And for the subsequent dismantling, the builders allegedly laid a nuclear charge under each building. But this theory is easily refuted by critics. At the site of a nuclear explosion, even a small one, there should be elevated level radiation. But it was not observed.

And only aboard four planes from Newark, Logan and Dulles airports did it go completely wrong - they were captured almost simultaneously shortly after takeoff. They were not chosen by chance - due to the considerable length of the routes, there was a large amount of fuel on board the aircraft - about 30-35 tons of aviation kerosene.

Until now, experts have failed to come to a consensus on how nineteen terrorists were able to hijack four huge airliners. Some argue that ordinary stationery cutters were used for this, with which the terrorists long time trained before going into business. Others believe that tear gas was also used - a report about this received from the pilot of one of the hijacked aircraft.

An attempt was made by the passengers and crew of one of the aircraft to regain control of the aircraft, as a result of which the terrorists' plans were thwarted - the aircraft fell on a field in Pennsylvania. The terrorists and everyone on board were killed.

The second plane was aimed at the Pentagon building near the city of Washington. The terrorists managed to carry out their plan and crash into the Pentagon. However, the location for the terrorist attack was not chosen very well - it was in this wing that repairs were being carried out at that time. Therefore, the number of victims turned out to be relatively small - not counting the terrorists, passengers and crew members on board, just over a hundred people died. If the plane crashed into the building from the other side, the number of victims would increase at least several times.

But, of course, the most terrible and memorable events of the 2011 terrorist attack took place in New York. It was here that two Boeing 767-200 aircraft, numbered N334AA and N612UA, headed. Their targets were the well-known Twin Towers that housed the World Trade Center.

The first crashed into the north tower at about 8:46 am at 94-98 floors.

The second crashed into the south tower at 9:03 am. It was directed lower - approximately at the level of 78-85 floors. Since television crews had already arrived at the scene, in a hurry to film the scene of the first explosion, the second terrorist attack was filmed from several angles.

As a result of the aircraft hitting the building, a fire started - it was no coincidence that aircraft with a large amount of fuel on board were chosen. Tens of tons of fuel, splashing out from punctured tanks, flooded many floors. And because of a powerful blow that damaged the supporting structures, the buildings began to collapse rapidly.

The tower, the first to be attacked by terrorists (north), collapsed at 10:28. This happened because of the fire, which was extinguished only after 102 minutes.

The South Tower collapsed much faster - already at 9:56 am, and the fire lasted only 56 minutes.

However, the attack had further consequences. Powerful explosions in the attacked buildings led to gas explosions in another tower - WTC-7 - and a powerful fire began, which could not be quickly stopped. As a result, it collapsed at 17:20.

The number of victims

As mentioned above, the total number of terrorists on board the four aircraft was 19. Of course, they all died.

The terrorists who hijacked United Flight 93, which crashed in a field near Washington, failed to complete their task. Therefore, only passengers and crew members died - the total number of victims was 40 people.

The actions of terrorists who chose the Pentagon as their target turned out to be more effective. In addition to the 59 passengers and members on board, 125 people died in the building.

We have already encountered a situation when the White House "knew for sure" that Saddam Hussein was developing weapons of mass destruction, Muammar Gaddafi was sponsoring international terrorism, and Bashar al-Assad was using chemical weapons.

None of these charges have ever been confirmed. However, these suspicions became a pretext for the US-sanctioned use of armed forces in Iraq, Libya and Syria. It is expected that after the events of September 11, the Americans intensified military operations in Afghanistan.

Immediately after the explosions, the head of Al Qaeda * Osama bin Laden declared his innocence in the attacks. Unusual behavior for a person who always gladly took responsibility for terrorist attacks that were carried out with his participation. Strange destruction

Probably not everyone knows that during the attack on New York, three buildings of the World Trade Center (WTC) collapsed. In addition to the well-known twin towers No. 1 and No. 2, there was also a skyscraper No. 7. The government commission, set up to investigate the events of 9/11, chose to remain silent about this fact. House at number 7 is a 47-storey high-rise, noticeably inferior to its twin brothers in height.

It, in particular, housed the New York branch of the CIA headquarters. This building escaped being hit by an airplane, but by 5 pm it collapsed in the same way as the twin towers.

The building collapsed as a result of burning fragments that fell on it from crumbling skyscrapers, as well as the ensuing fire, authorities said. However, much closer to the towers were the WTC buildings numbered 3, 4, 5 and 6, and they all survived. Maybe there was another reason for the fall of the 7th house?

As for the Twin Towers, researchers are still concerned with an interesting question: why did not only the upper floors of the building collapse, but also the lower ones? The official version is relentless: when the building was destroyed, the top carried away the rest of it.

However, a discrepancy arises here too. Parts of the tower's structure did not fall in different directions, but folded right under the base, like a house of cards.

