There are two types of routing: manual and automatic.

  • With manual routing, you plot a series of points on the map, forming an arbitrary route.
  • With automatic compilation, you need to specify the start and end points, and our service itself will lay the optimal route, calculating the shortest path, taking into account the rules of the road and the traffic situation at the moment.

On the compiled route, you will see all highways and nearby intersections, which will be very useful for motorists and travelers. A map with a route in the city of Moscow will allow you to plan a route and will not let you get lost in an unfamiliar place.

To create a route on a map of Moscow, enter the starting point in the first field of the form below and the end point in the second ole. Then indicate how you will travel to the final destination by clicking on the appropriate button - "By car", "On foot" or by Public transport. After that, click on the button "Show route".

Public transport in Moscow is a fairly extensive and developed network of urban passenger transport capital and surrounding areas.

Moscow is a densely populated metropolis, and therefore all types of public transport are represented here. In addition to the well-known Moscow metro, a large number of buses, trolleybuses, trams, minibuses, and electric trains run around the city.

There is also river transport, represented by motor ships and pleasure boats, mainly used by tourists for excursion walks.

All public transport in the capital is managed by Mosgortrans - http://www.mosgortrans.ru/. In the article, we will talk in detail about each type of public transport, timetables and ticket prices, and which public transport is better to choose, for example, in the morning.

Underground

The metro is the most popular way of transportation among Muscovites and guests of the capital.

Half of the total daily passenger traffic passes through it every day.

By the quality of structures, expressiveness architectural ensemble, technical equipment, operational characteristics and comfort, the metro of the capital is significantly superior to foreign subways.

Each station is unique and looks like a museum with beautiful mosaics, huge chandeliers, bas-reliefs and columns.

Its useful to note: a big plus is the availability of free wi-fi in the metro.

Metro map

The Moscow metro ranks first in Europe in terms of load intensity. In total, the metro has 12 lines with a length of more than three hundred kilometers and 207 stations.

At first, a beginner can get confused by the intertwining of subway lines, but they are all united by one circular line. For the convenience of passengers, signs in Russian and English are placed on the walls, floor and ceiling of the station.

Opening hours

All metro stations operate from 06.00 to 01.00 without lunch breaks and weekends. After closing, the last train goes to the terminal station.

Fare

Currently, there are several types of metro passes:

  1. The Single Ticket Card is a universal, simplified travel ticket for all types of public transport. One trip will cost 55 rubles, respectively, two will cost 110 rubles.
  2. The limit for one or two trips is valid for five days, for twenty or more trips it is valid for three months. The higher the travel limit, the lower the fare. A travel card for 20 trips costs 720 rubles, for 40 - 1440, for 60 - 1700. Thus, one route with a single card for 20 trips will cost 36 rubles. This is undoubtedly a nice bonus for those planning to stay in Moscow for a week or more.
  3. Card "90 minutes". This card is valid for 90 minutes. One trip costs 65 rubles, two - 130 rubles. A travel pass for 60 trips or more will cost 2650 rubles.
  4. Strelka and Troika electronic cards. They can be used to pay for travel on public transport. Upon receipt at the box office, you must leave a deposit of 50 rubles. You can top up the balance on the card from any terminal or using the special mobile application "Moscow Metro". The cost of one ride in the metro, monorail and on land transport with a Troika card will be only 36 rubles. The card is valid for five years.
  5. There are also social passes for students, Muscovites and pensioners. A variety of travel tickets have been issued for various anniversaries and holidays. For example, a travel card dedicated to the year since the founding of the Society of Collectors.

A few recommendations for those who are in the metro for the first time:

  1. The stations have four or more exits to the city and, in order not to waste time, you need to go in advance closer to the center, beginning, end of the car.
  2. Also, in order to save time, it is necessary to remember the numbers of the cars that stop closest to the escalator.
  3. It is advisable, without an urgent need, not to get into the subway during rush hours, which fall in the early morning (07.00 - 09.00) and in the evening (17.00 - 20.00), since it will not be easy for a beginner to navigate in space in a massive influx of people.
  4. When moving to the center, stations are announced by the voice of a man, in the opposite direction - by women. On the ring line: stations are announced clockwise with the voice of a man, counterclockwise with the voice of a woman.

