Among the various vacation options, you might consider a January trip to Israel. In addition to the short flight, the advantages also include low prices and the absence of early visa processing. The weather is quite conducive to relaxation. Despite the winter, the air during the day reaches +22°C - +23°C, and at night the thermometer drops to +17°C +20°C.

Coastal sea waters are also normal for swimming; they warm up to about +22°C. When visiting Israel in winter, you should definitely undergo a course of healing and rejuvenating procedures in the waters of the Dead Sea. If you visit the country at the beginning of the month, you can have time to celebrate the New Year holidays, and if your vacation falls in the second half of the month, you can visit all kinds of sales in all corners of the country.

Hotels in the UAE offer the highest level of service, although the cost is therefore much higher, and if the hotel is located on the first coastline, then even more expensive than those located within the city limits. An integral part of visiting the UAE is widespread shopping with a variety of discounts.

Despite the winter month, the weather in the UAE is warm and dry, during the day the air heats up to +24°C, at night it becomes a little cooler, but not cold. But lovers of the sea and swimming may be slightly upset; the temperature in the sea does not rise above +20°C. When choosing a trip to the United Arab Emirates, you can choose fairly budget tours. The visa is issued within 5–6 days.

Canary Islands

The Canaries are a beautiful archipelago, lost in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. It is not for nothing that they are considered the islands of eternal summer due to their mild subtropical climate. Despite the winter, the islands enjoy bright, sunny summer weather and in January you can sunbathe and relax your body and soul.

On January days, the temperature ranges between +23°C - 25°C, and by night it practically does not change. The water on the ocean coast stays within +24°C. On New Year's Eve and at the very beginning of January, you can enjoy spectacular fireworks and salutes, and towards the end of the month you can attend the celebration of the day of San Antonio Abad, the patron saint of all animals. The Canary Islands are an excellent option for a winter holiday, and in order to get there, a Schengen visa is enough.

Thailand

Thailand is ideal for those who want to instantly move from cold winter to sultry summer. The temperature level even in winter remains at +30°C, and the water heats up to a temperature of +28°C. At the resorts of Thailand you can discover a completely varied holiday, it can be either an active one, full of entertainment and excursions, or a completely secluded, quiet holiday, and for lovers of nightlife there are many different clubs and venues. The price criteria for tours in January are completely different from a budget option to quite expensive.

India, Goa

The state of Goa - one of the famous Indian resorts - has long attracted Russian tourists, despite the long flight, it lasts about 7 hours, but the vacation is worth it. Despite the fact that January is the winter month, the height of the season is just beginning here. There are ideal conditions for January holidays here, the air is constantly around +30°C, and the water is around +28°C. When you come to India in the second half of the month, you can take part in the colorful procession and celebration of Republic Day, which the whole country celebrates.

For some reason, resorts in Vietnam are not particularly popular among tourists, unlike similar tours to Thailand. But, nevertheless, a beach holiday at the resorts of this country in January can be a good alternative. The biggest, but only drawback can only be considered a fairly long flight by plane. However, at this time of year there are optimal conditions for a good holiday on the coast of Vietnam. Air and water are heated to the thermometer mark +26°C-+27°C. In addition to a beach holiday, in Vietnam you can more than enjoy a variety of holidays, which are constantly held there according to the lunar calendar.

You can also spend your winter holidays in Malaysia; the cost of tours to this romantic place is within the average range. Therefore, almost anyone can afford a holiday at a Malaysian resort. With a fairly small fee for a vacation, tourists will always receive excellent service and comfortable living conditions. Temperature conditions allow you to fully enjoy the warm sun and water; during the day the weather is quite hot, about +30 °C, and at night it drops only a couple of degrees.

For tourists who prefer an active lifestyle, diving is offered along the entire coast, and for those who prefer a calm and measured life, there are many excursions to historical places and nature reserves. Holidays in this country are increasingly in demand every year. And this is not surprising. After all, here you can find something to do for both soul and body. Luxurious beaches, comfortable hotels, mesmerizing beauty of nature - what could be better. For those who like to spend money, they specially organize shopping tours to various shops with souvenirs and more.

