1. Kostroma (budget: 2 980 rubles)

In one of the centers of the Golden Ring, the excursion should start from Susaninskaya Square - the central square of Kostroma, popularly nicknamed "Frying Pan" for a long time due to its round shape. Several years ago, a bronze monument to the dog Bobka appeared in the center of the square, and both adults and children like to take pictures on its back. Standing on the main square, you can tell children about the Fire Tower, which is a truly unique symbol of Kostroma. Despite its aesthetic appearance, it was of great importance: it protected Kostroma and the region from fires. Emperor Nicholas I in 1834, visiting Kostroma, saw the Fire Tower and exclaimed: "I don't have one like this in St. Petersburg!" By the way, in the Fire Tower itself, fascinating excursions are held about the history of fires in Kostroma and about the tower itself. Kostroma is considered the birthplace of the Snow Maiden, thanks to the story of the same name by A.N. Ostrovsky. There is a real Terem of the Snow Maiden, where the snowy beauty welcomes guests all year round. You can order an interactive tour of the Terem - this is a walk in the company of fairy-tale characters: Brownie, Domovikha, the scientist cat Bayun. A puppet show about the snow maiden awaits children in the room. A special place in this excursion is occupied by the direct meeting with the Snow Maiden, during which the fabulous granddaughter of Santa Claus shares her secrets, talks about her life. Also during the tour, visitors will hear Slavic myths and legends. The Ice Room is considered to be a real highlight of the Snegurochka's Terem Kostroma. This hall is open all year round, it maintains a negative temperature, minus 14 degrees. Wall decorations, sculptures, even crockery are all carved out of ice by local artisans. In the ice hall, children are offered to taste fabulous sweet drinks, and adults - Russian drinks stronger from ice cups. In summer, guests are given warm clothes and felt boots for visiting it. The Kostroma region is one of the ten most ecologically clean regions of Russia. There is really clean air, stunning nature. One of the most popular places for those who come to Kostroma with children - Sumarokovskaya moose farm. Take bread with you - the children will be allowed to feed the moose. And there is also one special place in the Kostroma region - the State nature reserve"Kologrivsky forest".

2. Veliky Novgorod (budget: 3,150 rubles)

Sights that everyone who comes to Veliky Novgorod must see are the Novgorod Kremlin (Detinets) and the St. Sophia Cathedral. The Novgorod Kremlin complex, built back in 1044 by order of Yaroslav, includes 8 towers. The highest of them is Kokuy. If you climb it, you can see the picturesque panorama of Veliky Novgorod and take beautiful photos. The Children's Museum Center, located in the very center of the Novgorod Kremlin, as part of the Weekend Club, organizes excursions and master classes in various crafts for children with their parents. In the Kremlin and its environs, excavations are constantly being carried out: here and there the earth is cut off in layers, the contours of future museum exhibits emerge from under it - the remains of ancient structures, so far lovingly sheltered from the rain with polyethylene. So, the children will certainly be interested here - you can not just wander and look at the ancient buildings, but also feel the "archaeological romance", feel how deeply hidden the secrets of the centuries. State Museum Artistic culture of the Novgorod land invites little Novgorodians and guests of the city to master classes on painting porcelain in the "Museum Porcelain Workshop". On January 20, 2012, in Veliky Novgorod, “Zal military glory”, Its exposition reflects the thousand-year history of the participation of Novgorodians in the defense of their city and Fatherland.