Land transport

Buses, trolleybuses, trams are no less popular types of ground public transport among Muscovites. The route network of city buses covers not only the territory of the capital, but also the nearby settlements.

SUE Mosgortrans is an organization serving and responsible for the operation of bus routes.

Recently, a semi-express route No. 911 was launched (Vnukovo airport - Salaryevo metro station), during its operation it was used by about half a million people. Muscovites appreciated this destination for its speed and convenience.

Semi-express buses take about 150,000 people to their destinations every day. Additional dedicated lanes increase the speed of buses.

Ticket prices

The price of one ticket on the bus for one trip is 55 rubles. You can buy it from the bus driver or use the “Unified” travel card, which is sold at the metro ticket office or at the ticket office at the bus stop.

In addition to "Ediniy", there is a TAT pass (trolleybus / bus / tram), a bus pass "A".

Routes at night

In the capital, there are eleven routes of surface intracity transport at night.

Night time trolleybuses (Bk, Bchr) pass a circular route through the streets Garden Ring... Their path lies through Zamoskvorechye, Yakimanka, Khamovniki, Arbat, as well as Basmanny, Tagansky, Presnensky, Tverskoy, Meshchansky, Krasnoselsky districts.

Working interval: every 15 minutes, other trolleybuses move at half-hour intervals.

Night tram number 3 goes along the route of the metro station "Chistye Prudy" - st. Academician Yangel. Route taxi # 308 runs from the Domodedovskaya metro station to the airport with the same name, the interval is 40 minutes. The price of tickets at night is the same as during the day.

Take a note: on the Mosgortrans website http://www.mosgortrans.ru you can find answers to the questions: what time do buses start running at night? There you can also search for land transport schedules, find out how many trolleybuses, trams and buses run.

How long does it drive night transport? Night transport starts at 23:30. Traffic stop time: 05:30 am. Sometimes the movement takes place around the clock, without interruption.

Below is a diagram of the movement of intracity transport in Moscow at night.

Note: using the mobile phone application “Yandex. Transport ”can greatly facilitate the search for land transport schedules. On the Internet, there are sites - reference books with which you can build a route.

Route taxis

A minibus, as these taxis are popularly called, is certainly a more convenient and less crowded type of city transport.

The cost of the ticket varies between 25-35 rubles, suburban routes, of course, will cost twice as much.

There are a lot of commercial minibuses in the capital. The roads are mainly driven by both old Gazelle cars and more modern Ford cars.

Minibus numbers and their full list, as well as the timetable can be found on the Internet at http://gorod-moskva.ru/transport/mtaxi.php. Route taxis operate daily from 6:00 to 24:00.

The city stops are equipped with special boards, which display the number of public transport, the route and the interval of movement. It is very convenient for passengers.

Monorail

The Moscow monorail is an experimental passenger mode of transport, consists of one track, runs on an overpass between the metro and VDNKh.

It is a landmark of VDNKh and is used mainly for excursion purposes.

Opening hours: 6:30 - 23:30.

You can pay for travel with the "Edinaya", "Troika" card and all other travel tickets.

Electric trains

Another popular type of railway land transport is the electric train.

Electric trains run daily and around the clock, from 05.00 am to 01.00 am.

A nice bonus for students is a discount on travel (half the cost of an adult ticket).

A ticket for the next train trip can be bought from the controller or at the station ticket office. The ticket is issued for the whole day.

The entrance to the platform is blocked by a turnstile. On each platform there are signs in the form of electronic boards indicating the time of departure and the station of arrival. Station names are constantly announced.