Tours to the Maldives are the most expensive of all those listed, but at the same time they are simply unforgettable. The Maldives, located in the Indian Ocean, are very attractive to tourists and travelers seeking a measured, quiet holiday and a high level of service. It is in January that the best weather conditions are here for comfortable rest and relaxation. The weather at this time in the Maldives is beautiful, without rain, water and air warm up to +30°C. In January, the Dominican Republic provides you with the widest opportunities for recreation. If you want to move from the Russian winter to the hot summer, sunbathe and swim in the sea - please. If you want to combine a beach holiday with skiing on the snow-covered slopes, go ahead. At this time, in the resort towns of the Dominican Republic, the temperature rises to + 28-29 C. If you cannot tolerate the hot climate, you can choose resorts located on the northern coast - refreshing winds blow there. For ski lovers, January in the Dominican Republic is a real paradise. At an altitude exceeding 3000 meters there is snow. And during leisure hours you can go to the coast, sunbathe, swim, and dive.

It is in January that tourists from North America come to the Dominican Republic. At this time of year, if it rains, it only lasts for a short time and does not interfere with going on excursions. For example, this is the best time to watch the life of humpback whales. You can visit Columbus's grave and explore other sights of the country. Even children will feel comfortable swimming in January. The water temperature rises to + 26-27 C. Adults will be interested in participating or just watching the windsurfing competitions that take place at this time of year.

You can go to Mexico at any time of the year – air and water temperatures change slightly throughout the 365 days. January is no exception. Except that in the depths of winter the nights become a little cooler. On average in January, the air warms up to +29-31 C during the day, and on the “coldest” south-eastern coast of the country at the height of the day it can reach + 27 C. Tour operators will advise you to take warm clothes with you only if you want explore the snow-capped mountain peaks. Holidays in the depths of winter offer you the widest range of possibilities. At this time it is pleasant to sunbathe on the beaches - the water is warmed up to + 24-26C.

Storms are not typical for winter; calm prevails most of the time. This is truly a golden period for diving and fishing. Beautiful underwater landscapes and numerous marine inhabitants will allow you to get vivid impressions and take great photographs. And if you are an avid fishing fan, then the catches in January will only please you. The fish are biting well. On January 6, Mexico celebrates the Feast of the Three Kings, so fans of spectacle will also be satisfied.

From the domestic winter, which seems endless, you will be transported to eternal summer - to the kingdom of warmth and bliss. The air temperature here ranges from +27 to +30 C. It is in January that elderly people and children will feel good in Cuba. In winter there is no high humidity - this is the dry season. It rains only 3-4 times a month and lasts no more than half an hour. What to do during this time? The greatest choice is provided by beach holidays. You can sunbathe, swim, ride the waves, as well as banana boats, paragliders, and water skis.

Diving enthusiasts can dive on their own, or take the help of instructors to explore the most interesting places. If you went to Cuba together and want to enjoy a romantic holiday, it is in January that you will find deserted coves where you can be alone with each other. On January 1, the country celebrates Cuba's Liberation Day, so the New Year here coincides with national celebrations.

Indonesia, Bali

Fabulous Indonesia is a real paradise, and visiting there in January, when winter is raging in Russia, means a trip you will remember for the rest of your life. The air temperature rises to + 28-30 C during the day and drops to + 20-21 C at night. Of course, there is snow on the mountain peaks throughout the year, but you can only visit the mountains if you go there on excursions. It is worth noting that in January there are thunderstorms and rain. But they happen at night or early in the morning. So, bad weather will not bother you during the day.

Residents of Indonesia are already accustomed to the fact that Europeans like to celebrate the New Year in their country. A festive entertainment program will be prepared for you, and artisans will offer you their best goods, including famous Indonesian handmade jewelry. The water temperature stays between +27-29C, meaning all beach and sea activities will be available to you. The prices for tickets at this time of year are only encouraging.

Continue your New Year's holiday on the shores of the Caribbean Sea - what could be more beautiful? Change the cold winter to a hot summer away from home and meet new, unusual people. Try Jamaican rum while listening to the mesmerizing sounds of reggae. Soak up the sand under the southern sun. Get acquainted with local cuisine and national flavor. All this can be done in winter, when vacation or Christmas weekend is in full swing.

Moreover, in January there is minimal precipitation in Jamaica, and the average temperature remains the same hot all year round. The island offers a lush diversity of flora and fauna, as well as incredibly beautiful sunsets. You can meet them with a cup of delicious coffee, which is grown and exported here (the most popular is Blue Mountain).

Lovers of the “forbidden” will certainly be offered to treat themselves to smoking “kaija” – that’s what they call marijuana here. By the way, it is recognized as part of the Jamaican cultural heritage, although it is officially banned. But this does not stop Jamaicans from smoking cannabis in unlimited quantities.