3. Kazan (budget: 3 160 rubles)

The Kazan Kremlin is the central attraction of the city. For children, the doors of several museums are open here and interesting excursions... The Kul Sharif Mosque tells about history, culture and religion. The Museum of Islamic Culture, located inside the mosque, will seem exciting and interesting to children - here you can see a model of the Kaaba, look at ancient coins and get an answer to the question of why Muslims carry a compass with them. Another museum for children has been opened on the territory of the Kremlin - the Museum of Natural History of Tatarstan. Here children will see the skull of a saber-toothed tiger, models of dinosaurs, the skeleton of a mammoth. The first floor in the museum will tell kids about various cosmic phenomena, the second will tell about the evolution of life on Earth. The Museum of the 1000th Anniversary of Kazan, which is also located inside the Kremlin, will show children and their parents the history of the city, folk costumes and a collection of weapons. There are three theaters in Kazan where you can go with children. The Youth Theater constantly pleases its visitors with various musical performances. Performances often overlap with the school curriculum, which is very useful for children. The Kazan Zoo and Botanical Garden is open all year round. Here you can see lions, tigers, leopards, polar bears, camels, hippopotamus, monkeys and birds. Crocodiles, lizards, snakes and turtles live in the terrarium, and the greenhouses have a collection of tropical and Mediterranean plants. Also for inspection are offered unique products of the factory, made in different years by its outstanding artists and jewelers. If you wish, you can order a master class conducted by the factory's artists and create enamel miniatures with your own hands. The Frog Princess Museum was opened in March 2012 in a building built in the 1790s, which belonged to the Malyshev merchants of Rostov. An interactive game-journey through the fairy tale "The Frog Princess" is offered to its visitors. Having crossed the threshold of the museum, you will find yourself in the world of a fairy tale - you will be involved in an interactive action and will give you an unforgettable experience for both children and adults. Trials await you in choosing brides, as well as royal sons; you will show your skill, like the royal daughters-in-law; you will be treated to the wonderful oven in which Vasilisa the Wise baked her bread; you will visit the Koscheev kingdom and fight the formidable king Koschey the Immortal ... And there is also an exhibition of frog figurines in the museum. In the museum "Onion Sloboda" you will be told the secrets of Rostov gardeners, you will find out what is the peculiarity of the Rostov family onion, you will see many unique crafts from onions and taste the onion pie. The owners of the settlement will tell you about onion tales. Fun games, contests and amusements are held for guests. Whoever shows ingenuity, will answer tricky questions - he will receive a gift. 14 km from Rostov, on the ancient trade route from Moscow to Yaroslavl, there is a unique Baklushi Museum, where centuries-old traditions of folk crafts and the sincere atmosphere of a hospitable Russian hut are preserved. The Semibratov masters treated the baklush with respect - it is with this unprepossessing churochka that the history of the spoon begins - the most necessary item on the Russian table. Even small children knew how to prick blanks with a hatchet, dry them and cut them, but, as you know, every business has its own secrets.

The Archangel Michael Monastery is very beautiful - the second most important architectural ensemble Veliky Ustyug, the Dymkovskaya Sloboda Church Ensemble and the Trinity-Gleden Monastery with magnificent carved royal doors and an iconostasis. In addition, you can visit the "Museum of the History of Veliky Ustyug" in the Usov House - one of the old Ustyug merchant houses. In Veliky Ustyug, there is a monument to bast shoes, 2.5 meters high, carved from an aspen log. Such an unusual attraction attracts tourists to the city, and is also a place of celebration for the spouses celebrating their "bast shoes" wedding (three years). Well, the children who come to Veliky Ustyug, of course, are primarily interested in its attractions associated with Ded Moroz - the city Residence of Ded Moroz with the Throne Hall, where funny theatrical performances and master classes are held.

The Museum Children's Center is a large and very significant exposition, because raising children, introducing them to the spiritual world, accustoming them to their native history, we create a full-fledged modern society. There are a lot of interesting things here! Children will see how they studied at school a couple of centuries ago, what writing utensils and textbooks were, they will attend a lesson in an old Russian school. With children to Europe in autumn

If you are planning to travel to Europe with your children in the fall, then it would be wise to combine excursions that are interesting to you with visits to places that will delight your children. These can be toy museums, amusement parks, water parks, zoos and dolphinariums.

When resting in autumn, you should definitely visit one of the largest indoor water parks in the world - Tropical Islands, located near Berlin. There is also an excellent amusement park - "Europapark". The famous Legoland amusement park is located in the city of Günzburg, 100 km from Munich (Legoland), where you can plunge into a world built from Lego constructors and ride 40 attractions. Children over 6-7 years old will love the German Museum in Munich, dedicated to the achievements of technology and natural sciences, with many interactive exhibits.

The most attractive place for children is undoubtedly Disneyland Paris. In general, there is a lot of entertainment for children in this city: Aquabulvar water park, Asterix amusement park (Asterix), La Villette Science Town (La Villet), Zoo in the Bois de Vincennes (Zoo de Vincennes) and much more. The extraordinary virtual amusement park Futuroscope in Poitiers invites its visitors to plunge into the fascinating world of the future. If you are planning to relax on the Mediterranean coast of France, then there is also a lot of entertainment for children: there is a huge Maryland water park near Cannes, where you can see many exotic marine animals and ride attractions (open until the end of September), in the resort town of Fréjus are located a large water park "Aquatica" (open until mid-September) and a safari park. And in Nice it is worth visiting the Phoenix Botanical Park.

