Lloret de Mar: Real Spain or Resort Spain? The most popular city on the Costa Brava in detail: where to stay, what to see and which beach is best?

Europe, and indeed abroad, began for us precisely from this party place in Spain.

Lloret de Mar perfectly matched our input data: Schengen in the passport, a couple of hundred euros in your pocket and a burning fuse to relax brightly and see sunny Spain.

The history of the former fishing village of Lloret de Mar in Spain today continues, first of all, as a beach-burning resort.

Real life here begins at nightfall: there are more than 400 bars, restaurants and clubs in the city, each of which strives to stand out with an original program and lure tourists into more cocktails 🙂 World-famous DJs, music from the 80s and 90s, salsa motifs, laser shows and themed parties - there is no limit to the entertaining madness. Therefore, basically, the youth contingent from all Europe gathers. By the way, the Germans admiringly call Lloret de Mar the second Spanish Ibiza.

Surprisingly, frequent guests here are also pensioners, who are attracted by inexpensive hotels - good "triples" - and the Mediterranean Sea. By the way, we also rested in 3 stars. Family holidays with children, as practice shows, is also relevant, but only when living in a quiet part of the city near the Fenals beach (Platja de Fenals). There is just a choice of 4-5 * all-inclusive hotels, which is ideal for a trip with a child.

Coming to Spain in Lloret de Mar is definitely worth it for three reasons:

  1. Relaxed rhythm of life on the beach. During the day, everyone relaxes by the sea, at night they gather in nightclubs along the coast.
  2. The city is convenient as a starting point for trips to completely different destinations: shopping outlets, Girona, Barcelona, Andorra and even France.
  3. Well, the main thing is that it is much cheaper to rest here!

Weather in Lloret de Mar - when is the best time to go?

When is the best time to go to Lloret de Mar? High season, in theory, lasts from May to October. In fact, the peak of tourist pilgrimage falls on July-August. We went on a tour in early May, it is cool to swim at this time, but +20 degrees of heat is ideal for walking and lying on the beach. Therefore, we liked visiting Andorra, Montserrat, Barcelona and Girona doubly 🙂

The autumn and spring months are not super popular, then the water does not warm up, then the rain gets wet. However, the weather in Lloret de Mar is conducive beach holiday and these "unclaimed" periods. On the contrary, we advised you to go at this time - tours are much cheaper 🙂 The climate in the region is very mild: in winter, the air temperature even at night almost never drops below +10°C, and in summer you rarely see more than +28°C on a thermometer. Although on our trip on our own in 2017 it was more than +30°C. Once in a while it doesn't have to. We also went to Barcelona in May 2018 and the weather was great! (+21..+24°C)

In principle, everyone sets their own priorities, but, in our opinion, to fully enjoy the picturesque nature of Lloret de Mar - bays with rocks protruding from emerald water, green hills, pine forests - and Spain as a whole will turn out exactly in the initial and final intervals season.

Where to buy tours to Spain? (Costa Brava)

We went on a tour, and at that time it cost a ridiculous amount - about 20,000 rubles for one person for 7 days. Then we went to agencies in search of the cheapest tours, there were no sites for online booking. In 2020, the price tag is slightly higher, but the most profitable offer now you can find it online:

Firstly, the best offers from all tour operators are collected on one site (like on Booking). Secondly, there is no extra charge for the work of a travel agent / rent of premises / cookies in the office. Thirdly, you are the master of your choice, protected from the skillful pressure of third parties 🙂 Read honest reviews about hotels, look at photos and decide whether to take or look further. Often, having seen a tour on the agency’s website and coming to their office, such a price is no longer found. Online, this is not a problem.

Tours to Lloret de Mar in 2020 cost an average of 48,000 rubles per week for two, provided early booking for at least 2 months.

You can count on last-minute tours to the Costa Brava, but, of course, closer to the height of the hot season (July-August). By the way, you can buy a tour to Spain before the start of the season in May even cheaper.