One of the most beautiful islands welcomes an influx of tourists every winter. Everyone wants to enjoy summer in the middle of winter. Although there is an increased level of precipitation here in January, the warm sea and beach holidays are not particularly affected. The coastline is famous for its coral reefs. Here you can find exotic species of fish and incredibly beautiful corals.

In addition, surfers also loved the local waves. If you want to learn about the local culture, then you should choose an excursion type of vacation. Traveling around the island and tea plantations will allow you to see its beauty, get to know the inhabitants, their activities and recreation. It is noteworthy that most of the attractions of Sri Lanka are natural creations.

The islanders pay great attention to the environment and try to live in harmony with it. Therefore, when you get here, you feel as if you are in a nature reserve, in the lap of virgin nature. You can join the world of flora and fauna at the Royal Botanical Garden, at the turtle farm, and at the elephant nursery. Tourists are especially delighted by whales and sperm whales, which at this time often swim past the shores of the island.

January is the height of hot summer on the island. Monsoons from the southeast saturate the atmosphere with moisture, which is shed in short-term showers. Constant winds, which relieve stuffiness, save the situation. High humidity does not stop visitors who want to relax on the “paradise” island in the harsh winter. Despite frequent storms in the ocean, diving is common in Mauritius at this time. This is facilitated by the ring of reefs that protect the island.

In addition, in the winter months there is excellent visibility - 15-20 m. In addition to an excellent beach holiday, you can take exciting excursions around the island. So you will see picturesque landscapes, ancient temples and other places of worship. Exotic animals, of which there are a large number, are also impressive. Warm, beautiful and amazing - this is about Mauritius.

This African country has always attracted tourists with its exoticism. There are few places where you can safely get acquainted with the “Dark Continent”. Herds of giraffes and zebras in national parks, extreme safari, unforgettable fishing. And all this against the backdrop of majestic nature. And what is it worth to watch the sunset over the savannah?

Those planning a trip in January should take into account that it is the rainy season in Tanzania. But the air temperature remains high, so it is hot and humid here. For an unprepared tourist, such a vacation can result in poor health. If such prospects do not frighten you, then Tanzania hospitably opens its doors to everyone. Moreover, in January you can save money, because there are fewer tourists, and therefore prices are lower.

January for the Kingdom of Cambodia is the optimal time for relaxation. Air humidity, characteristic of Asian resorts, decreases at this time, and there is practically no precipitation. The famous beaches of Sihanoukville delight holidaymakers with azure waters, white sand and a pleasant sea breeze. To complete the cultural program, you must visit the medieval city of Angkor.

It is famous for its religious buildings and temples, recognized as one of the most beautiful in the world. The capital Phnom Penh also has many museums and architectural attractions. But the local markets are especially impressive, where you can buy not only traditional souvenirs. Various handmade products of incredible beauty and complexity are sold here. Local craftsmen continue the traditions and crafts of their ancestors.

This is a real equatorial paradise for those who are tired of snowstorms and frosts. The exotic beach with palm trees and crystal clear water proclaims the spirit of happiness and freedom for all vacationers. The Seychelles archipelago consists of many islands, where there are both developed ones, with shopping centers and restaurants, and “uninhabited ones”. This “uninhabited place” is specially created for an exclusive holiday away from human hustle and bustle and worries.

The service and infrastructure on the islands are of a high level; holidays here cannot be called cheap. The endless beaches of atolls and islands make you forget about problems and surrender to pleasure - the sea, mountains, flora and fauna. You won’t be bored here: after a romantic retreat, you can stroll through the capital’s shopping centers, go out to the open sea for fishing, or attend a master class on cooking local cuisine.

This eastern state on the shores of the Arabian Sea is ideal for a beach holiday in January. The rains have stopped, the water and air temperatures are comfortable for swimming and sunbathing, as well as for excursions. Mysterious Oman is interesting for sightseeing tours. This Muslim state has an ancient history and many unique attractions. Tourists often visit ancient forts, mosques, ruins of ancient palaces and settlements, theaters and museums.

In the Matrakh area you can visit a real oriental bazaar. They sell a variety of curiosities, from jewelry and antiques to handicrafts from local artisans. Thrill seekers will be impressed by Al Khuta Cave. There are special excursions along it, where you can see halls with stalactites and stalagmites, a cave lake and a geological exhibition. And near the city of Nahal you can swim in hot springs, where the water temperature reaches 40 degrees. Discover the fabulous world of the East on the shores of the Arabian Sea.

