How to organize a tourist trip without leaving your home. Rules for the organized transportation of a group of children by buses Organized trips

During the organized trips, rules for the transport of children on the bus were developed to ensure the safety of minors.

Special regulations regarding the rules for the organized transportation of children have been approved by law.

Specific requirements for the transportation of children by buses are imposed not only on the vehicle and the driver, but also on the escort.

The rules for the transportation of groups of children were developed by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

By a Government decree, document No. 1177 of December 17, 2013 was approved, where bus transportation children by bus means:

  • transportation of minors by non-route vehicles;
  • transportation of groups of children in the amount of 8 people or more;

  • the number of underage passengers with indication of age;
  • the route of movement with the indication of the points of travel;

According to the new rules for the carriage of children in buses, which came into force on July 12, 2017, it is prohibited to transport small children under 7 years old if the trip lasts more than 4 hours.

From 11:00 pm to 6:00 am, group transportation is only allowed to and from airports and train stations. After 23:00, the distance should not exceed 50 km.

Organized children's transportation in a column intercity buses lasting more than 3 hours must be accompanied by honey. an employee. Transport must contain bottled water and a set of food products.

Not later than 2 days before the start of transportation, the contractor (charterer) and the customer (charterer) must provide an official notification to the traffic police inspectorate about the planned transportation by buses.

If it is planned to use 3 or more buses, the customer submits an application to accompany a group of children with traffic police cars.

When transporting children by bus, accompanying persons are obliged to ensure proper order during boarding and disembarking from transport, as well as during stops and when the bus is moving.

Before boarding passengers, accompanying persons must:

The duties of those accompanying the children's group include monitoring the state of health, behavior and diet of children. Also, adults are required to control the route and, in the event of unforeseen situations, coordinate the movement of the bus.

In case of mass transportation, children are boarding only after the bus stops under the supervision of the driver and under the guidance of the accompanying persons. They bring the children in an organized manner to the landing site through the front door of the vehicle (younger children are built in pairs).

The organizers take turns to seat the little passengers and celebrate that carry-on baggage was safely positioned, did not restrict the driver's field of vision, and did not pose a threat to the safety of children. After their placement, the accompanying driver informs about the end of boarding.

The escorts are the first to leave the vehicle. During stops, children are disembarked from the vehicle only through the front door.

But how anyone. I personally hate organized tours.

Cons of organized tours:

    they often include unnecessary sponsored trips to a jewelry or fur coat store (encountered in Paris and Turkey);

    you partially depend on other tourists in your group (they need to pee, souvenirs, they have a baby crying on the bus);

    on tours usually the most popular places for excursions you have already paid for. And if you want to go to a non-tourist place, and you are going to Versailles with a bus, you are sorry to refuse, you have already paid.

Pros of organized tours:

    no need to think about anything: what to do with yourself, how to get to the museum, where to eat, what to see. True, it is not a fact that all the places will be good.

    usually it is cheaper at the expense of a travel agency, hotels on the outskirts or those in which travel agencies have special prices, sponsors, to whose store you will be brought on a tour, etc. Also Bus tours, like 7 countries in 5 days, very cheap.

    there are very cool tours that are not for everyone, but especially for you. For example, in Ukraine there are guys who take designers and architects on tours. They plan well and with them you can get to, for example, workshops famous architects where you yourself would never go. Or there are photo tours. In short, highly specialized tours that will interest you. Or very expensive and rare tours, such as a cruise near Antarctica.

That is, you can enjoy the tour if you get hysterical from planning and if you don't worry too much about what you will see on the trip. Paris, okay, it doesn't matter what you see (the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, you will see 100%). Or if you find a unique tour.

If independence and quality are still important to you, it is better to do everything yourself.

Pros of self-guided tours:

    what you want, you do - you visit the places you want, the plane or the bus - you choose yourself, you choose the hotel yourself, everything is up to you.

    sites for the selection of tickets, hotels, restaurants, establishments and entertainment give complete freedom (tickets.ua, tripadviser.com, hotels.com, anywayanyday and other hundreds of sites).

    a guidebook (booklet) often tells everything that is needed, and if you choose it correctly, you can do without a guide on the bus, as in an organized tour. The Internet, again, knows everything.

    you can get into not tourist places that you will find out about on some local site, and not in the tourist mass-market places where the quality is designed so that you will never return and others will arrive tomorrow.

    many interesting routes are not the subject of organized tours. Fuck we'd see Scottish northern castles would climb the most high point Great Britain, would visit Glasgow, Edinburgh, Oberdeen, Inverness, Loch Ness, Isle of Skye in one organized tour. And on its own it is quite real.