Things to Do in Lloret de Mar

What to see in Lloret de Mar? Excursion tours, will undoubtedly offer a rich program, but you probably know how it usually happens. If not galloping around Europe, then with the delivery to all sorts of places to shake off money 🙂

Building your route is easy. It is in this corner of Spain that, first of all, it is worth seeing the symbol of the city - the Castell de Sant Joan castle, located on a hill. Worthy of attention are the picturesque gardens by the sea of Saint Clotilde, an unusual cemetery (Modernist Cemetery), where you can see the real Catalan Art Nouveau of many family crypts and tombstones, the Maritime Museum in a mansion on the city embankment. Also of interest is the "Cat's House" - a unique museum dedicated to purring animals.

As for the surroundings:

  • Monastery of Montserrat with the Black Madonna- the patroness of Catalonia, towering on the mountains of amazing shape. Here we climbed hiking trails up and saw the monastery from the top of the mountains. Fresh mountain air upstairs 🙂

A little advice: it is better to look for Russian guides on the spot, not from a travel agency. If you are alone, then you can team up with other tourists and in the 4th-6th go to explore places in comfortable conditions, and it will be easier to decide to leave faster or stay easier)

First trip abroad

  • - an hour from Lloret de Mar by bus. We went there for 1 day on our own without guides. We walked around the city, sat in a cafe. A one-way bus ticket then cost around 3-5 euros.

Went for 10 euros round trip to Girona

  • Andorra- it is also advantageous to go here with a personal guide by car (you can use the same one with which you went to Montserrat). Ideal for shopping, walking with mountain views. My friends liked it very much, but they left about 300 euros there, having bought a lot of good clothes.
  • - we went to the capital of Catalonia on a tour from the hotel, I don’t remember the exact cost, but next time I would also gather a company and rent a car. I remember that the bus was not very convenient, you are very dependent on other groups and you are afraid to be late and be left alone. 🙂 We advise anyone to go to Barcelona at least for 1-3 days, now this is our favorite city.

On our first trip, Park Güell was still free

  • Port Aventura- a must visit place if you like amusement parks. So far, while we visited, this is the best and cheapest park in the world 🙂 In the same Universal Studio (were in Los Angeles), there is no such thing. Then (in 2013) a ticket cost about 23 euros, now from 55 euros per adult (although it is worth noting that Ferrari Land has been added). Be sure to ride Shambhala. We rode it as many as 2 times.
  • Church of Sant Romà (Sant Roma) in Catalan Gothic style
  • theater-museum of the genius of surrealism Salvador Dali in Figueres and Pubol Castle(Gala Dali)

With children, you can still go to Water Park, Marineland water park or look at animals in the Aqualeon mini-zoo.

In Spain, tourists will also be interested in numerous sculptures that fascinate with their monumentality. Do not forget to make a wish at the monument to the fisherwoman, and it will surely come true. Donna Marinera is installed at the end of the Central Beach, and next to it is a magnificent Observation deck.

Excursions from Lloret de Mar

We will list the most popular excursions and indicate approximate prices from local travel agencies to make it easier for you to navigate. Of course, the tour operator will ask for a similar trip much more expensive.

Where to go organized from Lloret de Mar?

  • Girona and the Salvador Dali Museum - € 45-50

For comparison: the tour operator this excursion costs €100

What to do besides sightseeing in Lloret de Mar? Spain is traditionally loved for sea waves and sun!

First trip to Europe (Lloret de Mar)

The beaches of the Costa Brava are officially recognized as one of the best in the world. The most popular of them:

  • The central beach of Lloret de Mar, with a length of 1630 m (on the photo is just it). The most noisy, crowded and haunting at night nearby hotels
  • the second largest is Fenals beach, surrounded by pine forest and especially visited by Russian tourists. Here the situation is calmer, and the beach itself is clean and well-groomed.
  • especially beautiful and secluded - Sa Boadeia beach - with a "children's" area in one part of it and a nudist one in the other
  • a cozy beach located on the way to Blanes - Santa Cristina
  • beach in picturesque bay Sa Caleta near Central Beach.

