Walking routes around Venice with a map. Audio guide and guide to Venice in Russian with routes - YARVITTO, welcomes you! Immersion in an era - 18th Century Museum Ca Rezzonico

I’m very glad that I didn’t immediately buy Tripster’s daily excursions to several cities. Yes, it’s cheap, but the quality is appropriate. After all, private guides work for results. And now specifically about the excursion 10/09/2019:
- there were 23 people. 23 people, Karl! A few reviews ago, someone complained that a crowd came for the excursion, but Tripster replied that there were only 2 people more than the norm of 15 people and these were suddenly friends of tourists who could not be refused. On our excursion there were tourists who had paid for the same excursion from another site and never got caught by accident.
- the guide didn’t even try to raise her voice so that everyone could hear. And she spoke very quietly.
- the tour took place from 15:15 to 16:55. 1h40 min. Nothing. Of this time, we walked for about 1 hour at a brisk pace between stopping points.
- now regarding the composition of the excursion, so as not to be unfounded, my comments from the official description are in parentheses in capital letters:
Must-see places in Venice
During the walk, we will introduce you to Venice “for locals” and help you navigate the most interesting corners of the city: you will see where the last Doge rests (NOT SHOWN), walk through typical Venetian streets (VERY QUICK), see the school of St. John the Evangelista (WHERE WAS SHE?), the Frari Church (WHAT IS THIS?), the student heart of the city - Campo Santa Margherita, as well as the Church of St. Knickers with the largest ceiling panel (MAYBE THEY PASSED BY, BUT WERE NOT SHOWING). We'll talk about how and where the impoverished Venetian nobles lived (SOMETHING HAPPENED), visit the place where they created masks for Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise (DID NOT VISIT), and take a walk through the red light district (MAYBE WE WILL THROUGH IT WE WALKED BUT DID NOT PAY OUR ATTENTION). Let's look at the fish market (EMPTY, WHO NEEDS IT AFTER 12 O'clock?) and the Rialto Bridge (RUN), explore Venice from a bird's eye view (THIS IS A FREE VIEWING POINT NEAR THE RIALTO BRIDGE ON THE ROOF OF THE SHOPPING CENTER WHERE I SPECIFICALLY CANCELED PERSONAL RONING, THINKING THAT THE TOUR GUIDE WILL STILL LEAD ON HIS RESERVATION), and we’ll finish the walk at the Bridge of Sighs (WE WERE NOT TAKEN TO THE BRIDGE WITH A VIEW OF THE BRIDGE OF SIGHTS, WE WERE NOT EVEN TALKED ABOUT IT, AND I WAS PLANNING TO TAKE A SHOT FROM THERE, WELL, I WILL KNOW NOW WHAT YOU CANNOT BE TRUSTED IN THE EXCURSION DESCRIPTIONS FROM A TRIPSTER), from where it’s just a minute’s walk to St. Mark’s Square! (WE WERE ALREADY IN THE SQUARE AT 16:25, THE TOUR WAS ENDED THERE).

The result of my review: think for yourself, decide for yourself whether you want to have all this on your long-awaited vacation. Or it’s better to pay extra for a private guide, of which there are dozens on this site, and get normal quality and compliance with the route.

Hello Maria!
On 9.10 the planned group was 15 people, but 19 people were present on the excursion, which does not affect the quality of the excursion. In addition to the planned number, there was 1 child in the group, whom the tourists did not indicate in the application, since children under 12 attend our excursion for free. And 3 people who booked an excursion for a different date, but due to circumstances beyond our control, came on the excursion on that day. These tourists came with paid vouchers; the guide, of course, accepted the tourists into the group.
All our guides are checked against Google Timeline and we see where and how the guide leads the group and how long the excursion lasts. The excursion that day did not last 1 hour 40 minutes.
On this day, the excursion was conducted by Ekaterina, a licensed guide with 16 years of experience and a huge number of positive reviews. One of them is above "Thanks to Catherine for a very interesting excursion. Everything is presented very well and structurally. We understood Venice!!!"
We are very sorry that the excursion did not meet your expectations, we hope your next travel experience will be more enjoyable.

We have created an application for you, for your phone or tablet, that helps the average tourist. This is a guide, audio guide, tour guide and map of Venice in one! By the way, in addition to Venice, we have routes in Rome, Florence and Milan.

Excursion “Timeless Romance”

Today we will take a fascinating tour of the island Venice, a beautiful city located on the water.
And we will begin our story with the history of this amazing city.