Electric trains run in the following directions:

  • Belarusian;
  • Gorkovskoe;
  • Kazanskoe;
  • Kievskoe;
  • Ring;
  • Kursk;
  • Leningradskoe;
  • Moscow Central Ring;
  • Paveletskoe;
  • Riga;
  • Savelovskoe;
  • Yaroslavskoe.

The train schedule can be viewed on the website https://www.tutu.ru/msk/.

Ticket price within Moscow railway stations per day - 34 rubles. (for a month - 1570 rubles, for ten trips - 340 rubles), for beneficiaries - 17 rubles, for minors - 8.5 rubles.

Water transport

Recently, river trams have been used mainly for excursion purposes.

For tourists and local population a walk along the Moscow river on river tram is quite an interesting activity: wonderful views of the sights and scenic spots open from the board.

The ships operate on a fixed route from mid-April to the end of October.

Several shipping companies are engaged in boat trips in the city: Rechflot, Stolichnaya, Vodokhod, Megaflot. There is no single route of movement, each shipping has its own. The schedule can be found here http://transport.mos.ru/river/.

Tickets can be bought at the riverport ticket offices.

Conclusion

Based on the above, you can move around the city by any of the listed types of transport. Based on this information, everyone can draw up a travel route in advance in order to visit all the desired sights of the Russian capital.

Traveling around Moscow is interesting and exciting! And, thanks to a well-functioning and organized system of intracity transport links, also convenient.

Let's consider an important topic for our capital - public transport and all the nuances related to it.

What types of transport can you use in Moscow? The choice is great: ground transport (buses, trolleybuses, trams, fixed-route taxis), underground metro and elevated monorail, railway trains and even there is the option of moving on water, although it is used only for entertainment purposes.

It is also important to note that there is a division into urban and commuter transport, and, since the first serves Moscow, and the second, respectively, the region, it should be remembered that the tariffication and the method of payment depend on this.

More details now!

Underground

Fast and affordable

The most common and irreplaceable option for moving around Moscow. By the way, the Moscow metro is also considered one of the most beautiful in the world! In addition, its length is very large (333.5 km in total) and it continues to increase. So underground it is quite possible to spend two hours, getting from different parts of the city. And this is the fastest option available!

It is unlikely that you will be able to pass the metro entrance, except for the bright red capital letter "M", your attention will be attracted by a huge passenger traffic.

It is difficult to get confused here. The metro map is understandable and accessible largely thanks to the circular line that connects all other branches.

When crossing and entering the city, you should only carefully read the signs, which are located literally everywhere, including the floor and ceiling.

A definite plus of the Moscow metro is free wi-fi. So, if you urgently need to connect to the Internet, feel free to go down to the subway. If you need long access - the circular branch is at your disposal;)

Opening hours

The metro operates from 5:30 am to 1:30 am. Each station has its own opening time. It varies in the region of half an hour. You should enter the metro and have time to make a transfer to the desired line before one in the morning, since at this time all the doors close to the entrance, and the last train departs from each terminal station.

Fare

In order to go down to the metro, the easiest way is to buy a “Unified” ticket. It is called this way because it allows you to travel not only in the subway, but also on buses, trolleybuses and trams, which, no doubt, is very convenient!

A one-trip ticket, which can be purchased both at the box office and in vending machines, will cost you 50 rubles, for two - twice as much. You can spend them within 5 days, then the card will become invalid. And then another pleasant system is switched on: the more trips you buy, the cheaper the trip is! True, the next figure is only 20 trips. But if you often use transport and stay in the capital for at least a week, you should think about such a purchase. You can ride it for 90 days, and it costs 650 rubles. Thus, one trip costs 32.5 rubles! Explicit savings.

But what if you definitely won't spend 20 trips, but want to save money? Take the Troika! You buy a card at the checkout, leaving a security deposit of 50 rubles, you can replenish it in any machine. And, voila, your travel on the metro and on the monorail costs 32 rubles, and on all ground transport (except for commercial) - 31! When you leave, return the card back to the cashier and get your 50 rubles deposit. But if you take the Troika with you with a positive balance, then within 5 years you will still be able to travel the entire remainder during your next visits to the capital!