The weather in Lloret de Mar allows you to go to the beaches and “get” a golden tan in the spring, but it’s better to wait until the end of May or the beginning of June with swimming.
The price for an umbrella and sunbed is €14 (7+7).

The best resort hotels

Where to stay? We have made a selection good hotels at the resort. About "all inclusive" and Lloret de Mar: Spain is generally not famous for its quality and adequate cost all inclusive(except Mallorca), so it is better to choose the good old half board (breakfast and dinner) or full board (3 meals a day).

Please note that the price is for a tour for two in the season for 7 nights with a flight from Moscow.

Lloret de Mar - party town on the coast mediterranean sea. Developed tourist infrastructure with many bars and discos, picturesque landscapes, well-maintained beaches, close proximity to Barcelona have made this resort popular among tourists.

“The resort is good. The beaches are clean. Public transport runs regularly. Prices in supermarkets and cafes are low. Complex lunch with a drink - 10 euros. Table wine in the store - 2-4 euros. Everyone is enjoying life and relaxing. Walk down the street even in a bathing suit - no one will look askance.

“We chose Lloret de Mar as the starting point for our travels. The only inconvenient thing is that there is no direct railway connection with the resort. From Barcelona you need to take a train to Blanes for about 1.5 hours, and then change to a bus and go for another 20 minutes. It’s more convenient to take a direct bus from Barcelona.”

If you have a desire to independently travel from Barcelona to Lloret de Mar and back, then read our recommendations. In them you will find a lot of useful things for yourself and learn what you need to pay attention to when traveling in Spain.

Climate

Lloret de Mar, like the entire Costa Brava, differs from other resorts in Spain with a cooler climate. The tourist season here lasts from May to October, when the thermometer is at 25-28°C. Comfortable months for swimming in the sea are from the second half of June to the first half of September.

Temperature forecast for tourist season in Lloret de Mar.

“We always go on holiday at the end of the season. We arrived in Costa Brava in October. In Lloret de Mar, it was already completely empty, which sometimes made me sad. The weather failed: out of 14 days, only 4 were sunny and hot.”

“Arrived in Lloret de Mar in early June. It was too early for swimming. So we took a car and made a tour of Spain. We also swam in the sea, but already at the end of the vacation, when the water warmed up a bit.

Beaches

The central part of the resort is centered around the long (1.5 km), but narrow (40 m) municipal beach Lloret. Nearby stretched for 750 meters along the coast more than calm beach Fenals. There are also small beaches Sa Boadella, Santa Christina, Canyelles. All of them are equipped with showers and changing cabins, you can rent a sun lounger and an umbrella (5 euros). There are conditions for windsurfing and parasailing, water bikes are available for rent.

There are many vacationers on clean and well-groomed beaches.

“The beach has very coarse sand, it is easily shaken off and does not leave dirt. The entry into the sea is smooth, but after 50-100 meters it becomes very deep and a strong current appears. I do not recommend this place for families with children.”

“We often went to Sa Boadella beach. It is small, surrounded by rocks and pine trees. Very beautiful! Nudists are sunbathing on the far side of the beach.”

Sa Boadella beach is surrounded by forest and rocks.

Rental of property

Lloret de Mar is a budget resort with no frills and luxury service. Basically, three-star hotels operate here, which are typical buildings with a small territory and a swimming pool. You can also rent apartments. Fenals is considered to be a fashionable area of the city. We invite you to take a virtual walk through its streets.

“The center seemed very noisy to me. Yes, and there is nothing worth settling for: no shopping, no sights, no authentic restaurants. Therefore, we rented an apartment in the new district of Fenals on the outskirts. Very neat, quiet, green area with nice buildings. Around - picturesque landscapes, a long embankment, a pine grove. There are supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. We walked to the center of the resort on foot, it took 10-15 minutes to walk.

