We visited the hotel in mid-September and found only three hot days, the rest of the time was cool, especially in the evenings. The wind was either too strong or too weak, so the place is not suitable for windsurfing or other aquatic species sports.

A very large selection of delicious breakfast items. At dinner, you are invited to try the cuisine different countries: from Greek salad to pizza and sushi. Upon arrival, our room was upgraded, in the end we lived in a large two-room suite overlooking the sea. A varied entertainment program was provided every evening, such as Cuban dancing, live music and acrobatic shows. As for food, in addition to the main restaurant, you can have a very tasty lunch at a restaurant by the sea, as well as drink a variety of cocktails at the pool bar. My room (a standard bungalow for two) had a very tiny balcony. The hotel photo probably shows a different room. In addition, there was some inconvenience caused by the strange location of the faucet in the bathroom, which made it difficult for guests to both take a bath and stand under the shower. For dinner, it would be nice to add regular tea to the herbal tea on offer.

The hotel occupies a large area and is more of a small town / village. Has two own beach and a very well-developed infrastructure: several swimming pools, bars, restaurants, sports and stage grounds, a cinema, shops, a spa. Free Wi-Fi of good quality in the rooms, in the hotel lobby. The hotel was pleasantly surprised by the very good offer of buffet meals for both breakfast and dinner. The downside of the large territory of the hotel is its remoteness from settlements, so lovers of evening walks around resort town you will need a car or a taxi, which can be easily arranged by the concierge. We liked the room, comfortable terrace, wonderful sea view. The food is beyond praise. Large area of ​​the hotel, there is where to walk. Daily entertainment programs. It is very pleasant that for those who visit the hotel not for the first time, a pleasant compliment from the hotel awaits in the room. What was important for us - good sand beach where there are enough sun loungers and umbrellas for everyone. You go to the beach every day with a fresh beach towel. Good entrance to the sea. Many opportunities for those who love sports. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. Although we didn't use it, the hotel has a Russian speaking PR representative. We spent a wonderful week at Kalimera Kriti.

Cons usually stem from pros. The territory is large, so you have to invest a lot, but not enough for everything. We lived in a bungalow. We really like this type of accommodation. The decoration in the traditional style is great. Please do not change this furniture! She's great. Only the upholstery of the seats is badly worn out. We were shown a room in a new modern design. We didn't like it. Chipboard furniture. Looks cheap. Our room requires replacement of plumbing and that's it. The bathtub is very old and, apparently, the pavement was being made, but it is yellowed and very rough, like asphalt. Apparently anti-slip? The rest is fine. You can also make sockets near the bed to charge the phone and computer. It would also be nice to put nets on the windows or at least hang second thin curtains (there is a second railing for this), because insects fly in when the windows are open. There were always ants in the bathtub. In the indoor pool, the sun loungers are covered in black mold. They are scary to use. And when you enter the indoor pool, it smells strongly of bleach. It seems to me that there is too much bleach. What else did you dislike? At breakfast there is always a line to cut off the bread, because there is one knife. I think you can put a couple of knives. Didn't like the food in the a la carte restaurant at all. They used to cook well there. There was always fresh fish. We took a kebab, but it was boiled meat, which was then heated in an electric grill. This is not a kebab. And the Greek-style stuffed tomatoes were not Greek at all. Bad rice (parboiled) with no herbs at all, with tomato juice and no oil.

We have traveled to this hotel for many years and are now back after a long hiatus. There are some changes, but more on them later. The hotel has a large, well-groomed area, a beautiful garden, three swimming pools, not counting children's pools, very polite and friendly staff, an excellent sandy beach, clear sea. We had a bungalow overlooking the garden with a terrace with two chairs and a table. You can read, work, drink tea. The room is decorated in a traditional style. We ordered a standard room and it had bathrobes and slippers. This is a plus. This is not the case in all hotels. Perhaps this is because the hotel is a spa. But we didn't go to the spa. The hotel also has a fitness room. He was busy all the time with Russian fencers. But the hall is well equipped now. Previously, there were fewer exercise machines and no one went there. There is no kettle or tumble dryer in the room by default. But we asked and were given them. Thanks a lot to the hotel. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. We liked. There is everything for every taste. The choice of breakfasts is very large: eggs in all types, even poached and protein omelet, meat and cheese cuts, oatmeal porridge with milk and water, yoghurts with and without fillers, very good bread, fruits, freshly baked pancakes (they bake with you), a lot various pastries, milk of all types and fat content, beans, sausages, fresh and stewed vegetables, dried fruits, preserves, jams, honey, Greek pies with herbs and cheese, rice pudding, several types of salted fish, olives, nuts, muesli. And also you can order an omelet and they will make you on special order with what you want: mushrooms, cheese, vegetables, etc. Dinners are also very varied. There are days of French, Italian, Asian cuisine. It is interesting. But connoisseurs are unlikely to like it. The chefs here local kitchen it comes out better. The hotel has mini golf, table tennis, tennis courts. Shallow water stretches quite far off the coast. This is good for those with children. The hotel has its own breakwater, so the sea is often calm. Swimming is safe. A lifeguard is on duty. There are sun loungers and umbrellas.

To get to the room, I had to overcome three flights of steps without ramps, I had to drag a stroller with a sleeping child along them every day. For the sake of fairness, I note that in all the main locations of the hotel you can drive without stairs.

Very comfortable hotel with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Three beaches, with kids, one of them is ideal, where there are no waves and shallow, 5 swimming pools. There is a long walking area along the sea (we walked there with a stroller, putting the baby to bed). Large territory, no crowds of people. On the beach and by the pool there was a place under an umbrella at any time. The restaurant has very high quality and varied food, never had a problem finding a free table. Great animation team (water aerobics, beach volleyball, etc.). There is mini-golf, we enjoyed playing with the children. Not far from the airport (35 minutes) and many interesting places for excursions.