Cons of self-guided tours:

    you have to plan a lot and rely on yourself. Often this means buying tickets to the museum on the Internet, otherwise you will have a huge queue (Uffizi, Louvre);

    you can get to a bad hotel with bedbugs (Paris :)), travel agencies usually choose proven hotels, because the reputation and everything;

    some places can only be reached with a group, or it is easier to get with a group or an organized tour (in some collections, excursions are only for groups, cruises, etc., most often this is an organized tour).

    it is a little harder to find yourself a tour guide. I don’t know, somehow we never had the practice of ordering a city guide from the Internet without recommendations. It is always either a blogger-guide whom I read long before the trip (London, Stockholm), or on the recommendation of friends (Tallinn).

In short, independent travel is usually easier and more pleasant to organize for yourself in simple places (cities and countries of Europe and the USA). It is easier and calmer to take a tour to exotic countries, as I understand it

It's not the same for everybody. Last year my friend and I were looking for where to relax, looking for options where you can surf (I dreamed of trying for many years). The beginners themselves, could not do anything. First, we wanted to go there ourselves, find a rental of boards and try ourselves somehow, but in the end we decided to choose a paid surf tour. And you know, we didn’t regret it at all! chose the surfvan camp at their own peril and risk - thank God. everything went very cool))))

To answer

Better independent travel. Get out of your comfort zone, upgrade your languages, ride local public transport, rent accommodation from locals, eat with locals, go not where everyone is, see what the group leaders do not show, get into stories that will be interesting to tell. Take risks and discover new things. And you will be happy!

An independent trip is definitely better, and here's why:

    Self-planning is a way to travel on any budget. No one in the chain between you and the computer has their own margin on food, flights, housing and all that.

    Self-organization is Zen. No one but you is responsible for the shoals, delays and failures. And since there is no point in blaming yourself, you will only have to accept the universe with all its surprises.

    Complete freedom of movement. Nowhere and never will you feel so much emotion as at a Bangkok train station without scoreboards and signs.

Go for it, friends.

1) If this is a European city, then, of course, an independent journey. Book a hotel on one of the many sites, buy a "city_card" upon arrival (in many European cities such cards are sold for a period of one to 3 days, usually they give free travel on public transport and free or partially discounted passes to museums), suburb rides public transport, there you can take an audio guide, and if you arrive before the opening, then walk along the sights in front of all the tourist crowds. Nishtyaki from such a trip: you don't depend on anyone, you walk wherever you want, eat where you want, merge with the city, and not with the herd of the guide. But for this: you need to plan in advance what you will visit tomorrow, after tomorrow, etc., do not spare your feet, because there is a lot of walking, it is advisable to know English.

2) If this is a trip around the country, then the question is about the budget. Everyone writes about tours as huge buses filled with time-forgetting women, unsobbed men and their screaming offspring (hello, typical Turkey). Of course, such a journey is comparable to the descent into Hell. Another case: a driver-guide in a good car for a small company or family (suppose you don't drive / are afraid to get confused in maps / lose control on unusual terrain / take a break from the steering wheel and calmly look out the window) - this, believe me, is very good and helps to get to know the country from the inside. However, this is a tour and not an independent journey.

3) There are concept tours, that's another story altogether.

4) Direction: the difference between East and West is great, if you are not going to arrange an experiment for yourself by placing yourself in the condition of a newly hatched chick, then it is better to use a tour operator.

Better water or beer?
Here is the same thing. You need to ask yourself a few questions, in the spirit of "what do I want to get from the trip? What resources do I have (time, money, etc.)?", And accordingly, based on the answers, it will be clear which is better in this case.

If you want to lie on the beach for a week in Turkey, because the budget is limited, you are too lazy to organize, and besides, you do not know the languages and are afraid that they are needed (in fact, not), then why not buy a tour.

And if you are interested in walking around Venice, then on the contrary - there is no point in contacting a company - you will overpay for the tour, and the hotel will most likely offer you hell knows where.

There is no definite answer to this question. Depends on the direction and what you want.

Usually an organized tour, especially if it covers several countries or cities, allows you to free your head from organizational issues and put all your energy into the perception and development of what you saw. Here you pay for relative comfort and efficiency in terms of time by standardization and a somewhat incubatory approach.