The designers of the World Trade Center all as one declare that during the construction of high-rises, the possible hit of an airplane was taken into account, as is the case with all skyscrapers. If a catastrophic scenario does occur, then, according to them, it cannot lead to destructive consequences of this magnitude.

The disaster footage clearly shows that the planes crash into buildings in completely different ways: the liner entered the northern tower right in the center, into the southern tower at an acute angle, chopping off the edge of the skyscraper. At the same time, the destruction of the towers was surprisingly uniform and symmetrical, as in a prepared explosion. And then a strange thing happens: the southern tower, which was less damaged by the explosion, collapses first, and only half an hour later the northern one falls, where the consequences of the catastrophe should have been more impressive.

Experts analyzed the video of the collapse of the towers and almost unanimously stated that this is how the industrial demolition of buildings occurs. Indeed, if you carefully look at the slow motion footage of the disaster, you can see how blast waves run across the entire height of the building at equal distances - as if a pre-laid charge had been detonated.

Here are two more facts that will make you think. Shortly before the terrorist attack, the floors, into which the planes subsequently flew, were closed for repairs. And a few weeks before the tragedy, the owner of the twin towers, Larry Silverstein, insured them for $ 3 billion, and insurance against terrorist attacks was spelled out as a separate item.

Selective fire

If you believe the official conclusions, then in a monstrous fire, hundreds of thousands of tons of steel structures were melted, and hundreds of tons of concrete were rubbed into dust.

Is it possible that the ignited aviation kerosene, the combustion temperature of which is less than 1000 ° C, made the hardened steel “tremble”, which melts at no less than 2000 ° C. At the same time, there was a critical loss of strength of 50 massive load-bearing beams at once, which is possible only if the fuel is evenly spread over all floor areas.

As a result of the explosions, charred and unidentifiable body particles were left from the passengers of both Boeings. Meanwhile, the passport of Mohammed Atta, one of the hijackers of the plane, which became one of the main pieces of evidence in favor of the guilt of Al Qaeda *, was completely unharmed. According to the commission, the document miraculously survived a powerful explosion, fell out of the plane and landed safely near the building.

The US government was in such a hurry to come to the right conclusion that it was not even going to pay attention to such incidents. Further more.

The Commission of Inquiry announced the identification of some of the passengers and crew members of the aircraft by "DNA remnants." And this is after the fire practically completely destroyed the hull of the liner, made of high-temperature resistant aircraft aluminum.

It is curious that despite the fantastically preserved "remnants of DNA", the black boxes were declared completely destroyed by the fire. Looking at this, it remains only to believe that the fire acted selectively, completely not being guided by the laws of the physical world.

No trace

The third hijacked Boeing, flying American Airlines Flight 77, crashed into the Pentagon, according to official figures. In order to inflict the most sensitive damage to the building and people, the terrorists sent the liner along the lowest possible trajectory. It is known that the height of the Boeing 757 is 13 meters, the Pentagon is 24 meters.

Based on this, the final kilometers of the liner flight had to pass at an altitude of only a few meters above the ground, which is an almost impossible task for pilots who have just completed express courses.

Moreover, such a maneuver was absolutely unjustified, since, in the opinion of many experts, it would not have led to such damage as if it fell at an angle. It would be difficult even for an inexperienced pilot to miss in this case, given the impressive area of ​​the Pentagon - 117 363 sq. M. It turns out that the terrorists, who carefully planned the terrorist attack, chose a more complicated and less effective path.

However, the main incident lies ahead. Independent researchers studying photographs of the crash were alarmed by the fact that the Boeing, when it hit a building, did not leave traces of its wings. No debris was found nearby. Moreover, there were no hints of aircraft fragments inside the destroyed section of the building. According to official conclusions, all of them were destroyed by a powerful explosion and fire, which is very doubtful.

All of the above facts suggest another reason for the destruction at the Pentagon - a planned explosion. But if we assume that the Boeing 757 did not crash into the Pentagon, where did the car itself with the passengers and crew of this ill-fated flight disappear?

As for the fourth Boeing, which did not make it to the Capitol and fell in the fields of Pennsylvania, there are fewer questions for him. However, there are still inconsistencies. The authorities claim that the death was caused by the impact on the ground, but they could not find any significant number of aircraft fragments at the alleged crash site. Eyewitnesses say the debris was scattered for miles. According to researchers who do not share the official point of view, the liner could have been hit in the air by a missile launched from a fighter jet.

The official version says: passengers, having contacted their relatives by mobile phones, learned that two planes had already crashed into buildings in Manhattan and decided to prevent the hijackers' plans. It was as a result of the struggle that ensued on board, the plane went off course and went into a steep dive. However, experts say that the opportunity to use cellular communication in flight has appeared only since 2005.