In addition, there is a system of unlimited travel all on the same "One". For a day, the cost of a ticket is 210 rubles, for 3 days - 400, in general, you can take at least a whole year for 18200. Again, the question of the benefits.

There is another tricky system. It is called "90 minutes". Allows you to make one trip by metro and an unlimited number of changes by ground transport during this time. One trip costs 60 rubles, two - 120 rubles.

In general, you can carefully study all these rates at each checkout!

  • Since there are usually several exits from the metro, ask in advance which carriage from the center you need - the first or the last. Once in the desired carriage, you will find yourself closer to your exit;
  • Remember the cars from which it is closer to you to go to the city or it is more convenient to change trains if you use the same route. This will significantly save your time;
  • I also strongly advise you to avoid rush hour! Perhaps there will be someone who likes to feel the full power of our people, who smoothly brings you in and out of the carriage, even when you don't need it, but, I believe, there are only a few of them. So it is better to postpone the trip to an earlier or later time, if suddenly you realize that you are getting into a period of "bacchanalia". Namely: weekday morning hours - from about 7 to 10, and evening - from 6 to 8. This advice applies to all transport in general. Well, if, nevertheless, you need to find yourself somewhere at this time bleeding from your nose, then use either the metro or the electric trains - there is the least chance of getting stuck in a traffic jam;
  • A male voice announces stations towards the center, a female one from the center. On a circular line, the male voice sounds clockwise and the female counterclockwise. This knowledge will help you navigate if you suddenly find yourself on the train without seeing exactly where it is going;
  • And, of course, take care of your things! Pickpocketing is such a widespread phenomenon that, it would seem, it is not worth repeating about it, but they happen with enviable regularity. Of course, you don't need to see a potential thief in everyone, but it doesn't hurt to be a little more vigilant.

Land transport

Buses, trolleybuses and trams

I combine these three types of transport for a reason, because, despite the presence or absence of "horns", in this case they have the same essence and payment too :)

When boarding, a ticket for one trip can be taken directly from the driver for 50 rubles. Or use the "United", bought at the metro ticket office. You can also buy a ticket at the bus stop at the kiosk (if there is one), which will be very prudent on your part, since the entrance is only through the front door and everyone who has to take tickets from the driver significantly delays the always hurrying line.

Every stop is announced in the cabin, so you won't pass by. I especially like how it happens on the Berezhkovskaya embankment (it is not far from Kievsky railway station) - the intonation with which the announcements are pronounced evokes a lot of positive emotions! By the way, if you have time, I advise you to visit those regions. Nice place. You can be there if you want to visit the Novodevichy Convent or if you decide to take an excursion to Mosfilm!

Night routes

There are 11 night routes of surface urban transport in Moscow.

Night ring trolleybuses No. "Bk" and "Bch" (passes through the areas: Basmanny, Tagansky, Zamoskvorechye, Yakimanka, Khamovniki, Arbat, Presnensky, Tverskoy, Meshchansky, Krasnoselsky) run every 15 minutes, other night routes operate at 30-minute intervals ...
For the convenience of passengers in the city center, buses of radial directions and trolleybus No. 63 arrive at the stop on Lubyanskaya Square, where you can change trains.
The fare does not differ from the tariffs during the daytime. Approximately all of them have the same working hours - from 23:30 to 5:30, or around the clock.

Moscow region buses

And here is already its own system! The fares are completely different and depend on how far you travel. You can clarify the cost from the conductor who will serve you in the bus cabin and will prompt you for the required stop! City payment cards (Troika, Ediny) do not work on these routes! In addition, it has its own Strelka travel card. It costs 200 rubles, of which the collateral value is 80, and 120 go to your card. It is most convenient to replenish it through bank card directly in the Strelka app on your smartphone (sometimes there is no such service in kiosks at stopping points). If necessary, you can also surrender it and get the collateral value back, however, you will have to provide a check or printout from the site confirming the fact that you replenished the balance no earlier than this month. In general, there are more problems with the suburban Strelka than with the Moscow Troika, but it will save your finances significantly.