Traveling on your own is more fun because you can fully customize it to suit your needs, interests, budget, and pace of learning. However, this requires a lot of time, emotional and physical costs, which are rewarded with interesting discoveries and adventures.

Some companies offer a combination of these two approaches, and this is probably the most advantageous option. Last year I happened to be on a two-week trip to Vietnam with the world famous company Intrepid. We organized basic things, such as transfers between cities and overnight stays in hotels. Everything else was optional - additional excursions, entertainment, outings, dinners, and so on. And we ourselves, as from Lego, put together the most interesting and relevant program, while there was enough time and opportunity to master the area on our own.

For me, independent travel is preferable. Sometimes you start preparing for six months, and this is already a great pleasure. I buy a bunch of books, a map, watch historical films, read reviews from other travelers. Finding a place to live is a special pleasure. When traveling in Europe, we ignore hotels, we book accommodation on airbnb.com We always take country houses close to the area we want to explore. Having a good kitchen is so important! You can live very inexpensively in a real medieval house! But about the cost of independent travel, I disagree with those who write that it is possible to save money on this. Traveling in a rented car in Europe will still cost at least 2 times more than a package tour, although it is worth it.

I am always in favor of independent travel, because it assumes that there will be unforeseen circumstances that need to be resolved, you can run into some adventures and so on, in general, everything will not be monotonous.

Agreeing with all those who unsubscribed, I will add that if you are just starting to travel abroad, you are not very fluent in the local (where you are going) language and not very much in the topic of where to find out, buy, live, be, I would advise you to go with a group a couple of times. You will take a closer look, find out the basic things that relate to travel, etc. And then you can go to an independent level. I traveled with groups for several years, and then it so happened that I went to Ireland as a "savage" - with a plan drawn up, a hotel reservation, a paid excursion to the cliffs. After this trip, I realized that I would not go with the group anymore))) This is such freedom! But it requires at least minimal training of the traveler :)

Depends on what you want from this trip. I will write about excursion trips, as I am not a fan of beach holidays.

Buying a ticket through a travel agency, you, of course, overpay, but you do not bother with the route (just pre-select from several presented), accommodation, excursions, guidebooks, method of transportation. Sometimes you don't even bother with food. They just pick you up at the airport, put you on a bus and take you wherever they planned. You just have to relax, listen to the stories of the guide and buy souvenirs. And one more bonus: most often, groups enter museums faster than individual visitors.

When planning your trip on your own, you take care of all this. You need to shovel a lot of information about the city or country where you are going to find out where and why you should go there :) You buy air tickets, look for accommodation, figure out how to get to this accommodation. If there are transfers, you also need to buy train / bus tickets. But on the other hand, it has its advantages: you go wherever you want, you do not need to listen to the rantings of the guides (if it depressing you) and make sure not to lag behind the group; you are the king and boh of your journey, everything completely depends on you; you can go to super-interesting, non-pop places; you lie down and get up when it suits you. It is also much cheaper!

Personally, I went on tours and on independent travels. I love both. Mostly I go on my own, but when there is extra money and there is no strength to study the country on my own (before planning a trip), but I want to go on vacation, I go to a travel agency

I watch a lot of opponents of the organized tour and put in my five kopecks in defense of the tours. Firstly, an organized tour is often cheaper, this applies, of course, to the well-known destinations. Let's say a direct flight, accommodation, transfer and insurance are cheaper than if you collect everything yourself, all thanks to charters from the operator, and by the way, a big plus is often a direct flight. Secondly, there is no one who will keep you in the hotel, they will bring you what is what and then do whatever you want to travel around the country itself, this is already an independent journey. In fact, the operator does not organize your trip, he simply brings you to the place and picks you up with comfort, and then you are free to do whatever you want.

Summer is a time of pilgrimage trips, to which both vacation and weather, and a desire to strengthen the spirit before the start of the new working year, are favorable. Many companies, both ecclesiastical and secular, offer today trips to the shrines of Russia and abroad. Which one should you choose? Or maybe take a chance and go to some monastery on your own? Our correspondent shares some secrets on organizing such trips.

Your own organizer

If you decide to visit some famous monastery - Optina Hermitage, Trinity-Sergius Lavra, Seraphim-Diveevsky Monastery - it is quite possible to do without the help of pilgrim services and organize the trip yourself. In our age, when every more or less famous monastery or temple has its own website on the Internet, this is very easy to do. In advance, you need to go to the site of the monastery, find the page "Pilgrim" there. It usually contains information about hotels, the procedure for booking them, as well as the peculiarities of the monastery charter regarding pilgrims and visitors, the amount of donations for religious services. Here on the site you can get acquainted with the history of the monastery, its shrines.