Among many travelers and vacationers, Egypt has long ago become quite a popular and widespread holiday in January, and this is thanks to the fairly warm weather and favorable pricing policy. On January days in Egypt the weather is usually hot, complemented by a light breeze; by midday the temperature reaches +25°C. The shores of the Red Sea warm up to temperatures of +18, +20°C. Egyptian hotels of the 4-5 star category create swimming pools with additional heating for a comfortable stay for their clients.

Of course, you want to celebrate the New Year 2018 in such a way that you will remember this holiday for a long time and be fully prepared for everyday work, having rested one hundred percent!

According to the advice of psychologists, for such purposes, a person is better served by rest and a change of environment, that is, travel. It is not necessary to come up with some kind of extra-ordinary program that will eat up a lot of money and time while preparing for your vacation. You can go on a more budget-friendly trip without missing out on anything. Our article today will help you decide where to go on vacation in January 2018, and we will start with a vacation in Russia.

Where can you relax in Russia in January 2018?

According to expert estimates, in 2018, traveling around will become much more important than traveling abroad, for several reasons. Firstly, Russia is a huge country, and it will be very useful for our people to know its culture and traditions, because they are different in every corner of the country. Well, secondly, due to the unstable economic and political situation in the country, some traditional tourist destinations, which were once the center of Russian foreign tourism, have simply lost their relevance. Therefore, Russians are looking for a worthy replacement for such trips, and our country can satisfy almost any taste, taking into account different levels of wealth and love of adventure.

This coming January, we recommend that you visit Moscow or St. Petersburg (unless, of course, you are residents of these megacities) - these are some of the most beautiful cities in our country. But, for example, in Kazan or Veliky Novgorod you will plunge into the traditional atmosphere of these regions. In turn, Veliky Ustyug will be a wonderful adventure for families with children.

Beach holidays abroad in January 2018

Cuba

For those who still want to go somewhere further away, you can consider as an option a trip to Cuba. This country has long become synonymous with freedom and eternal summer. As a rule, here on New Year the thermometer does not drop below +20 degrees. For a change of scenery, such a trip will come in handy.

Thailand

This country will not let you freeze or get bored. Winter in Thailand lasts at +30 degrees, and the entertainment program for tourists is simply stunning in its originality and difference from other parts of the world. In addition, a January trip to Bangkok will be relatively inexpensive.

Maldives

A trip to the Maldives will cost much more than to the above-mentioned corners of the globe, but it is definitely worth it. It is perhaps impossible to find a person who would refuse on the shores of the Indian Ocean. Remember that you can save money on such a trip if you are lucky enough to catch “hot tours”.

Sri Lanka

You can have a good rest at sea in January 2020 on the island of Ceylon. This year we traveled around the island for a whole month - we really enjoyed it. Nature there is just space!

Weather. It is relatively cool on the island in January: during the day on the coast +27...+30°C, the sea +28°C, in the evenings it is warm +24°C, but mosquitoes interfere with walks. Rains are rare and short-lived.

Things to do. What impressed us most about Ceylon was the nature: we went on a safari and it was very inexpensive and very exciting. Be sure to go to the mountains, to the village - this is Heaven on Earth. Also try surfing or fishing. In Ratnapura you can go down into the mines and see how sapphires are mined. Where to go in January without a visa

Where else can you have a good rest by the warm sea in January 2020? Here is a list of suitable destinations where you can go without a visa or with simplified entry:

Where to have an inexpensive holiday in January 2020

Below I will list countries where you can inexpensively go on vacation abroad in January 2020. Here are the current prices for tours for two with departure from Moscow:

  • . Consistently the cheapest tours! From 16,000 rubles.
  • - from 30,000 rubles.
  • - from 32,000 rubles.

Let's be honest, hardly anyone loves January. The holidays are over, we continue to suffer from a New Year's hangover, and we don't really want to go to work. You have two options for how to spend this not the most pleasant month. You may be trying to shed the pounds you gained over the holidays and feeling sad about getting back into a routine. Or you can go on a trip. January is not a tourist season. So, first of all, flying somewhere at this time is cheap. And secondly, you can safely buy tickets to anywhere in the world.