Route taxi

When I first arrived in Moscow, I was very surprised why the drivers of minibuses so vehemently invite passengers to their place. After all, if I am not on the way, then I definitely will not go with him. And then I realized that they have high competition. As with other similar routes, and with city buses.

A clear plus, perhaps, is that it is the fastest land commercial mode of transport. And for the money within the city limits, the fare will cost 25-35 rubles, that is, no more than a one-time purchase of a bus ride. You will be taken out of town at different rates. Usually it is in the region of 40-70 rubles.

Both old low gazelles and modern wide Fords drive along the routes. And behind the wheel are invariably those who have a place in Formula 1, so don't expect a quiet road. But I repeat - but quickly :)

Opening hours

Again, it all depends on the specific route, but from 6:00 to 00:00 any day you can go one hundred percent to the most diverse points of the city.

All routes in your pocket

As for the routes themselves, I strongly advise you to install an application on your smartphone. Yandex-Transport, if you haven't already. The program allows you to monitor traffic online and operates not only in Moscow.

Honestly, the first 10 minutes after I installed this program, I watched with wild delight how circles with numbers move across the screen and immediately this trolley / bus / tram / minibus rushes past me!

It is very convenient when there is no exact timetable at the bus stop! By the way, in general, at many stops there is a board where the bus / trolleybus number and the number of minutes before it arrives at the stop are written.

This application also builds various route options that can be saved for future use.

In general, an extremely irreplaceable assistant for any passenger!

Overhead transport, or monorail

Moscow monorail transport system- this is a flyover above the ground, on which a rare train slowly glides. It consists of only one line and is subordinate to the metro, so that the same "Troika", "Ediny" and all the cards operate here as on a regular metro.

This wonderful “reverse metro” is located in the area of the Telecentre, therefore, if you are planning an excursion to the Ostankino tower, a walk through the VVTs, or simply will be somewhere near the Timiryazevskaya station, I advise you to take a ride on this unique transport! There will be a lot of impressions, that's for sure! Especially in the evening it is great to drive past the sparkling Cosmos Hotel and admire the main tower of our country stretching into the sky! Moreover, the whole journey will take you from the final to the final maximum 20 minutes.

Monorail stations are open to passengers from 6:50 to 23:00.

Electric trains

That's really great rail transport! Saved me many times in various situations. For example, electric trains run almost around the clock (sometimes you can catch it at three in the morning, but, basically, they run from about 5 in the morning until one in the morning). Another joyful difference between this type of transport is that students get a 50% discount on travel.

It is worth using the train not only when you need to cover a long distance outside the city, but also make a journey within the city, especially if there are stations nearby at point A and point B of your trip.

Step-by-step instruction

Be that as it may, there are many nuances worth knowing. Let's consider the entire path in order.

Ticket

You can buy a ticket at the box office or purchase it yourself from the machine. On rare platforms in the area there are no ticket offices due to low passenger traffic, in this case you buy a ticket from the controller on the train, naming the station from which you are traveling.

It is important to note that if you know the time of the required train, it is better to come to the station in advance, because there may be queues at the ticket office. All the more so if you are a student - cashiers are very fond of looking at a student card for a long time.

The received ticket has the most important lower part with a barcode! In no case should it get wet or crumpled, otherwise you will not be able to pass through the turnstiles installed at the entrance to and exit from the platform. So we bought a ticket, passed the turnstile and carefully hid it in the safest pocket. On occasion, you have to present it to the controller. The main thing is not to throw away your ticket before you pass through the turnstile at the exit of the station you need! Otherwise, you will have to pay two or even three times more in order to simply buy an exit ticket.