By dialing the phone number of the pilgrim service, you can not only book a room for the required number of days, but also ask: how is the food in the monastery - is there a refectory for pilgrims, a cafe, how do they work? In some monasteries, meals are provided to pilgrims completely free of charge, but it is assumed that if you come for several days, you will definitely take part in obediences with the blessing of the abbot or dean. There are cloisters where you can eat for a donation, the amount of which is determined by your financial resources (do not forget, of course, about the voice of conscience). In some monasteries (especially large ones), the cost of the meal is clearly defined (as a rule, you are not expected here to stay behind to wash the dishes, but it would be useful to offer your help).

If the monastery has adopted any special restrictions for pilgrims (time of accommodation in a hotel, stay in the monastery), they are usually indicated on the website or will become known to you from an oral conversation with the staff of the pilgrimage service. This does not apply to the most elementary requirements: a decent and chaste appearance, a ban on smoking and alcoholic beverages, a respectful attitude towards inhabitants and workers. It is assumed that a person traveling to holy places must know about this a priori and strictly observe. For a long stay in the monastery, a blessing is requested from the abbot.

Arriving at a monastery, it is appropriate to recall the good old proverb: "They do not go to a strange monastery with their own charter." It is unacceptable to criticize the monastery meal, the requirements for pilgrims. Monks are usually only photographed with permission. It is all the more unacceptable to scrutinize the inhabitants of the monastery, ask them questions about how and why they got here, whether they have a strict abbot, how often they offend them, etc.

It is no secret that not all monasteries can afford to maintain pilgrimage hotels at the level of a five-star hotel. In addition, it also has its own daily routine and rules of conduct. If you are not ready for this, it is better to look for a secular hotel in the same city. There will be more comfort, but there is no such feeling of belonging to the atmosphere of the monastery.

"+" Freedom is perhaps the main plus of such a trip. Having organized your trip, you can arrive on a convenient (including weekday) day for you. You can leave whenever you want, including earlier or later than the scheduled date. You can be at the service as long as you want, just walk in silence around the monastery and its environs, get to know the life of the monastery better.

“-” If you want to get acquainted with several monasteries at once, learn their history, visit the sources, visit several churches and do not risk driving your own car, this option is not for you. In addition, in some monasteries there will be difficulties with excursions - they are often ordered for a group.

Parish travel

It's great when you can go on a pilgrimage trip with the abbot and parishioners of your church. Joint pilgrimage trips not only allow the priest and parishioners to venerate the shrine, attend a divine service in a famous monastery, but also unite people, expand their horizons, educate and promote churching.

Such trips are organized by the abbot or, with his blessing, one of the temple staff. The route, the list of pilgrims, the cost of the trip are determined in advance. First of all, active helpers of the temple are sent on such trips, because the pilgrimage is a kind of encouragement.

If suddenly you have such an honor - to organize a joint trip, you should make a route in such a way as to combine worship of the shrine and acquaintance with historical, memorable places our homeland. It is advisable to plan the services of a guide or to arrange an excursion with the inhabitants of the monastery. In addition, the priest, organizer, or one of the educated laity should, either before or during the trip, tell about the holy places where the group is going. It will not be superfluous to recall the rules of conduct in the monastery, to talk about the Orthodox attitude towards shrines. When determining the route, the organizer must take care of the accommodation, meals, rest of the pilgrims. As a rule, only the cost of the trip is charged to the pilgrims.

"+" The most important and very significant plus is a trip with like-minded people. You are insured against unpleasant acquaintances and surprises, you will not be introduced to church superstitions, and you will not be offered to commit meaningless actions. The cost of such a trip, as a rule, is lower than in the company. Although at times the announced price may not seem small to you, keep in mind: many travel companies do not include food in the price.

"-" There is no way to be alone, to independently choose the route and time of stay at the shrine. It is imperative that the participants are required to obey the priest and the organizer of the trip (in fact, this is a plus for spiritual life, but out of habit it may seem like a minus). You will have to leave your piously ardent desire to write a note in this particular temple, to bathe in this very spring, to buy an icon at the moment when the bus is already running, you will have to leave at home. But the main disadvantage is different - it is a troublesome business and parishioners gather infrequently, as a rule, once a year, or even less often.