Entertainment

One of the favorite places of entertainment for children and adults is the park of gnomes.

“Lots of cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs everywhere. Prices are very, very affordable, even with the current euro exchange rate. Russian is understood everywhere. The restaurants serve delicious food, and almost everywhere there are great deals on set meals. I liked La Parilla. The portions are huge, so they also bring compliments from the institution. You can go to flamenco at the Grand Casino.

“From the central beach, pleasure boats leave for neighboring Tossa de Mar, Blanes and back. A round-trip ticket costs 15 euros, the swim takes about 50 minutes. I advise you to take a ride to Tossa, to get acquainted with the flavor of Mediterranean Europe.”

Picturesque Tossa de Mar.

“One of the features of the resort is the largest Water World water park in the Costa Brava. There are a lot of slides and other water activities for adrenaline lovers. The coolest is the jumping tower. There is a separate playground for children - a whole island. There are cafes, on the lawns you can sunbathe or have a picnic. So I advise you to go have fun for the whole day. We paid 65 euros for a family ticket (2 adults + child). You can get there by free bus from the bus station.

Attractions

Tourist, devoid of gloss and authenticity, Lloret de Mar, however, is proud thousand years of history. A small fishing village that has grown into a famous resort has its own treasures.

A 10-minute walk from one of the main beaches of Lloret de Mar is this secluded place - Cala dels Frares.

Castle of Sant Joan

Medieval defensive fortress of the XI century.

Fortress of Saint Joan.

“Perhaps this is the main architectural landmark and decoration of Lloret de Mar. The castle was built on a hill, along it a pedestrian road runs in the rock. Climb up to take a photo and look at the wonderful seascape. The entrance to the castle is paid, but inside there is nothing but a spiral staircase. Another symbol of Lloret is the private castle Castel d'en Plaj of modern construction.

Gardens of Saint Clotilde

National treasure of Catalonia. The Renaissance garden was founded at the beginning of the 20th century by the Marquis Roviralt in honor of his late wife.

Marble angels in the pond of the garden of Saint Clotilde.

Alevtina:

“Be sure to take a walk in the wonderful park. The ticket costs 5 euros, but it will more than pay for itself. By the way, my husband and I were offered a discount at the checkout, given our retirement age. Very well maintained old park with many levels, secluded corners, interesting sculptures, fountains. It's so nice to escape the midday heat here. From above, excellent photos of seascapes are obtained. One caveat - the park is located on a slope, there are a lot of stairs.

Statue of Donna Marinerra (fisherwoman)

Bronze sculpture from 1966 by Ernest Maragall. Installed on a rocky elevation above the sea in honor of the wives of sailors.

The statue of a woman is imbued with expectation and anxiety for those at sea.

Olya:

“Previously, the entire male population of Lloret was engaged in fishing. A very touching sculpture conveys the anxiety and hope with which the wives of the sailors went out to the sea and peered into the horizon.”

Modernist cemetery

The rest of the dead are guarded by statues.

“I have never visited cemeteries on vacation, but after reading the reviews, I decided to stop by. You could say it's a museum open sky. Monuments on the graves of noble people are made famous architects. Each tombstone not only bears the name of the deceased, but also indicates the architect or sculptor who designed the burial.”

The theater-museum of Salvador Dali is a place where all the exhibits evoke conflicting feelings. A place thoroughly saturated with the spirit of adoration and worship of the genius Dali to his muse - his wife Gala.

“Most of all I liked two trips - to and to. We got to the museum on our own by bus with a transfer in Girona. To visit the monastery, we first went to Barcelona, from there by train to Montserrat. Both trips to public transport were very tiring. If finances allow, it’s better to take a tour or a taxi.”

shopping

“In Lloret de Mar, you can’t buy anything but magnets. For brands, you should go to the La Rocca Village outlet, which is halfway to Barcelona. This can be done by car or by buying a tour from a tour operator. The operator issues vouchers with a 10% discount and an outlet card.”