If you are going on an excursion to, in the capital of the country with children, you can go to the Toy Museum (Muzeum hracek) or to the Bekiland Children's Entertainment Center (Beckiland)... It is also famous for its zoo. Not far from Brno, in the town of Vyškov, there is a Dinopark, where more than two dozen life-sized dinosaurs “live” among the green trees. Interactive exhibits at the iQpark Science and Research Center in Liberec will delight both children and adults.

At sea with children in autumn

If you decide to spend a vacation with your children, then a trip to the sea is an ideal option, because in this case they will definitely not be bored. And, of course, the health benefits of a seaside holiday cannot be underestimated. However, if you first of all think about the health benefits, you need to keep in mind that a week of autumn break will not be enough. In order to achieve some kind of healing effect, you need to spend at least 15-20 days by the sea. At the same time, you need to take care to protect yourself and your children from sunburn, which can pretty much spoil your vacation.

September

In September for beach holiday resorts are still open on the Mediterranean and Black Seas. This is very convenient, since getting to these resorts is nevertheless closer than, say, to the Maldives or Thailand. And when choosing a place to relax with children, especially those of preschool age, the duration of the flight is a very important factor. It is also important that there is a comfortable beach with a good entry into the sea. From this point of view, the resorts of Side and Alanya in Turkey, Larnaca and Limassol in Cyprus, the islands of Corfu, Rhodes and Crete in Greece, Dunes, Sozopol and the Riviera in Bulgaria are well suited for a trip with children. All these resorts should have good weather throughout September, but it is still better to go there in the first half of the month.

October

In October, the weather on the Mediterranean coast is already becoming unpredictable - somewhere else it can be hot, and somewhere in the week it can charge rains. At this time, for a trip to the sea, the resorts of Egypt are preferable. Hurghada is famous for its good sandy beaches with convenient access to the sea. In addition, there are several water parks here. In terms of weather, October is one of the best months to travel to Egypt, when the summer heat has subsided but not cool yet. If you are not afraid of a long flight and a rather high cost of the tour, an excellent option for families with children by the sea are Maldives... True, you will have to entertain the child yourself, because you will not find here either water parks or serious animation. But the weather, beaches, sea - everything here seems to have been specially created by nature for a relaxing family vacation.

November

In November, when the Mediterranean is already unambiguously cold, and in Egypt, unpleasant winds are making themselves felt more and more, you can go to the UAE with your children. As winter approaches, the heat there drops to tolerable limits (about + 30ºC), and the water is still warm. This country compares favorably with excellent service and cleanliness both in hotels and on the beaches, which is very important when vacationing with children. For a family vacation, it is better to go to Sharjah, as there are many hotels located in the first line from the sea. In order not to get bored, from Sharjah you can get out to neighboring Dubai, where there is a magnificent Wonderland water park, an excellent zoo and, of course, an uncountable number of shops.

Holidays with children in nature in autumn

Beach resorts aren't the only place your family can enjoy their health and pleasure. The popularity of "Green Tourism" is not in vain gaining momentum these days. Imagine a pretty cottage with soothing mountain and forest views. In such a place you can really relax your body and soul. Of course, children in such a place will have to entertain themselves: go with them to pick mushrooms and berries, explore the paths of the surrounding forests, swim in a lake or river, but this is great, because in everyday life you can not spend much time with your child. Among other things, in such places you can usually ride horses or ATVs, go fishing or go to nearby natural attractions - in general, there is something to do so as not to get bored.

In autumn, you can go to Ukraine: to the Crimea or the Carpathians. This country is convenient for families with children, the absence of a language barrier and relatively low prices... In the Carpathians, a peaceful rest can be combined with excursion trips. Here you can go to the picturesque Synevyr Lake, climb Hoverla, the most high summit Carpathian mountains, visit the Transcarpathian Museum of Architecture and Life and see many other attractions. In addition, a vacation in the Carpathians is a great opportunity to taste national dishes of Ukrainian cuisine. In Crimea, things are not very good with Ukrainian cuisine, more often Tatar national dishes are served here, but the number of natural and historical sights on square kilometer it just goes off scale here. If you get tired of exploring the surroundings of your cottage, you can go on an excursion, for example, in unique caves Marble and Emine-Bair-Khosar or Nikitsky Botanical Garden, where the famous "Chrysanthemum Ball" takes place in October. Yes, and to the sea for a day, if you wish, it is not difficult to get out.