1. Lanzarote, Canary Islands

It's no secret that winters in the Canaries are warm and sunny. If you decide to spend your January here, do not rush to go to the popular resorts of the eastern part of the Canaries. Go to the Western Islands. Most of the landscaping here was designed by local architect Cesar Manrique. The islands owe him their main attractions: a cactus park and a house that the architect built for himself. However, the main thing to admire here is nature. In particular, volcanoes. Timanfaya National Park is known for its colorful hills of volcanic soil. If you don't feel like climbing mountains, try scuba diving into the underwater world.

2. Silver Lake, Los Angeles

The Venice of California area is getting cooler every year. Now this is definitely the place to come to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and a break from the chic of Los Angeles. There are no beaches here, but the spirit of a relaxed holiday is in the air: houses on the slopes of green hills and palm trees along the boulevards with vintage T-shirts and vinyl records. Silver Lake has plenty of farmers' markets and surf shops, graffiti shops and eateries. It's eternal summer, hip-hop and fun (even in January).

3. Barbados

“Beach, food, alcohol and dancing,” Rihanna sang about her perfect day in Barbados. The relaxed atmosphere of the Caribbean islands will take over you as soon as you arrive here. Holidays on the glamorous west coast are luxurious and deserve all five stars. But the further south you go, the more you feel the local flavor: cozy restaurants, fresh seafood dishes and the sounds of reggae coming from everywhere. If you like a more relaxed holiday, the east coast is for you. You can also come here for cool surfers and white sand beaches. In January, the rainy season ends in Barbados, which means you can fully enjoy the warmth and sun.

4. Cape Verde

Cape Verde is a small cluster of volcanic islands almost a thousand kilometers from Senegal in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. But believe me, you should come here: miles of ivory beaches, perfect waves for surfing and incredible scenery. Although Cape Verde is close to the equator, the average temperature in January is 25˚C. And another huge advantage of the evergreen island is the presence of eco-hotels that can compete with both budget and upscale hotels. They run entirely on renewable energy sources. So if you want not only to have a good rest, but also to help preserve nature, then Cape Verde is an ideal option.

5. Montreal, Canada

If partying outside in sub-zero temperatures sounds appealing to you, come to Montreal. The annual street festival Igloofest brings together all those who like to dance (and freeze) to the songs of the coolest performers. In addition, Montreal's snow-covered French-style buildings look mesmerizing. To fully enjoy the beauty of the city, you can climb Mont Royal. If you're pining for the hipsters of the 2000s, Montreal has a reminder of their culture: hot smoked meat sandwiches and bagels (even better than New York's). You can also try poutine, Quebec's national fast food made from French fries (and not what you think).

6. China

There are almost no tourists in China in January - strong cold winds blow here at this time. So you will have a great opportunity to quietly view the main attractions: the Terracotta Army and the Great Wall of China. By the way, covered with snow, they look even more fascinating. In January, hotel prices are significantly lower than usual. Therefore, you can spend the money you save on restaurants serving national cuisine. For example, try baozi - local dumplings with broth inside. In January, China hosts the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, which is included in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest. At night, the ice sculptures are illuminated, which looks very impressive. If you decide to watch this, be sure to dress warmly. Temperatures can reach –24˚C.

7. Panama

If you want a great beach photo, the easiest place to get it is in Panama. Yes, this resort is not as popular as neighboring Colombia and Costa Rica. But there are many beautiful beaches here, since this is a small state: a thin strip of land between the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. There are many islands near Panama. For example, the San Blas archipelago. Unlike many resort islands that cater exclusively to tourists, San Blas will have the indigenous Kuna tribe living next door to you. There are no luxury villas here, but there are bungalows with thatched roofs, like the locals.

8. Val d'Isere

In mid-January, all New Year holidays end and no school holidays are expected. So you can safely go to European ski resorts. In particular, in Val d'Isere. And not just for the best slopes on the entire continent. But also for the sake of realizing that this ski resort is located not far from sunny Saint-Tropez. Over the past five years, many hotels have appeared in the city: from hotels with regular rooms to hotels with chalets. Most of them have a cable car nearby, so you can easily climb up the mountains for a ride.

9. Porto, Portugal

Without a doubt, Portugal is an amazing country. The record 20 million tourists who visited last year will likely confirm this. In January, you should not go to Portugal for a beach holiday; you are unlikely to get a tan. But you can enjoy a mild and warm winter. Moreover, prices at this time are lower than usual. Porto, once a typical small European city, has experienced a dramatic revival over the past few years. The once quiet medieval streets are filled with cafes. The old buildings have now been renovated and furnished as hotels by local designers.