The emergence of Venice is closely connected with the tribes of ancient peoples - the Veneti, who inhabited the northwestern coastal zones of the Adriatic Sea from the 12th-11th centuries BC. Later these territories received the name Venetia.
During the Roman Empire, the ancient regions of Northern Italy were united into the 10th region, which included Venetia, Istria and some other lands. In the 5th century, after the division of the Roman Empire into Western and Eastern, during the period of the great migration of peoples, the region was subject to frequent attacks by ancient Germanic tribes, which led to the plunder and devastation of the regions. Residents of the mainland began to move to the islands of the lagoon, where new villages appeared and economic zones were formed.

The official founding date of Venice is March 25, 421. But in fact, the formation of the city occurred much later. In the 5th century, Venice was more of a lagoon settlement. At the end of the 7th century, the first Doge, Paolo Lucio Anafesto, was elected, and, probably, it was from this moment that the history of the famous city on the water began.

Today, Venice occupies not only the islands of the lagoon, but also has a mainland part. It is a fairly large and developed city, with the largest seaport and international airport, oil refineries and shipbuilding plants. Venice has a well-developed infrastructure and light industry; part of the economy is tourism and handicrafts.
It is generally accepted that Venice is, first of all, a city of lovers. Narrow streets, openwork bridges, splashing water and many seemingly insignificant little things create a certain atmosphere, in which the desire to rush somewhere disappears, you just want to enjoy it to the fullest. But Venice is not only about romance. This is a city that contains a huge architectural heritage and numerous works of art. Thanks to this, it is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Our guide to Venice in Russian starts the tour from the main railway station of Santa Lucia, this is where the first acquaintance with the city takes place for almost everyone who comes to Venice. Then we will walk along the Barefoot Bridge, visit several ancient basilicas and get acquainted with the works of great artists and sculptors. After this, we will go to the main square of the city, where the pearl of Byzantine architecture is located - St. Mark's Cathedral. You will have a great opportunity to climb the tallest tower in Venice and admire the magnificent panoramic view. We will learn the history of the famous Doge's Palace, walk along the embankment, get acquainted with the romantic Casanova and the famous Bridge of Sighs.

Our tour of Venice will be dedicated to the main attractions of the city, interesting events and legendary personalities. The excursion program is quite rich and varied. We hope that today will be memorable for you and will bring many positive emotions.

Today, you will have a great opportunity to get acquainted with the wonderful works of famous artists and sculptors. There is a fee for visiting museums; tickets can be purchased at the appropriate ticket offices. If you would like to see all the exhibitions and expositions we recommend, it is better to purchase a museum membership. There are several types of them in Venice, which, accordingly, differ in price. For example, the Venice Card City gives access to 12 museums in Venice, including museums on the islands of Murano and Burano and access to some special shrines in churches, as well as exhibitions held during the given period. The validity period of such a subscription is 7 days from the moment of its first activation. Ours will tell you about most museums audio guide and guide to Venice in Russian with routes- YARVITTO.

Another subscription, the “Museum Pass Venice,” gives the right to visit only museums, but it costs much less, and its validity is 6 months from the date of activation. The measured swaying of gondolas on the water, the sound of the surf, the ringing of bells spreading through the streets, hurried steps somewhere around the corner, and the complete absence of automobile traffic - this is how Venice appears to travelers. A sightseeing tour of Venice will introduce you to the city, and the guide will become a good friend, showing the city with inspiration and interest. Excursions in Venice in Russian can be easy and relaxed, or they can make your heart beat faster and feel an unpleasant chill. To do this, go for a walk through mystical Venice, where beauty borders on death, where on the Bridge of Sighs you can hear the footsteps of the condemned, and the ghosts of the city await you around every corner. The secrets and legends of the city, its ups and downs - everything awaits you here.

Guides in Venice are able to create any atmosphere in this city. You will see the city as mystical, romantic, as well as cultural - art galleries with modern and classical art, museums and stories about the architectural features of the city await you.

Not far from Venice are the islands of Murano and Burano, where the production of the world-famous colored Murano glass originated. The traditions were also adopted by craftsmen from Venice, whose work you can observe during an excursion in Venice. In the craft workshops you will watch the process of making glass figurines, and you will also be able to buy real Murano glass, which will become a wonderful souvenir.

The cost of excursions in Venice varies depending on the program and duration of the walk.