The ticket itself gives you the right to travel from station to station during the day. He is not attached to time. Therefore, you can take a ticket immediately for the return journey.

Platform

If this is a train station, then there will be many paths. But in front of each there is a board where the time of departure and the final stop of the train are written, as well as a list of stations that the train will follow without stopping. The latter is worth paying special attention to. In addition, all trains are constantly announced. So information is everywhere, the main thing is to perceive it.

If this is an ordinary station, then there are at least two tracks and each also has a board with the indicated direction. But I usually check at the checkout which platform I should go to.

Train

And now you are in a cozy orange or blue (whoever is lucky) salon. Before the departure, the final stop will be announced and the stations at which the train will not stop, so in case of an error there is still a chance to run out of the train :)

Stations are announced, however, sometimes very quietly or illegible, so keep your ears open.

Controllers keep order. All they need is to see your ticket. In some directions they are rare guests, and in some places you will have to show your ticket three times.

Hares

Now in Moscow they are actively fighting "hares" and almost every station has ticket offices and turnstiles, but if you somehow magically ended up on the train without a ticket, here are some tips for playing "Run away from the controller" ;)

  • do NOT sit in the outer carriages in order to be able to move several cars ahead of the impending danger;
  • The surest sign that this danger is too close is a long line of young people, marginals and other representatives of the "hare clan", moving from a neighboring carriage in the direction of the law-loving controllers. You should join their ranks and go forward on such a number of cars that the chase would not have time to catch up with you to your station;
  • if the controllers "drive" into the last carriage, then many do a dangerous trick: during a stop at the station, they run from this car to the previous one, which has already been checked by the controllers. I do NOT recommend doing this, because it is really dangerous. True, the driver in this survival game is always on the side of the hares - let it be better for a careless stowaway to pass the fine than fall under the train, so he will not close the doors in front of his nose;
  • extreme case. Having missed all the opportunities to escape from them, the controller asks you to present your ticket. Sometimes there will be a number with a brazenly demonstrated old ticket. Personally, I did this twice and both times skated :) Otherwise, you just have to pay the full fare. On refusal, for some reason, the controllers take the hares to the last carriage, apparently they drop them off there (I don't know why exactly through the last carriage). One way or another, in the case of a ticketless journey, a fine is imposed, which is calculated depending on the kilometers and the type / class of the carriage. Therefore, it is better not to bump into controllers, and even better to buy a ticket in advance.

I will devote a couple of lines to one more plus of electric trains: the presence of a toilet in the first carriage, which can sometimes be very useful! Also, with a ticket purchased at the station, you can go free to the public toilet in the station building.

How to get to the airport

If trains arrive at stations located on the circular metro line, then all three Moscow airports are located outside the city.

Aeroexpress

The most common and reliable option. It travels from the center to the airport in just half an hour (or a little more - it depends on the airport, but the time is fixed), and since this is a view railway transport, no traffic jams threaten you. Very comfortable, fast, accurate in time, but quite expensive - 470 rubles (420 when buying on the website or through mobile app), a child ticket will come out at 130 rubles. When traveling with children, you must have a copy of the child's birth certificate confirming his age.

They run every half hour from 5:30 am to 1:00 am... But there are breaks per hour, so it is better to clarify in advance so as not to get into a very unpleasant situation and urgently look for other ways, as it happened with me.

You can get to Vnukovo airport from the Kievsky railway station, to Sheremetyevo from Belorussky, and to Domodedovo from Paveletsky. Each of these stations has dedicated ticket offices, waiting rooms and platforms. Signs will tell you how to get to this zone (even in the metro).

Train

And now a little life hack - few people know that you can get to Domodedovo airport from the same Paveletsky railway station on a regular train! Moreover, you lose almost nothing in comfort, only in time - the train covers the same distance in a little over an hour. But the ticket price is only 123 rubles! And if you are a student, then in general 61.5! These trains run from half past four in the morning, and the last one leaves at about 11 pm. So this is the best option if you need to get to Domodedovo. It is a pity, however, that it will not be possible to get to Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo in the same way.