Shopping in La Roca Village.

“We went shopping in Andorra. We left at 5:00 am and returned at about 9:00 pm. The bus landed in the capital of the principality, where there are shops of famous European brands. Prices are lower than in Barcelona.”

Drawing conclusions

The resort of Lloret de Mar will also receive your positive feedback if:

  • natural beauty is more important to you than urban architecture;
  • you are ready to save on luxury service;
  • active night life- an obligatory part of your vacation;
  • you plan to travel a lot.

Lloret de Mar from a bird's eye view.

Lloret de Mar is the main resort town on the Spanish Costa Brava, located on the Mediterranean coast of the province of Girona, in the district of La Selva. In general, if you strictly follow the rules of the Spanish reading, then the name of the city will sound “Yoret”, since two Spanish “LL” are read “th”, but since our compatriots know the city called “Lloret de Mar”, then we will speak for understanding.

The peculiarity and unsurpassed beauty of the Costa Brava, which means “Coast of the Brave” or “Wild Coast”, is that throughout the entire territory the spurs of the Pyrenees reach the sea itself, and in some places crash into it. Such beauty is simply breathtaking: the majestic steep mountain cliffs sheerly break into the sea, somewhere creating cozy bays protected from winds and strong waves, small romantic islands, and from the shore, pine and juniper groves rise directly to the water. All this gives an indescribable picturesqueness to the local coastal landscapes, which, according to many seasoned travelers by , make the Costa Brava the most beautiful coast of mainland Spain.

The mountain range of the La Selva district is called the Gavarre Mountains, and it is thanks to them that Lloret de Mar is almost not subject to strong winds, and the climate of the resort town and the capital of the Costa Brava is extremely mild all year round. Lloret de Mar is part of the Catalan Autonomous Community, and is located in the northeast of the Iberian Peninsula. In general, I must say, for those who are going to go to Spanish Catalonia for the first time, that the Catalans do not consider themselves Spaniards, they have their own language, they dream of separating from Spain, so God forbid you call a Catalan a Spaniard. Certainly, Spanish here, as well as Catalan, it is considered official, and you will be understood if you speak it. In Catalonia, all inscriptions and signs are written in two languages, some school subjects are taught in Catalan.

Let's talk about the beaches of the town of Lloret de Mar, there are seven of them. Lloret Beach is the main, the longest one and a half kilometers long, the most crowded beach, due to its location in the very center of the city. It was here that the boats of invaders and pirates used to moor, seafarers and overseas merchants traded outlandish goods here. On the beach, extremely beautiful nature, clean and very coarse sand, sometimes you don’t even understand whether it is sand or small pebbles. The city beach is equipped with everything necessary for a picky vacationer: there is a rental of catamarans, yachts, water skis, there are ticket offices selling tickets for pleasure boats, here, thanks to the marvelous transparency and purity of the water, chic diving and excellent parasailing. You can admire the sea directly from the terraces of numerous coastal bars, excellent restaurants, tourists' cars in the eastern part of the beach there is a large parking lot. From my own experience, I must say that this beach is not very good for small children, or you need to keep them in sight, as it has a rather sharp descent and becomes deep already a couple of meters from the shore.

The next beach Lloret de Mar - Fenals - "Fenals". It is located in a cozy and quiet bay, surrounded by rocky capes with green pine trees, there are no winds at all. The length of Fenals is seven hundred meters, and in cleanliness and comfort it is not inferior to the main beach of the city. Fenals - perfect beach for lovers of a calm and quiet holiday, without the hustle and bustle. The water here is crystal clear, it is advisable to enter the sea in special shoes, because the coast is dotted with small shells. The entrance to the sea is steep, deep water immediately begins, it is worth walking two or three meters. On the beach there is also a rental of sun loungers, umbrellas, from entertainment: jet skis, catamarans, boats with sails, water skiing, parasailing, windsurfing. Tourist boats moor to the Fenals beach, where you can ride around the neighboring cities.