Hello! My name is Natalia. Licensed tour guide in Venice and the surrounding area. Born in Ukraine. Graduated from the Kherson Pedagogical Institute named after. N.K. Krupskaya, Faculty of Foreign Languages. I have been living in Italy since 2002. I fell in love with Venice immediately. From my first days in Venice I became fascinated by its history. In 2011, she received a license as a guide in Venice and the surrounding area in Russian and Ukrainian. But she didn’t stop studying. It seems to me impossible to get to know Venice, its rich history, its special vibrant paintings, even if I spend 100 years here. But to show the uniqueness of this city, to introduce you to corners of Venice that you cannot find on your own, to show the main attractions of the city and non-tourist places, Venice on foot and Venice from the water, magnificent works of art in churches, museums, palaces and scuoli of Venice, I consider it not just my job , but by his duty.

Welcome!
My name is Victoria and I will be glad to meet you in Venice and show you this unique city. I was born in St. Petersburg, graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Leningrad State University. In 1998, I moved to Italy and received a second higher education at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (my thesis was dedicated to I. Brodsky). Since philology implies a love of words, I work as a guide, considering the excursion a literary work. And you can choose the genre of this work yourself - a historical, love or detective novel, a poem, an anecdote or a collection of stories. Let's create together!

Good afternoon, dear travelers!
I am glad to welcome you to Venice, a unique and inimitable city that surprises the whole world: its history of ups and downs captivates, the wealth of architectural monuments and sculptures amazes, hundreds of paintings by great artists fascinate.
But in order to get to know this city, feel its atmosphere and magic, see and appreciate its sights, and also taste the charm of unexplored routes, you need a professional guide who is in love with this city, knows it thoroughly, understands works of art, and has not comprehended it. only with the mind, but also with the heart.
I dare say that I am just such a guide. I was born in Moscow, but I have been living in Venice for 20 years and consider myself a Russian Venetian. I received my guide’s license in 2009 in this city, having gone through a careful selection process and passed a very difficult exam. It was held once every 2 years, participation in it required a higher education, knowledge of English and Italian, all the sights of the city, the commission was very biased and representative: it included art historians and professors.
I can offer you an original excursion program taking into account your suggestions and wishes. I am sure: you will be imbued with the charm of Venice, you will love this city as much as I love it, it will remain in your hearts as a star named Happiness.

Is it really possible to accomplish anything in one day in Venice? I am sure that with proper and clear planning, you can see a lot and even feel the Most Serene One. However, you need to remember that you will not have a chance to correct and inspect it. So, with a little hard work in preparation, your stay in Venice will remain a good memory for many years.

Scalzi Bridge (Ponte degli Scalzi)

Ponte degli Scalzi, 30135 Venezia VE, Italy

The Barefoot Bridge, this is how Ponte degli Scalzi is translated from Italian into Russian. The bridge over the Grand Canal received such a fancy name according to 2 versions: once there was a district of poor Venetians who did not even have enough money for shoes and constantly walked barefoot, the second version is in honor of the church of Santa Maria in Nazareth ( barefoot Carmelite monks)

The Church of Santa Maria della Salute was built in gratitude for the relief from the plague. Inside there are paintings by Tintoretto and Titian.

At this arrow, behind the Church of Santa Maria della Salute, our first walking route through the Dorsoduru area ends.

  1. Free: walk to San Marco via the Accademia Bridge;
  2. Dear: Take Vaporetto No. 1 from Salute Pier to S. Zaccaria;
  3. Extreme: take a traghetto gondola and swim across the Grand Canal.

Costs only 2 € per person. Up to 7 people can sit in the gondola and it is controlled by 2 gondoliers. When you stand in a gondola, which sways from the passing Voparetto, the feeling is indescribable.

Gondola traghetto will take you to the pier of Santa Maria del Giglio

The route is on the map with the possibility of adjustment. The last point of the route is the traghetto gondola pier. This is exactly how I recommend crossing the Grand Canal, especially if riding a gondola is not part of your plans.

Our entire route will be 3.3 km, and it will take from 2 to 4 hours. If you are not yet ready to join the crowd of tourists at San Marco, then you can change your plan a little and immediately after Santa Maria della Salute go to the Campanile of San Giorgio Maggiore. To do this, you need to return to the Zattere embankment and take vaporetto no. 2, which moves in the direction of S. Marco. Get off at the station - S. Giorgio.

Only 4 stops:

  • Giudecca Palanca DX
  • Redentore
  • Zitelle
  • S. Giorgio

And on the way back from Santa Maria della Salute, I suggest you walk past the Accademia Museum. Still, it would be nice to look at it from the outside:
