups, as well as campsites and tents for budget tourists. Entertainment is provided in the evenings and on weekends.

Pushcha-Voditsa

A vacation, no matter how long it lasts, is still short, but you want to swim and sunbathe all summer. The beaches off the banks of the Dnieper in Kiev are not always clean and safe, and therefore many residents of the capital prefer to go to the Pushcha-Voditsa park, where they can relax near a forest lake far from the bustle of the city.

Many beaches in Pushcha are equipped with everything you need: trestle beds and sun loungers, toilets and changing cabins. Boats are available for rent and there are several cafes.

Koncha-Zaspa

And even if not in Kyiv itself, but on the Dnieper you can have a great rest on clean, well-groomed beaches. They are located in the village of Koncha-Zaspa and belong to various health resorts, recreation centers and boarding houses. There is no need to check in: you can simply pay the entrance fee and go to the beach.

Of course, there are also VIP complexes where they demand exorbitant amounts of money to stay on site. But even with standard recreation centers you can find excellent clean beaches with the same sun loungers, umbrellas and tidy territory.

Photo: Where to go to the sea in Ukraine (www.odessa360.net)

Half of summer is behind us. Beach season is in full swing. Where can Ukrainians go on vacation this year at the seaside, see our material

There are only a month and a half left until the end of summer. And the summer sun and vacation are just tempting you for new and bright impressions. But the current dollar exchange rate does not allow everyone to go abroad. No problem! I decided to figure out where it is better to go with children to Ukraine in 2016 - to the Black Sea or the Azov Sea?

Resorts of the Azov Sea

The warmest and shallowest in Ukraine is the Sea of Azov. But where is it better to go to the Sea of Azov, since the choice is not small?

Genichesk

The heart of summer holidays in the Kherson region is Genichesk. The small town is located on the shore of the Utklyuk Estuary opposite the Arabat Spit. Here the sea is like fresh milk and the clean Cote d'Azur. Because of its shallow coastline, it is called a “paddling pool.” For diving enthusiasts it will definitely be a bit small, but this is an excellent solution for mothers who are looking for an answer to the question “Where is the best place to go to the sea in Ukraine with children?”

There are few attractions in the city. The main ones are T. Shevchenko Park and the local history museum. There are other attractions: a dolphinarium and an ostrich farm.

In the summer, you can improve your health on the Arabat Spit. There are hot mineral springs in several places. One of the most visited is located outside the village of Schastlivtsevo, 20 km from Genichesk. The water here is mineral and medicinal, and has a temperature of 70 degrees. Bathing in the spring helps in the treatment of chronic and skin diseases. Entrance to the source is free.

Housing in Genichesk is mostly inexpensive, mainly represented by the private sector, from rooms with metal beds to houses with modern furniture.

There are no difficulties in buying groceries either. Vegetables, fruits, fish and meat can be purchased at the Central Market at affordable prices.

How to get there: you can get to the city both by car and by public transport. From Kyiv you can get to the station. Novoalekseevka, and from there by train or minibus to Genichesk.

Price: accommodation 50–200 UAH. (per person, without meals).

Kirillovka

This is the next city on the shore of the Azov Sea where you can go in the summer in Ukraine. This is a unique resort formed by the Molochny and Utlyuksky estuaries.

Despite the wide price range and varying levels of comfort, accommodation will allow everyone to find an option they can afford.

In addition to therapeutic and environmental factors, Kirillovka is distinguished by its close location of bases by the sea. So, today in the village there are about 200 bases on Fedotova Spit and more than 100 bases on Peresyp Spit.

From housing to the sea it is very close. Therefore, the cost of living here is much higher than in the village itself. For example, a day in a rented house for one vacationer will cost approximately 60 hryvnia, at a recreation center - 2 times more expensive. However, the price for a room in Kirillovka depends primarily on the amenities provided.