If you and your children like walking in scenic spots, a great destination for autumn holiday will become the Alps. Moreover, you can safely choose a hotel in any country that

The question "where to go with the child on vacation" arises in the minds of parents of any degree of responsibility a couple of times a year. Actually, it occurs as often as often these very holidays come. This post will be full of links and titles, so you will definitely find the information you need if you read it carefully.

What should you start from if you decide to consciously approach this issue:

  • from the number of days;
  • the way you will get to your destination;
  • what you want to see (museums, entertainment centers etc);
  • from the age of the child;
  • from financial capabilities.

If you are traveling to point B by car, then, when planning a route, I advise you to find out what interesting stopping points you will meet on your way. In order not to sit inside the car all day (or several). Of course, if you want to get to your destination faster, then you don't have to stop.

Do not forget that there are cities, although they are insanely interesting for any age group, but such that there is nothing to do there for more than two or three days. Therefore, if you went with your child on a week-long vacation, then include a couple more cities in the route. The best example of this is Kostroma. She'll get bored in a week.

In the last two years, everyone without exception has been going to Kazan. A good city We were there, and you can spend five days there with the benefit of spiritual development. There you and national cuisine eat, and look at the mixture of architecture, and go to museums, and ride around the neighborhood (quite realistically, by public transport).

We also gave good advice on Kazan:

If you go to Kazan by car, then I strongly advise you to hit Nizhny Novgorod at least by the edge. Or go to it purposefully. For a week you will not get bored for sure. We liked Nizhniy even more than Kazan (sometimes it happens).

Very interesting from our point of view (because we were there) - Myshkin, Gorokhovets, Suzdal and Vladimir. One day is enough for the first two cities, for the others - at least a couple of days. And our good friends last year went there on vacation (spring).

On autumn holidays two years ago we went to Vologda, Rostov, Pereslavl-Zalessky and Kostroma. We didn't stay for a long time, but the trip was more than successful. Each of the cities is quite suitable for both children and adults. I advise you to spend a couple of days on Vologda and Pereslavl, I spoke about Kostroma above, one day will be enough for Rostov.

You can study our report in detail here:

Find out in advance if there are excursions in the cities where you are going. Not sightseeing bus tours (although they can be quite good), but individual excursions... I am very impressed with their proposals for any age, wallet and preferences. Click on the banner and type in the city where you are going into the search engine, and you will have the happiness of choosing:

There is a website QuestPlanet, who offers to abandon guides altogether and walk around the cities on their own, while going through the quest in parallel. But this type of entertainment is hardly suitable for children under eight years old.

You can read about where to look for suitable excursions here:

Where to go with children in Russia - our Wishlist

A couple of years ago, I really wanted to go with my child to Veliky Ustyug... And now she stopped wanting. But only in the context of winter. I really want to visit Ustyug in the summer - to look at Santa Claus without winter decoration. And such a trip will be twice as cheap as during the peak season. Veliky Ustyug in December and January is very expensive and packed. I do not want.

If you have not been to Moscow or St. Petersburg, then both cities are perfect for holding new year holidays with a school-age child.

  • What to see: everything. For children, there is a lot of new and interesting things for any size of the parental wallet. Thank God that at least we don't need to go to St. Petersburg, we want to leave it.

Arkhangelsk... What to see with children:

  • Museum of Folk Crafts and Crafts (Uemsky, Zavodskaya str., 7). The museum has several expositions, ranging from fairy tales, continuing with the crafts and life of the peoples of Pomorie and ending with military finds. According to reviews, the museum is decorated interestingly and with soul.
  • Museum "Lad". It has two halls - "city" and "village". I looked at the photos on Google - very interesting.

I really like Elbrus... We were there in May, in the off-season, and I really want to return. It remains to learn how to ride alpine skiing by ourselves and teach Tanya. An analogue of the Elbrus region is Dombay or Khibiny. Although it is possible without skis - just get some air.

On vacation you can go to Rostov-on-Don(and not only with a child, there are more than enough "adult" attractions there). What to see? I didn’t look for long. There are several children's towns in Rostov-on-Don, in which there will certainly be thematic programs for children on vacation, and a wonderful zoo, in which, as the reviews show, you can walk all day. We are in Rostov-on-Don, perhaps we will go before the long holidays - in December. If everything goes well, we will tell you upon arrival.