Avoid misunderstandings

Everything in this story is alarming, including the behavior of top American officials. Thus, President George W. Bush long ignored the invitation to address the Congress, but when he agreed to the meeting, he put forward conditions that at first glance defy logical explanation. He insisted on limiting the conversation in time - no more than an hour and a mandatory invitation to the event, Vice President Dick Cheney. At the request of the head of the White House from the commission investigating the tragedy, only two people were to be present.

After a lengthy debate, it was still possible to agree on the participation of 10 members of the commission and remove the time limit. During the meeting, everyone expected to hear from the president exhaustive, and most importantly, reliable information about what had happened, but everything turned out to be much more complicated. Bush did not allow video filming, audio recording, or even transcription of the meeting. In addition, Bush and Cheney refused to take an oath to reassure listeners of the truth of what was said.

In April 2004, the performance finally took place. However, to this day it is not known what Bush and Cheney said to the Congressmen. Many people pay attention to the absurdity of this situation. It looks as if one witness agreed to appear in court only in the presence of another witness. Why is this needed? Probably in order to avoid inconsistency in the testimony.

Every year there is a growing conviction in the world that the terrorist attacks were planned by the US special services to justify the actions of the American military in the Middle East. But it is too early to draw final conclusions. So far, we can only say with certainty the following: if the US authorities did not organize the attacks themselves, then at least they did not interfere with their planning.

September 11, 2001 became a special day in the history of the United States: until that moment, the country had not been subjected to a massive attack on its continental territory. However, two dozen terrorists were enough to commit the largest terrorist act in history, inflict significant destruction on the business center of New York and destroy the lives of three thousand people. The content of that tragic day consisted of five events in which three buildings and four aircraft were involved.

Event 1

The main event is the destruction of the two twin towers of the World Trade Center (each with a height of 110 floors), which occurred sequentially at 9 hours 59 minutes local time (south tower) and 10 hours 28 minutes (north tower). The collapse of the Twin Towers was the result of a battering ram committed by two captured suicide bombers by passenger aircraft. The collisions led to a severe fire and damage to the supporting structures of the towers, which together led to a chain reaction - the upper floors (those that were above the collision site) collapsed on the lower ones, they could not withstand the load and the buildings collapsed entirely. There is a popular alternative theory according to which the collapse of the towers only as a result of collisions with planes was impossible, and there was a pre-planned demolition of buildings from the inside.

Event 2

American Airlines Flight 11 is the first aircraft hijacked by terrorists on the morning of September 11th. The plane was en route from Boston to Los Angeles and was hijacked at 8:14 am. By the way, later it turned out that the terrorists' luggage was checked additionally upon landing, but no suspicious items were identified. After the hijacking, the terrorists announced to the passengers that the plane had been hijacked and was returning to the airport to make some demands. The US authorities received information about the hijacking of the aircraft, but the radar transponder was disabled on board, so it was not known exactly where Flight 11 was headed. 8 hours 46 minutes crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center. Until the second attack, this incident was considered an aircraft accident.

Event 3

United Airlines Flight 175 - also en route from Boston to Los Angeles and was hijacked between 8:42 a.m. and 8:46 a.m. The terrorists killed the commander and co-pilot and abruptly changed course. This was noticed by the dispatchers who tried to contact the aircraft, but no one answered them. On its way to the World Trade Center, the plane almost collided twice in the air with other planes - this was avoided only thanks to a preliminary warning from the air traffic control service about the "unguided plane". In order to hit the south tower, the terrorists made a sharp turn in the most last moment... The collision itself took place at 9 hours 3 minutes in the morning and was practically shown in live to the whole world (the first such precedent in history) - television broadcasts began in connection with the incident with the north tower. There were 65 people on board the plane, including terrorists.

Event 4

American Airlines Flight 77 en route from Washington to Los Angeles and was hijacked by five terrorists about half an hour after takeoff. At 9 hours 37 minutes in the morning, purposefully crashed into the Pentagon building, located in Arlington, a suburb of Washington. A total of 189 people died - 64 people aboard the aircraft, 125 of those who were in the building of the US Department of War. There is a version according to which the Pentagon was a backup target of the terrorists and was chosen for the attack only after the terrorist who controlled the plane could not find the visual coordinates of the main target - the White House.

Event 5

United Airlines Flight 93 was the last aircraft hijacked by terrorists. The terrorists established control over him at 9 hours 28 minutes in the morning and turned the plane from its previous course to San Francisco in the opposite direction, to Washington. However, the passengers of the plane managed to contact their relatives by phone, who informed them about the fate of other hijacked planes (by that time, collisions with the twin towers and the Pentagon had already occurred). In this situation, the hostages tried to regain control of the plane, which, according to the investigation, was supposed to hit either the Capitol or the White House. As a result of the fight between the terrorists and the hostages, Flight 93 crashed in Pennsylvania, with 37 passengers (including four terrorists) and crew members on board.