The main attraction of Kirillovka, of course, is the sea, but there are other entertainments - the largest water park in Ukraine, an amusement park and a dolphinarium.

Prices: 50 to 1300 UAH. (per person, without meals).

How to get there: it’s convenient to go to Kirillovka from Melitopol, which can be reached by train.

Berdyansk

Berdyansk is another wonderful place to go on an inexpensive vacation at sea in Ukraine.

There is a range of entertainment at sea: a Ferris wheel, a water park, a zoo, a dolphinarium. But perhaps the main attraction is the monuments. There are quite a lot of them in a small town. Here is a monument to the feeding goby, and to the fisherman, and to the ringing mosquito.

The cost of food in the city is standard.

Prices: 50-350 UAH. (per person, without meals).

How to get there: in summer there are regular trains from Kyiv to the sea. There are also bus routes, but their prices are higher.

Primorsk

Primorsk is a small town located on the shores of the Azov Sea. An excellent option where you can go to the sea in Ukraine with children, because here it is shallowest, and therefore the water is very warm. The advantage of the beaches is clean sand and access to two bodies of water - the sea and the estuary.

The main attraction of the city is the local history museum, where there are ancient artifacts: stone figures and the Trinity Church (19th century)

Prices: accommodation 50-250 UAH. (per person, without meals).

How to get there: regular buses go to the sea all year round from the bus stations of Dnepr, Zaporozhye, Melitopol. If you use railway transport, you can get to Melitopol, and then transfer to a minibus: Melitopol-Primorsk.

But you should remember that you should dive only after exploring the bottom. There are also many waterfalls in the canyon.

Not far from this canyon is the Arbuzinsky Canyon, it can be seen from the Navel of the Earth rock - a picturesque view opens from there.

Another amazing place in this area is the Trikrat forest-labyrinth. It looks like a fairy tale because there are so many quaint bridges, beautiful gazebos and winding paths.

The places here are clean, as they are not very popular and there are few tourists. You can only relax in the canyon with tents; you will have to take food and drinks with you. You can also spend the night in Voznesensk, the average price for a room is 200 UAH/day.

The rock monastery (built during the existence of Kievan Rus) makes it even more attractive. It is located inside the rock, you can get to it in two ways: go down the steps carved into the rock or swim up to the White Rock by boat. The height of the rock is 120m. There are three mineral water springs near the monastery. They are considered healing.

Entertainment here: boating, catamarans, locals praise fishing. The water here is the purest. The infrastructure is poorly developed, so the place is not very popular. It’s good here for those who want to be alone with nature - the views are simply gorgeous.

Pyramid in the village Birch Rudka Piryatinsky district of Poltava region was built in 1898.

This family tomb was built on his estate by Ignatius Platonovich Zakrevsky, who worked for a long time as the Russian ambassador to Egypt under Emperor Alexander III. It was his service in Egypt that allowed him to become seriously interested in the history of the Egyptian pyramids and the culture of this amazing country.

Upon returning to his estate in Berezovaya Rudka he brought many things: elements of furniture and dishes, as well as a statue of the goddess Isis for the future family pyramid-tomb.

After the construction of the pyramid was completed in 1898, the height reached 9 meters. The entrance was guarded by a statue of the goddess Isis, a symbol of family fidelity. The inner surface was painted on one side with quotations from the Bible, and on the other with Egyptian frescoes.

In the center of this chapel there was an altar with a large stone cross. And at the top stood his iron brother.
Thus in pyramid-tomb of the Zakrevskys The symbiosis of ancient Egyptian culture and Christian culture reached its apogee.

Neither inscriptions, nor frescoes on the walls of the tomb, nor the statue of the goddess Isis, nor the cross on the altar have survived to this day. In 1917, the frescoes and inscriptions were torn down, and the statue ended up in a landfill.
It was not possible to completely destroy this monument due to the fact that the mortar holding the bricks together was made according to ancient recipes and held the masonry tightly.