The beach of Santa Cristina - "Santa Cristina" - is small and also not crowded. Like all Lloret beaches, it is very clean. It is located between two large hills, in the western part of the city. It is also protected from waves and winds, and its length is half a kilometer. The sand here is clean and white, and the air is filled with healing pine scent. The beach has a tennis court and car parking.

Another beach in the city of Lloret de Mar - Treumal - "Treumal". It is located behind a small passage from Santa Cristina beach. Treumal Beach is a small cove covered with abundant vegetation, which gives it a wild, completely untouched look. Huge aloes and cacti hang from the surrounding rocks, sprawling pines grow. The waves on this beach are stronger than on other beaches, due to the significant slope of this picturesque bay.

The beach of Sa Boadeia - "Sa Boadella" - is the most beautiful, but its length is only two hundred and fifty meters. An atmosphere of calm reigns here, and the landscape is completely undisturbed by a human hand. Nudists often sunbathe on this beach. Sa Boadeia beach is protected from the wind by high cliffs and a picturesque forest. And pure golden sand with crystal clear water - contribute to a quiet rest from the city noise. There are no standard tourist attractions here, as on other beaches, from the benefits of civilization, only showers and a small bar. It is often recommended for families.

Canyelles Beach - "Canyelles" - stretches for four hundred and fifty meters, it is the furthest from Lloret de Mar, and is surrounded by high cliffs, beautiful vegetation and pine trees. There is a well-equipped, albeit small, port for yachts and boats. And clean and coarse sand, coupled with clear water and fresh air, attracts both ordinary vacationers and fans here. aquatic species sports, and those who are just beginning to comprehend the art of managing boats and yachts, catamarans, canoes. The beach is equipped with awnings, sunbeds, showers. There are several cozy bars and a restaurant.

The last beach of Lloret de Mar - Sa Caleta Beach - "Sa Caleta" - the smallest, it is located immediately behind the main city beach, right at the foot of a high picturesque cliff with castle, medieval style. A beach with golden sand, there are no waves here even with very strong winds.

Lloret de Mar or Lloret de Mar - city and Mediterranean coastal resort belonging to the province of Girona and located on the Costa Brava.

Lloret de Mar is a popular holiday destination and is considered the heart of the party life of the Costa Brava.

The rise of tourism in Lloret de Mar

The first settlers of Lloret de Mar were Iberians who inhabited what is now Catalonia around the 4th century BC.

The Iberians were replaced by the Romans, who established trade relations with neighboring settlements. The first documentary mention of Lloret de Mar dates back to 966.

The current nucleus of the population was formed in the fifteenth century around the beach, at that time located about 1 kilometer from the coast. By the 16th century, the center of the city had moved to the coast.

In the 19th century, Lloret was transformed, receiving a new round in architecture and economy. It was the “epoch of Indianos”, during which many local residents went overseas (America, Cuba, etc.), where they led entrepreneurial activity- traded, engaged in shipbuilding, etc., and then, having become rich, returned to their homeland, but not in the old family houses, but built new ones architectural buildings, at that time a curiosity for the province of Lloret architecture. According to their orders, neoclassical, modernist or eclectic villas were erected in Lloret and the surrounding area, some of which can still be seen today.

As the resort of Lloret began to receive the first foreign tourists in the 50s of the 20th century, then the old estates began to turn into hotels and recreation places, part of the vineyards were urbanized, the beaches were ennobled, the buildings of the central city core were connected with the buildings of the beach areas, and the city itself grew deep into the mainland.

However, the beginning of the development of tourism in Lloret was by no means sudden. Even before the middle of the 20th century, in the twenties and even earlier, rich families from Barcelona liked to spend their summers in the area. Among the most famous vacationers of that era, we should mention the famous Catalan poet Josep Carnera, who in 1919 in the magazine D'ací, d'allà described Lloret de Mar with the epithet "paradise on earth".