Route taxis and buses

They have one clear drawback - the likelihood of getting stuck in traffic. However, you can safely use this transport during the daytime on weekdays and on weekends.

The buses have a timetable, but there are also many scheduled stops, which can lead to long travel times. But in some places the usual city payment system operates (I once went to Sheremetyevo on "Ediniy").

But minibuses will take you much faster than a bus, so if you do not have a carriage of time with a small cart in stock, it is better to go by shuttle taxi! For this you will be charged from 70 to 150 rubles.

The working time is also about from 4:30 am to 00:30 am... Without traffic jams, a minibus can be reached in half an hour.

  • Heading to Sheremetyevo, you should take a minibus at the Rechnoy Vokzal metro station: No. 949, the first carriage from the center, or to Planernaya: No. 948, the first carriage from the center. There is only one exit to the street. Opposite the exit there are bus stops and minibuses.
  • You will be taken to Domodedovo from Domodedovskaya station: # 308. The last carriage from the center. In the underpass to the right until the end of the tunnel. If you go up the stairs and look around, you will immediately see the bus stop.
  • In Vnukovo, minibuses start mainly from Yugo-Zapadnaya: No. 45, the first carriage from the center, in the underpass to the right, from the passage upstairs - along the left staircase. Stop near the metro exit. You can also get there from the newly-made stations: there is one exit to the city at Salaryevo. The stops of city buses # 611 are located 15 meters from the metro exit. Directions to the Troparevo metro station - exit from the last carriage, into the underground passage to the right, then to the right along the stairs and straight along the street. The stops of city buses # 611k are located 10 meters from the metro exit. From Rumyantsevo - exit from the last carriage. The stops of city buses # 611 are located 15 meters from the exit.

In addition, signs in the form of stickers at the station will help you get off the metro to the stop.

Again, you will not pass by the minibuses - the most expressive name of the airport will flaunt on the windshield, and next to you you will see an actively inviting driver. You just have to get comfortable in the cabin and wait for the departure, which takes place upon completion.

For those who do not go by taxi, but by bus, their stops are located in the same place.

Taxi

It is very expensive and ineffective, because no one is insured against traffic jams.

If you decide to use the services of a taxi driver, then prepare two thousand of our domestic rubles. Even if you are geographically close to the airport and you can drive by car for a maximum of 15 minutes, you will still give at least 800 rubles - I tried it.

Water transport

As I said at the very beginning, it is used only for entertainment purposes, but it is always pleasant to walk along the Moskva River on a motor ship, so we will consider this type of transport as well.

Motor ships run from April to October and have fixed routes.

In the center of Moscow:

  • Kievsky railway station - Ustinsky bridge - Kievsky railway station;
  • Vorobyovy Gory - Goncharnaya Embankment - Vorobyovy Gory;
  • Park of Culture - Krasnokholmsky Bridge - Park of Culture;
  • Tretyakovsky quay - Kremlin - Tretyakovsky quay.

Local routes:

  • The route Kolomenskoye - Brateevo - Maryino. It is actively used to deliver residents of the same areas to the recreation area and historical complex Kolomenskoye. There are only round trips from the Kolomenskoye pier lasting 1 hour.
  • Routes Troitse-Lykovo - Strogino and around Serebryany Bor.
  • The route to the recreation area "Bay of Joy" on the Klyazminskoye reservoir on the motor ships "Raketa" from the North River Station.
  • Route through the Khimki reservoir without disembarking.
  • And in a circular route along the Moscow River, you can go from the pier at the hotel "Ukraine".

There are unusual types of walks with lunch or dinner, excursion programs, as well as the opportunity to celebrate certain holidays on board the ship!

