At each intersection, they tried to follow the signs on the poles, at first we succeeded. However, they were not always there, and after 10 minutes we were completely confused. The first 40 minutes were spent on stupid throwing through the streets and squares of the city, but we did not manage to go on our own to the highway to Kastoria.

They began to ask the locals for directions, pointing their finger at the map. They smiled and gesticulated actively, but things didn't go any further. Some sent in one direction, others showed the opposite direction. The tanker generally sent the map on the way back.

How they got there is still a mystery to me. We strayed for about an hour and a half, it was a pity for the time and effort spent.

Then everything went like clockwork. The road goes along the expressway, paid twice. Whoever is having difficulty is not afraid. Do as everyone else and there will be no problems. Not knowing the cost, we just held out a bigger bill and received change. There are real people, not machines. When leaving, you don’t need anything, it’s hard to understand where the paid section ends.

The track itself is chic - wide, multi-lane, signs at every corner. Therefore, although I am not a fan of fast driving, I added gas and walked almost all the way at a speed of 120 - 140 km / h.

Cafes and toilets every 5 km. I didn't see any inspectors all day long. There were few cars, and in some places there were none at all, which is surprising for such a large freeway.

We refueled twice, there are no problems with this, they stand on every corner. In total, we drove 1240 km, the path is not short, but comfortable, so I recommend it - there is nothing complicated, especially if there are two drivers.

Buying a fur coat: shops in Kastoria

We arrived in Kastoria for lunch. I must say right away that we did not have any specific plan, as well as the addresses of "cunning" factories and shops. I found out that my friend was planning to buy a fur coat in Greece already on the spot, so I didn’t read any reviews and forums, I didn’t even have an idea how much fur pleasure costs. After two hours, we got tired and sat down in a cafe to have lunch, take a breath and take stock. Our Natalya continued to dream of fur coats left in the pavilion outside the city, so we decided not to tempt fate anymore, to return and after a good bargain, buy a mink coat there.

However, Hurray! He still gave up, after which they laughed together, bought a mink coat, arranged tax free and warmly parted with sincere wishes for a successful trade.

Satisfied, in a good mood, we set off on our way back.

Paid parking incident

The journey home passed without incident. Fatigue was not critical, so we decided to stop by Notos galleries, a well-known shopping center in Thessaloniki, on the way, we wanted to buy a branded bag and wallet.