Professional pilgrims

Pilgrimage services at temples, monasteries, and sometimes at the Diocesan administration are very common today. The organization of such a service is carried out by individual employees who develop several popular routes, find pilgrims, and calculate the cost of travel. Typically, these services operate on a commercial basis.

Trips around historical sites with famous monasteries and temples are also organized by secular travel companies. But if you want to get acquainted with the holy places, devoting the maximum amount of time to this, difficulties await you. A secular company will not devote much time to divine services, they will tell you about spiritual traditions and shrines in passing (and not always correctly). Most of the time will be spent on buying souvenirs and visiting secular organizations. One of my acquaintances with travel agency went to Jerusalem. As a result, for several days they got acquainted with the agriculture and industrial enterprises of Israel and were very happy that they managed to escape for one day on a tour of the holy places. Therefore, it is better to familiarize yourself with the route in advance.

"+" You can go on a pilgrimage at any time. Many pilgrimage services organize trips specifically for weekends and church holidays, which allows you to plan your vacation. You are devoid of organizational concerns: pay money and forget about the material side, focusing on the spiritual. In addition, the group will help you in case of unforeseen health situations.

"-" Anyone who can pay a certain amount is sent to such trips. Today there is a kind of fashion for "spiritual tourism". People far from the Church travel to monasteries and temples, vaguely understanding what they are looking for there. On the one hand, such trips are a type of missionary activity. There are many known cases when a person went on a trip as a tourist and returned as a pilgrim. But at the same time, such people are often not accustomed to attending divine services, do not understand what is important and what is secondary in an Orthodox church, with their conversations and actions they can embarrass the faithful parishioners. One group brings together people of the most varied degrees of church-going. For some, five or six hours of monastic service is a long-awaited joy, for others it is hard labor. The same applies to a fast meal, talking on the bus, etc. You need to be prepared for this.

In conclusion, I would like to say that any pilgrimage trip is a work and a spiritual feat. You should not count on mental and physical comfort if you go to work in a monastery or even just pray at revered shrines. And the more you are willing to endure, yield and humble yourself on this trip, the more joy, and most importantly, spiritual benefit it will bring you.

Marina Shmeleva

Bishop Pokrovsky and Nikolaev PAKHOMIY:

It's no secret that every day the rules for the transportation of children's groups are getting tougher and tougher. And this is true, because the most important thing for any parent is the safety of his child.

If you have gathered a group in which there are more than 8 children without legal representatives, then you need to be guided by the rules for the organized transportation of a group of children.

But those who are faced with the need to order a bus for schoolchildren for the first time face many questions:

  • What are the rules governing children's carriage?
  • Where to find good transport that meets the requirements of the government decree on child transportation?
  • What documents do I need to present to the school administration in order to be allowed to travel?
  • How to notify the traffic police that the trip will take place?

Let's try to figure it out together!

The rules for child transportation are regulated by the RF government decree No. 1177, which includes requirements for transport.

Not all transport companies have buses in their fleet equipped with everything necessary for children's transportation, namely:

  • Tachograph, as well as GLONASS or GLONASS / GPS satellite navigation equipment.
  • identification marks "Children"
  • sign indicating the permitted speed of 60 km / h
  • yellow or orange flashing beacon
  • seat belts
  • two first aid kits (car)
  • two wheel chocks
  • two easily removable fire extinguishers

Travel agency "On Seven Hills" has been on the tourism market for 18 years. During this time, we were able to conclude agreements with some of the leading transport companies that have buses in their fleets equipped with everything necessary for school trips.

If the excursion is conducted during school hours, then the director's order must be prepared on organizing the trip (excursion), safety briefing is carried out, written consent of the parents (legal representatives) to participate in the event (consent) is obtained, in some cases, organized in conjunction with the medical by an employee of an educational institution, examination of students by the payroll for their admission to participate in the event. Often, before signing the order, the school management requests a bunch of documents from the transport company, such as: a driver's license, a license to transport passengers, a contract for the installation of GLONASS equipment, a policy of compulsory civil liability insurance of vehicle owners, a compulsory civil liability insurance of a carrier for causing harm to life, health, property of passengers, a diagnostic card of the bus, etc. to make sure that the driver and the bus meet all the requirements. However, in reality, they thereby duplicate the work of the traffic police. Since 2017, notifications have been issued using a special service on the website of the traffic police. There, the data of the carrier, driver and bus are indicated in a convenient form. The notification is considered, corresponding to the beginning of the trip, by the traffic police department, and the applicant receives a response by mail with approval. In addition, not a single transport company will take the risk of paying a fine in the amount of 100 thousand rubles because of one that was not carried out according to the rules.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE RULES FOR ORGANIZED TRANSPORTATION OF GROUPS OF CHILDREN ALWAYS LIES ON THE CARRIER!

