Jumeirah Beach Dubai - azure sea and the best view of the Burj Al Arab hotel. Jumeirah Beach, United Arab Emirates: beach, vacations, reviews Jumeirah open beach is closed

I have long wanted to write about one of my favorite districts of Dubai, and finally, after another trip to this city, I managed to take enough photos to convey the atmosphere of Jumeirah Beach Residence at the height of the beach season.

Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) is, in our opinion, a microdistrict located in Dubai Marina near the beach.

On one side of the Jumeirah Beach Residences is one of the most recognizable areas of Dubai - Dubai Marina, on the other - The Walk and the complex The beach with a white beach.

A feature of the complex is that all buildings are located in close proximity to the gorgeous beach, most of the rooms and apartments have at least a side sea view.

Skyscrapers cast shadows on the beach at dawn

On weekends that differ from ours in the UAE (Friday and Saturday), JBR becomes a center of attraction for tourists and locals.

How to get to JBR?

You can get to JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residences) by metro, taxi or tram.

The closest metro station to Jumeirah Beach Residence is Jumeirah Lake Towers. But going from the station to the beach is quite far (about 15 minutes), the distances are very long.

Therefore, it is still more convenient to get by taxi. However, there are traffic jams in the Jumeirah in the evening.

The tram stop is quite close to the beach, but tram traffic is not provided everywhere, not all areas of Dubai can be reached by it.

Jumeirah Beach Residence

Probably the main attraction of JBR is a gorgeous multi-kilometer white sand beach!

The beach is very convenient for swimming: fine white sand, smooth entrance to the water, little or no waves.

The photos speak for themselves - the sea is very beautiful here.

There are quite a few people on the beach during the season, but there is no overcrowding feeling like some European resorts... There are noticeably more people on weekends - Friday and Saturday.

Jumeirah Beach Residence is public, free. There is a rental of umbrellas and sun loungers with towels on the beach. Rental prices cannot be called low - about $ 50 per day for two.

In Dubai, there are both private hotel beaches and large city beaches, where anyone can relax. These are the beaches Jumeirah Beach and Al Mamzar Beach... The first stretches from Palm Jumeirah to the Dubai Marine Hotel Beach Resort& SPA 5 *, and the second is located north of the beaches of Jumeirah on a bulk peninsula near the border with Sharjah.

Palm Jumeirah

On the bulk island Palm Jumeirah there are many beaches, but hotel guests rest there, residential complexes or owners of their own villas. There are no public city beaches, like on the coast, where anyone could get free of charge.

Talking about the beaches of Dubai, one cannot ignore Jumeirah Beach, which is one of the top most popular beaches in the United Arab Emirates. It is famous not only for its delicate sand and azure sea, but also for the proudly towering Burj Al Arab sail hotel. In this article, our photos and review of Jumeirah Beach in Dubai. In addition, it was not without useful information about hotels and transport, as well as the pros and cons of the beach.

Photos of Jumeirah Beach Dubai

To better understand the whole setting and atmosphere of the beach, I made a complete panorama of it. As you can see, Jumeirah Beach in Dubai does not have a long coastline, it is a relatively small bay, the waters of which are divided into three parts.

Click on the panorama of Jumeirah Beach to view it in more detail.

Each part of Jumeirah Beach has a different depth, which is why while in one half of the beach, where it is quite shallow, they swim in full force ...

The other has red flags that warn of the danger. Accordingly, it is impossible to climb into the water here, the rescuers whistle at once with all their might.

There are a lot of people, as you can see in the photo. This is one of the most crowded beaches in the Arab Emirates.

Therefore, if you want a quiet relaxing holiday, then Jumeirah Beach is hardly suitable for this.

For lovers of silence, I recommend Al Sufouh beach or - beautiful deserted beaches, in which the frantic rhythm of the world metropolis is not felt.

Services and infrastructure on Jumeirah Beach in Dubai:

  • there are no umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach - vacationers come with their own towels or bedspreads, on which they sunbathe;
  • there are two rescue towers - rescuers keep watch and whistle at the slightest disturbance of order;
  • there is only one cafe on the beach with snacks and light fast food, it is already closer to the road;
  • there are no changing cabins, it is better to come to the beach immediately in a swimsuit;
  • next to the Jumeirah beach is one of the most adrenaline water parks in the world - Wild Wadi.

Of course, the main vacationers are tourists who want to make a memorable shot in front of the famous Burj Al Arab sail hotel. Mishuta and I decided not to get out of the crowd and also snapped the camera shutter)

Therefore, most of the visitors do not even go into the water. But Jumeirah Beach in Dubai is awesome shallow and soft sand, in which there are practically no shells (only sometimes they come across in the water), as well as an incredibly clear blue-green sea, so it is tempting to plunge here at least once.

In general, Jumeirah Beach in Dubai is perfect for relaxing in the sun and swimming. If people flickering back and forth are a little annoying, you can stay in a hotel near the beach to go out to take sun and sea baths right in the morning, while tourists have not yet come in large numbers.

Jumeirah Beach hotels in Dubai

As many have already guessed, the most popular and impressive next to Jumeirah Beach is the sail hotel - the symbol of Dubai.

Below is a list of all hotels near the beach:

All of them are five-star, the price of a night in which reaches $ 1000, but the level of luxury, of course, is prohibitive.

The only affordable hotel on Jumeirah Beach is a great option right on the first line. Compared to the sky-high prices of neighboring hotels, this is a great alternative for a vacation near Jumeirah Beach Dubai.

How to get to the UAE Jumeirah beach

If you settle in another area of Dubai, then you can always just skate to Jumeirah Beach for the sake of variety and pleasure. It should be noted that it is included in most tourist excursions in Dubai. But you can get here on your own in several ways.

Get to Jumeirah Beach by taxi

Taxis in Dubai can be ordered online, the cost depends on the route.

The convenience of this method is that the price for the trip is known in advance. At the same time, ordinary city taxis on the meter wind up only this way due to the driver circling around unfamiliar neighborhoods for a tourist.

Get to Jumeirah Beach in Dubai by bus

First of all, I would like to say that the metro to the beaches of Dubai is not stretched, therefore, you still have to go by bus from the stations (walking, to put it mildly, is a long way). But the road goes right along the beach.

The movement on it cannot be said to be strong, because public transport still runs a block "higher" from the beach - there is another highway running in parallel. But still, the stop is just a stone's throw away.

The most convenient way to get to the beach is from the bus stop Umm Suqeim, Park(it is located a block higher from the coastline). The following bus lines stop on it:

  • 8 - walks along the coastline through Dubai Marina to the Gold Souk in Deira;
  • 88 - walks along the coastline through many beaches to Deira;
  • 81 - walks from the metro station Mall of the emirates to the end station Dubai mall.

The last option is used by tourists most often. As you can, for example, shop at the famous Mall of Emirates, then take the 81st bus to Jumeirah Beach - take pictures there and relax, and then again take the same route to the Dubai Mall, where the Burj tower is located Khalifa and evening fountain show.

Jumeirah Beach Dubai on the map

On the map below, I marked the beaches of Dubai and Sharjah, including Jumeirah Beach. By clicking on the tags, you can briefly read about each of the beaches, or follow the link to detailed review with photo.

We can say that Jumeirah Beach Dubai is a fairly famous landmark in the UAE, thanks to its proximity to the symbolic Burj Al Arab hotel. Nevertheless, despite the high attendance by tourists, there is a beautiful sea and a clean beach, where you can calmly relax until 10 am.