10. Paddington, Australia

If you love the relaxed, cosmopolitan feel of Sydney but find it too modern for your tastes, then Paddington is the perfect holiday destination. This beautiful city is just as noisy and fun as Sydney. And just as cozy as in small towns with colorful Victorian-style houses. Paddington's main pedestrian street, Oxford Street, is no different from other similar streets: there are many cafes, pubs and shops. But if you turn off Oxford, you'll find exhibitions by local artists and studios by Australian designers in the side streets. In January the weather in Australia is great (as is the case at any other time of the year). But only in January does Sydney host the International Arts Festival, which is worth visiting at least once in your life.

11. Nicaragua

This Central American country has it all: tropical forests and pristine beaches, volcanoes and unusual eco-hotels. And although Nicaragua is truly a paradise, it also has a rainy season. That is why it is worth coming here in January, because at this time there is almost no precipitation. Just be careful. You may not want to go back once you find yourself in Nicaragua.

12. Brazil

Celebrate New Year's in Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo and go to the coast for a couple of weeks. Even if you spend your entire year's savings on this trip, it will be worth it. Everything here is exactly as you imagined. Several kilometers of deserted beaches with golden sand, palm trees and turquoise waves. This is best enjoyed in the small coastal town of Transoco or on the islands of Biopeba and Tignare, where it is calm and free of traffic.

13. Myanmar

Myanmar seems magical at any time of the year. But it’s especially good here in January (little rain, a lot of sun and warmth). Myanmar mesmerizes with its pagodas and temples in the misty Himalayas and captivates with its pristine tropical islands.

14. Gold Coast, Australia

If you want to start the year brightly, you need to go to Australia. First head to Sydney for the best New Year's Eve parties, then head up the east coast. It's beautiful: the Gold Coast, the Great Barrier Reef, Byron Bay. In January there is no heat and no annoying tourists. So you can fully enjoy the gorgeous beaches, delicious food and beautiful private islands.

15. Belize

It's hot, humid and rainy here. Moreover, Belize is often subject to hurricanes and tropical storms. But we hope that this information did not confuse you too much. In fact, Belize is a Caribbean paradise in the middle of the jungle with stunning beaches. If you get tired of sunbathing, go see the Mayan ruins. The best time to come to Belize is in January or February. It is not too hot or humid here at this time.

16. Thailand

This heavenly place is especially beautiful in January. Yes, at this time there are a lot of tourists here, but not as many as during the New Year holidays. In Thailand, it is worth visiting both the capital and the islands along the Andaman coast: Phi Phi Phi, Phuket and Koh Lanta. If you want to go to the eastern islands of Koh Samui, Phangan and Koh Tao, it’s better to wait until March, since due to the rainy season in January you won’t be able to sunbathe there.

17. South Africa

This small Belgian town is one of those rare places that is charming at any time of the year. It can be described in the words of the hero of the film “Lie Down in Bruges”: “A damn fairy tale.” It's worth coming here for fries, beer and snowy winter. In addition, snow and frost are an excellent reason to linger in some bar with Belgian beer or in an antique store. Bruges has many beautiful hotels lined along canals and atmospheric restaurants where you can dine by candlelight. Be sure to try the moule frit (a local dish of mussels and fries). It is enough to spend only a few days in Bruges. But during this time you will have time to enjoy the charm of the city and gain a few extra pounds.

19. Mexico

The Mexican winter has everything that ours lacks: warmth, a riot of colors and an abundance of exotics. Parties on the beach, yoga in the shade of trees, swimming in cenotes. Chances are you, like us, will fall in love with the spirit of Tulum and the small island of Holbox, where everyone walks around barefoot. There are different ways to relax in Mexico. If you want to enjoy colonial architecture, go to Merida. And if you want to lie on the beach, then Sayulita is the best place for this. In any case, the weather on both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts is wonderful: warm and almost cloudless.

20. Rajasthan, India

It is also worth going to the Indian state of the Raj in January. At this time it is warm and not too many tourists. So you can fully enjoy the unusual architecture, similar to the sets of Bollywood films. Don't forget to visit the top treasures of India: Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. Save space on your phone for some forgotten attractions: the Jal Mahal Palace or the lost city of Bhangarh. Rajasthan is also worth traveling to in January because this time is ideal for an Arabian Nights safari in Jaisalmer (this city is located in the middle of the desert). There you can ride camels and, like a real Bedouin, spend the night under the open sky.