In addition to notifications, in which the identification number assigned to it must be indicated, with you on the trip in the printed form must be:

  • Movement schedule;
  • Written charter agreement between the customer and the transport company;
  • A list of appointed escorts (indicating the surname, first name, patronymic of each escort, his phone number);
  • List of children (indicating the last name, first name, patronymic, age and telephone number of the legal representative of each child);
  • , containing the order of boarding children on the bus;
  • Seating plan;
  • The schedule of the movement, which includes the estimated time of transportation, indicating the places and times of stops for rest and meals, and a route diagram.

If children are on the route according to the traffic schedule for more than 3 hours

  • List of a set of food products (dry rations, bottled water) according to assortment established by the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare or its territorial administration

Which is better: a guided tour or a self-guided tour? Sooner or later, everyone asks this question. Someone prefers organized tours, someone likes independent trips... I'll tell you about my own experience. I had to travel both on independent trips and organized through travel agencies. And in fact, and in another case, there were pluses and minuses.

Pros and cons of an organized tour

The main advantage here, in my opinion, is the ease of travel arrangements. Collected everything Required documents, paid money to a travel agency - and after a while a voucher was issued, visas were issued (if a trip abroad), tickets were bought. You can go. However, this plus is covered by many possible cons.

Plane or train tickets can be bought at a very inconvenient time and, if there are several airports in the city, at the most inconvenient of them. Instead of a regular scheduled flight, you can get a charter flight, and then how lucky - sometimes it will be an old plane with very inhospitable flight attendants and an overcrowded cabin.

So, I live relatively close to the Moscow Sheremetyevo airport. And getting to Domodedovo or Vnukovo can be very problematic. In addition, charter flights often take off early in the morning, you have to leave your home late at night, not getting enough sleep. Since public transport does not run at this time, and leaving a personal car in the parking lot at the airport means paying extra money, you have to order a taxi or ask your family and friends for a lift.

Often, on organized tours, you can pay extra for a hotel, for more money you can get a worse room. Not to mention the fact that you can be provided with an inconvenient hotel in terms of location and service.

Another disadvantage can be your fellow travelers. Unfortunately, not all tourists behave politely, they are ready to listen carefully to the guide and not be late for the bus. So, when I went to Spain - in and, then on the way back I cursed everything: the passengers demanded a movie. Not only was the sound quite loud, but the level of the films was also low. Because of this, the impressions of the trip were somewhat blurred.

In addition, organized tours are often time limited. This is especially true for tours in Europe, when in a few days you visit several cities, or even countries. As a result, on independent walks there is practically no time left.

On the other hand, it may turn out that you are lucky with the hotel, with the guide, and with fellow travelers. I fondly remember the trip this summer, everything was organized almost flawlessly.

If you choose last minute tours, then the cheapness of the trip can recoup all the possible disadvantages, which, however, may not exist.

It is also necessary to keep in mind that there are places where you can only get in as part of an organized group and accompanied by a guide. For example, in National parks , some museums.

Pros and cons of independent travel

Independent travel offers much more freedom than organized tours. You yourself find tickets, hotels. Now, with the development of the Internet, it has become easy. I usually use a search engine Aviasales, through which you can pick up and book flights and hotels, rent a car.

The network has a huge amount of information on cities and countries, both on special travel sites and in travel blogs, various travel guides are sold in stores, and you can download them from the Internet to your tablet. Well, then whoever likes it: someone needs to plan the entire route in advance, someone prefers to navigate on the spot.

Perhaps the only drawback (when it comes to a trip abroad) can be getting a visa: sometimes queues line up at the embassies almost at night. However, lately this happens less and less, many embassies and consulates organize special visa centers, where you can call in advance and sign up for a certain time. There are also special services that do it on their own.

For some, in independent travel, knowing a poor knowledge of a foreign language may be an obstacle. However, if you approach this issue creatively, then the language barrier is completely surmountable.

♦ These tips can be used not only in China:

In general, it seems to me that with the development of the Internet, the proportion of independent travel is increasing. In most cases, they turn out to be, moreover, very budgetary and affordable for almost everyone.

I prefer solo travel unless the tour's convenience outweighs its likely disadvantages. However, the cost of the tour can often be cheaper than traveling on your own. I talked about this in the article.
