For some reason, I was not even alarmed by the fact that 16 people flew us on the plane, but then they told me that Ramadan is now in the UAE and there are almost no tourists at this time. I will say right away that I bought a ticket a day before departure, I wanted to take the children to the sea, the closest where you could fly where it turned out to be the United Arab Emirates.
Arrival:
We arrived at the Dubai airport in the evening, met the guide, put them in the car, drove to the hotel on the "Minibus" in 1 hour 20 minutes, dropped off some tourists in the "Marina". The guide did not go to the hotel with us, said that there would be no problems with check-in and left somewhere along the way.
Check in:
We arrived at the hotel late, nobody speaks RUSSIAN. They settled in immediately, there is no tax in Sharjah, they did not take a deposit. We fed dinner, we took breakfast and dinner. There is only one man in the hotel who speaks Russian, works at the reception (not always more often at night), no one else from the staff will understand you (if you are not fluent in English).

The rooms are already old, a lot of wood and carpets already have a specific smell, I was very worried, since the child is allergic, but nothing happened. We lived on the 5th floor. Room with two single beds. There are no balconies at this hotel, the window opens only on request. In the morning, the hotel manager came, we did not understand each other, but after his arrival they immediately brought the child a small bed. The room has an electronic safe, a mini fridge (we had an empty one), bathrobes, slippers, shampoo, shower gel, hair balm, soap, body lotion, everything was left in large quantities. There is an ironing board and iron. Cleaning every day, there are no problems with towels, bedding was also changed every day. Also a TV with two Russian channels, a kettle, water, tea cafe, sugar, cream. Take an adapter with you or you will have to buy there, there are many sockets, only there was one adapter in the room, the second was bought.
Hotel:
The hotel is small in terms of territory, only to live and eat in it, there is nothing more to do on the first floor of a huge waterfall, which during the first nights prevented sleep from the sound of water and prayers, we got used to it in 5.2 days, the elevators arrive quickly.
Beach:
The beach is very fine, fine sand, the entry into the sea is smooth for children, super. Clean, the only port nearby is right through the breakwater, it's a little strange when huge ships arrive, but we didn't see any mud. There are not very many sun beds and umbrellas (but there were 15 people who have a rest, I will repeat myself because Ramadan, so we had no problems, but when the hotel was busy, I think not everyone would be enough. In our period, there was not even a bar on the beach and there was a problem with water, went to buy in the store. Near the pool everything was closed, except for the wooden slide on the beach, there was nothing for the children to do. At the sea during this period it was possible to stay only until 12.00. heatwave and then only after 16.00. The pool is not very large and is small for children with a small canopy. Near the hotel:
In the evenings we walked on foot in "Sharjah" knew everything around !!! There is a port nearby, if there are a lot of Indians and fishing boats walking along the embankment, the smell is very bad and strong. There was a mosque next to the hotel and they constantly turned on prayers very often and very loudly, they even interfered with our sleep. Not far away 5 minutes on foot and you are in a large food supermarket, it works around the clock, but all the other shops opened only after 19.00, along the way there are many cafes and shops, pharmacies, markets, if you forgot something, be sure to buy it. Air conditioners work very hard in stores, you go in and freeze. The weather was very hot. You can't eat on the streets, even chew gum for a child, drink water too, you had to cover the child with a jacket and give him something to drink.
Nutrition
In the hotel restaurant, a festive dinner began at 19.00 and all the locals came, celebrated, there were a lot of people, and after that at 21.00 a regular dinner for the residents of the hotel began. In terms of nutrition, we are not very picky, breakfasts are ordinary eggs, cereals, cereals, although the juice is very tasty and freshly dug, local sausage and cheese, toast, vegetables, fruit salad, it was always, there was not enough fruit only for breakfast watermelon cantaloupe and canned peaches, on dinner fruit at all was not twice seen a couple of oranges and apples. For dinner, there was always chicken, meat, sometimes fish, mashed potatoes, salads, really awful, and very often there were a lot of flies around them. There were not many sweets, one cake and jelly, pasta, potatoes, some dishes were very spicy.
Eviction:
Check-out at 12.00, we paid extra and spilled us without any problems, since the departure was after 16.00 and we didn't want to sit at the reception with the children.
Not pleasant:
In the evening, I sat with two children on the couch directly opposite the reception, were going to go for a walk, went out the door and remembered that the children had forgotten their sunglasses and baseball caps on the table, they returned in less than 2 minutes, but nothing happened. The girls from the reception turned away from me and showed with gestures that they did not understand me (although there is even a camera there), it’s a pity that the children were upset, but it became not pleasant anymore, then they were smarter and more attentive to things. At the hotel, no one will explain or tell you anything, the staff does not speak Russian and are not very friendly.
Where to go:
My 5-year-old eldest child and I took a taxi to the aquarium in Sharjah, we were there ONE ONE, he really liked it, and went to the museum nearby, the ticket is common. In Ramadan, there is no one anywhere, emptiness is everywhere, but see the schedule on the Internet, everything works according to a different schedule. True, they barely found a taxi back, because by the time it was time for prayers, there were about 20 cars, but they could not go until they all read long prayers. I had to go out on a huge track and catch a car there. I went everywhere alone with a child in a taxi, all according to the meter, there were no seats, I was holding the little one in my arms for 2 years. The stroller is put in the trunk, in all taxis it is empty. We also went to the amusement park and to the market for locomotives, they also took a taxi by themselves and walked everywhere, they took all the information from the Internet, a lot of things were closed during this period of Ramadan, for example, we never got to the fountains.