And I, as always, quietly envy the Muscovites - they can go on vacation with their child to any "merchant" city - from St. Petersburg all Kolomna, Rostov, and other district delights are much further. And in winter it's good there!

Even on vacation, I would go to Siberia... Just because you want to plunge into real frosts. But this is still from the category of fantasy and not by car.

Where to go on vacation in Europe

If your soul lies not in Russia, but abroad, then you can go on vacation with a child to a relatively budgetary one (the climate is similar to Russian, interesting places a lot, hotels are not very expensive and you can see a couple of cities in a week).

I would, if in this moment I was faced with a choice of where to go on vacation and would dream of Europe, I would wave to. But going there by car means losing a couple of days on the road. Therefore, there remains the option of air travel. But in Munich and Nuremberg, you will spend the time with credit.

The airfare can be viewed here:

Is Belarus considered a foreign country? No matter. It is quite possible to go there on vacation, and seven days is enough for the eyes and ears for a detailed study of all the sights. Plus it's cheap there.

All our adventures in Belarus are here:

You can also go to Scandinavia on vacation. I will never stop admiring Stockholm, probably never. And I will want to go there again and again. And when the question "where to go with the child on vacation" matures, I will again think about the island

Summer has passed imperceptibly, the sun is no longer warming, and at work only now they have given a vacation. And everything would seem to be nothing, it is quite possible to relax on your favorite sofa. But, looking into children's eyes, you ask yourself: “Where to go to autumn vacation relax?". After all, little schoolchildren have almost a whole academic year ahead, for which they need to stock up on strength and energy.

When choosing a place to relax with children during the autumn holidays, it is worth considering several nuances:

The amount allocated from the family budget for travel;
the time the family has for the trip together;
the distance that they are ready to overcome for relaxation and acquiring new impressions.

Autumn holidays in Sochi

If there is no desire to go to distant lands, or the family budget does not allow you to fork out for overseas vacations, you can have a good time with your children in Russia.

Many, of course, want to make up for lost time over the summer and move closer to the sea to breathe in plenty of clean sea air. And first of all, the choice falls on. This city is magnificent at any time of the year. Autumn weather in Krasnodar Territory usually still warm, and nature is replete with various colors.

It is rather difficult to decide what to visit in the city in the first place. Indeed, in Sochi there are a lot of interesting places for both adults and children. One of them is the Riviera Park. On an area of about 15 hectares, almost 250 species of various trees and shrubs grow, many sculptures and several fountains have been erected. But the most interesting thing for children will be in, where the whole family can have fun from the heart, test yourself for accuracy and dexterity, and also tickle the nerves on extreme attractions. In the Riviera Park, you should definitely visit the dolphinarium and the oceanarium and take pictures of the children with their inhabitants.

A visit to the Arboretum in Sochi will be no less exciting. A walk along its alleys, where you can see vegetation from all over the world, can be compared to a journey into a fairy tale.

Well, what about without a photo against the background of the Zmeikovsky, Agursky and Orekhovsky falls, the Volkonsky dolmen and the statue of the mighty Prometheus. It is impossible to come to Sochi with children and not visit the largest aquarium in Russia or not walk on your own long bridge in the world.

Autumn Crimea

Crimea will give every family an unforgettable autumn vacation. V the Velvet season on the coast there is no such tiring bustle and traffic jams, heat and scorching sun, as in summer. The water is still warm, and there is a lot of free space on the beaches. Children can frolic. At the same time, parents can relax calmly, without looking for their child among the crowd of sunbathers.

However, there are days when the sun hides behind the clouds, and a cool wind blows from the sea. At such times, it is best to go on excursions with your child. And for this there is in the Crimea.

For children, a visit will bring great joy:

1. Water parks in Evpatoria, Koktebel, Sudak, Alushta and other cities and towns.
2. Dolphinariums, also available in many cities of the Crimea.
3. Yalta Zoo "Fairy Tale" where you can not only watch the animals, but also get to know them better, feed them.
4. Famous castles of Crimea. Among which you should definitely see the Swallow's Nest, Vorontsov Palace, Massandra Palace, Yusupov Palace, Chufut Kale and many other equally unique historical buildings.