Price

  • One-way ride ticket to any pier: price for an adult - 550 rubles, for a child from 6 to 13 years old - 400 rubles, children under 6 years old - free of charge.
  • A ticket for a whole day with the opportunity to take a walk all day with an unlimited number of pick-up and drop-off: the price for an adult is 900 rubles, for a child from 6 to 14 years old - 500 rubles, children under 6 years old - free of charge.
  • Ticket for a two-hour circular route Kievsky Station - Kievsky Station: price for an adult - 650 rubles, for a child from 6 to 14 years old - 450 rubles, children under 6 years old - free of charge.

Tickets can be bought at the ticket offices at the marinas on the day of departure. Motor ships for a walk with stops lasting 1.5 hours leave every 25 minutes from the Kievsky railway station - from 12-00 to 20-00, from Novospassky bridge - from 11-30 to 19-50... Changes in the work schedule are possible due to weather conditions or technical reasons.

By the way, on Sparrow Hills in the summer, beautiful girls can unexpectedly expect a good discount on the ticket from the cavaliers from the staff from the ship, just to recruit passengers and, of course, to please you!

Well, perhaps, with this knowledge base, it will not be difficult for you to move around Moscow comfortably and correctly plan your time and routes! ;)

For several years, a picture-meme has been circulating on the Internet - the emotional obscene impressions of a provincial from Moscow. Among them there is the phrase: "Bus 483rd, not a fig to itself a figure!" The logic of the numbering of urban transport is, indeed, not always obvious. The Village learned how numbers are assigned to buses, trolleybuses and trams.

Press Service of the State Unitary Enterprise "Mosgortrans"

All routes of urban passenger transport in the capital have one-digit, two-digit and three-digit numbers. This numbering has developed historically and does not change. On new directions, the transport is assigned new numbers or numbers of previously canceled routes. All numbering is individual, but there are also coincidences: the routes of different types of transport can be marked in the same way. Thus, tram No. 3, trolleybus No. 3 and bus No. 3 travel around the city, but they all follow different routes.

There is no need to assign four-digit numbers to new routes yet. There are, however, bus routes No. 1001, 1002 and 1004, which previously belonged to commercial carriers. In 2013, they were transferred under the control of Mosgortrans; for the convenience of passengers, the numbers did not change.

Sometimes, when numbering, the specifics of a particular route are taken into account. For example, in Moscow there are several "social" directions of movement, they cover educational institutions, medicine, social protection. The numbers of such routes begin with the letter C: C1, C2, and so on. There are also night routes of surface urban transport, these are buses No. H1, H2, H3. The letters are also used for shortened flights: they duplicate the busiest sections of the route. To make it easier for passengers to navigate, when entering such a route, the letter "k" (short) is added to the main number. There is, for example, bus route No. 709, next from the Orekhovo metro station to the Kashirskaya metro station, and there is No. 709k, which goes from the Orekhovo metro station to the Moskvorechye platform.

Konstantin Trofimenko

Director of the Center for Research on Transport Problems in Megalopolises, HSE

There is no special system of numbering for transport in Moscow - it is a wild mixture between the route numbers of a century ago, Stalin's, Brezhnev's and numbers of the 1990s. They all layered on top of each other.

There are also routes that use letters in the designation. This may be due to the fact that the transport route was once divided into two parts. It also happens that the route forks: the transport follows the route, and then its variant, to the numbering of which the letter A is added, turns to the right. The variant without such a letter continues to follow straight. All this, of course, causes confusion. City navigation is not user-friendly at all. If a person does not specialize in this topic, he is unlikely to know about any routes other than those that he needs.

In Soviet times, work was regularly carried out to optimize the urban transport system. In the 90s, they stopped doing this, and now attempts are being resumed. Last year, not only the problem of transport numbering was raised, but also the question of the need for certain routes. It happens that they lose their relevance: for example, there was a bus that took people to the plant. The enterprise was closed, and people stopped going there, but the route continues to function. Does the city need it? But, unfortunately, so far these works have not led to a positive result.