Lloret is currently famous resort, which attracts guests both with its beaches, stretching for 9 kilometers along the coast, and the promenade, which is a popular area for walking and relaxing, an abundance of bars and restaurants, thanks to which Lloret received the status of the most party and youth resort of the Costa Brava, as well as a variety of attractions and coastal paths, which previously served as sentinel routes.

The beaches of Lloret de Mar

The city has six sandy beaches, which in the high beach season have all the necessary beach infrastructure to enjoy the sun and the sea in complete comfort.

On the beaches: sun loungers and parasols (average cost 7 Euro per sun lounger or umbrella; 19.50 Euro - two sun loungers and an umbrella), showers and toilets, bins and decks for ease of movement, beach cafe-bars and kiosks with drinks and ice cream. Also on most beaches there are places for water activities.

Lloret de Mar has been awarded four blue flags. They marked: Lloret beach, Fenals beach, Sa Boadels bay and Santa Cristina beach.

In addition to sandy beaches, within Lloret there is a rocky coast, along which there are small bays (semi-wild and wild), where tourists and locals also relax during the season.

Lloret beach (Playa de Lloret De Mar)

Lloret is the central, longest and most popular beach of the resort.

The length of the beach is more than one and a half kilometers, and its average width is 45 meters.

Bay of Bans (Cala Banys)

Buns is a rocky cove located between the beaches of Lloret and Fenals, which, with the bay of Bans, is connected by a hiking trail along the coast.

Bans is well suited for fishing or snorkelling.

In the bay, near the shore, there is a cafe-bar with tables under the open sky and a view of the sea waters.

Fenals beach (Playa de Fenals)

Fenals Beach is the second largest and most popular beach in Lloret de Mar, after the central beach of Lloret.

The length of the beach is 700 meters, and its average width is 45 meters.

Fenals beach is convenient in that it is within easy walking distance from the center of Lloret, but at the same time it is a somewhat calmer and more secluded place than the central beach of Lloret.

Above the line of Fenals beach lies the promenade, where you can find: kiosks with snacks, ice cream and drinks; several cafe-restaurants; sports ground.

Boadella beach (Playa de Sa Boadella)

Boadella Beach or Sa Boadels Bay is a beach-bay located behind the hill with the gardens of Santa Clotilde.

The beach is notable for its untouched nature, as it is located somewhat remotely from the city center (nevertheless, you can walk to the beach from the city center), between two hills that offer beautiful panoramic views of the beach itself and the surrounding area.

The beach has a length of 250 meters and its average width is 40 meters.

Nudism is allowed on the beach.

The beaches of Santa Cristina and Treumal (Playa de Santa Cristina, Playa de Treumal)

Santa Cristina Beach and Treumal Beach are two small beaches located on the western tip of the coast of Lloret de Mar, about 3.5 kilometers from the city center, on the border with Blanes.

The beaches are a single beach strip, where one beach smoothly flows into the other through a gap between two rocks.

Near the beach of Santa Cristina, in a spacious forested area, the 5-star Santa Marta Hotel has direct access to the beach.

Canyelles beach (Playa de Canyelles)

Canyelles Beach is located somewhere 3.5-4 kilometers east along the coast from the city center.

The length of the beach strip is 450 meters. The beach has large pebble sand of light golden color, sea water is clean and transparent. There is a children's playground, cafe and bar.

A distinctive feature of the Canyelles beach is that on its western side there is the only sports port in Lloret de Mar

The bays of the eastern coast of Lloret de Mar

From the central beaches of Lloret, a rocky part of the coast stretches eastward, characterized by small bays framed by coniferous vegetation.

In the bays, stones, pebbles and sand mixed with pebbles.

bays: Cala des Frares, Caleta Safareig d'en Sitre, Cala d'en Trons, Cala sa Tortuga, Cala Gran and Morisca ( Cala Morisca), located on the border of the cities of Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar.

Promenade of Lloret de Mar

The promenade of Lloret de Mar is a long promenade, which is one of the main places for walking and relaxing in the city.
