How many minutes a long-distance train takes. Long-distance trains

Lazarevsky has three big pluses. First, reasonable prices. Secondly, it is a quiet green town. Thirdly, this is a place that makes me nostalgic - since my seven-year-old was brought here by the sea by my parents. However, I would rather tell about all this in a separate review.

But Lazorevsky has a global minus, which is able to cover all the advantages of rest. This is the Russian Railways station, where trains stop for a couple of minutes on UNKNOWN ON WHAT PLATFORM and with the risk of blocking the approach to the apron by ANOTHER STAFF.

Yes, I know it is indecent to use Caps Lock. But I cannot do otherwise! Otherwise, I can only swear!

So, we arrived at Lazorevskoye, at four o'clock in the morning, thanks to the conductor, we quickly threw our suitcases onto the platform and drove to Omega, whose representatives met us in a minibus. The rest started beautifully. If only it ended the same way!

Here I will take a deep breath, cross out the obscene paragraph and try to describe the extreme boarding of the Adler - St. Petersburg train within the framework of censorship.

We returned with a dozen bags and suitcases, because we immediately went from Lazarevskoye to St. Petersburg (in general, we had a vacation program for a month). Moreover, kebabs, oriental sweets (many, many), Caucasian cheeses, tkemali sauces, spices, fruits, souvenirs ... In short, there was a lot of luggage. And what, we have no right? In the opinion of Russian Railways, apparently, we do not.

We arrived in advance, carried our luggage to the center of the first platform. Well, now we need to find out from which path - from the first, second or third - our train, coming from Adler, will leave (here we are idiots, it would be better to take a taxi to Adler and sit quietly in the carriage there!).

So, I go into the station building. And the trash begins. In the window of the attendant they bark at me:

- Which way? How do I know?! As it comes, you will find out!

This is the station attendant speaking. This is said to the passenger fifteen minutes before the train arrives. Which stands in Lazarevskoye for two minutes. Check out the service?

I go up to the gentlemen policemen. The policemen shrug their shoulders. Well, of course, they have other responsibilities.

OK. We take a position in the center of the first platform, opposite the wooden passage to the second. We get into the sprinter's stance. We squeeze the handles of the bags in our hands. Dozens of other passengers freeze in exactly the same tense stance. We are all looking at the narrow passage. If the train's approach to the second or third track is announced, we together, in a crowd, crushing each other, will rush to the second platform.

They announce the arrival of the train ... damn it, on the second track! Forward! STOP!!! What is there FLASHING ON THE RAILS TO ENCOUNTER THE CROWD, what's a hundred meters away ?!

And this is another passenger, ARRIVING ON THE FIRST WAY!

So, I'll take a sip of some water and try to paint the picture calmly. Lazarevskoe. Two platforms. Three ways. One overland crossing. Not a single one aboveground or underground. And trains arriving at the same time on the second and first tracks.

Some of the passengers (the most daring) flew along the ground crossing with suitcases and screaming children right in front of the arriving passenger. I'm a coward. I froze in a stupor with five bags on the first platform. I could not run across the rails ten meters from the muzzle of the electric locomotive. I was cut off from my train.

Again. I WAS CUT OFF FROM MY TRAIN by another train, and my train is two minutes away. And this line-up stood up for a long time.

While I stood and stupid, other passengers, who also remained on this "shore", rushed around the unexpected obstacle. Men, women, children, pensioners and even a disabled person on crutches, plus a bunch of luggage, moved past the stretched train to the rails. Damn, I will never forget what it is like to cross the rails with several bags a couple of meters from the locomotive. It's very scary. Damn, this is a simple transde.

But here we are the whole crowd between the two trains. On a narrow strip between the first and second tracks. And we stupidly peel AT THE CLOSED DOORS OF THE CARS. And with what joy is it to them to be open? The doors open onto the platform!

The most active passengers start running and knocking. In some places, disgruntled physiognomies of the conductors begin to appear.

Two minutes have already passed. The train is about to move. But the conductors lazily inform us that "we will stand still." (Indeed, the train stood for ten to fifteen minutes). But when it starts is unclear. We begin to climb into any wagons just to get in.

Throwing my bags. I climb up, sigh. I don't have a ticket. I don't have tickets, money and passports (my relatives turned out to be bolder and managed to cross the crossing). The cell phone went out. Yes, it’s my own fault that I didn’t charge it. Therefore, I get out of the carriage on the second track and go in search of my relatives ... Who have already moved behind the carriages, in the gap between the tracks! And they are trying to get to the first platform in order to pick me up from there!

Yo-mine! And we are not alone. Other passengers rush between platforms and trains ... With bags ... With children ...

In short, our "Adler - St. Petersburg" has started. The mountains and the sea swam through the windows of the vestibule. Checked our tickets. With trembling hands, she opened the packet of Pal Mela. I smoked a half pack. Well, now there is nothing left. Nonsense - sneaking your luggage into your carriage!

I explain the location. I don't remember the exact numbers of the cars, but something like this. Half of the luggage is in the fifteenth carriage. The second half, which I pinned, is in the fifth. And our places are either in eighth or tenth. Somewhere like that.

Among this luggage scattered throughout the entire composition - a camera, a netbook, barbecue and other valuable things.

Let's go to collect. And the legs are already breaking. The hands are shaky. Nervous tic. Shakes really. Waste after the experience. And with suitcase bags - along the vestibules, along the passages, along reserved seat cars!

They sat down and got out brandy. Even though he was local, he went well. We tried to talk, to joke, but the result was only a mate with pretexts.

Impressions are for life. We went abruptly. Free extreme from Russian Railways!

It would seem that it can be difficult when traveling by train. Sit down and go quietly. But, unfortunately, from time to time I notice that many people often do not know their rights and opportunities, and because of this they have an inconvenience when traveling. On the other hand, having worked as a conductor for some time, I had the opportunity to look at the passengers from the outside, and I understand that some things people do contrary to logic.

If necessary, read on the "Russian Railways" train, as well as on what you can save on and. And today we will talk about little tricks, which, unfortunately, not everyone knows about.

11 little tricks when traveling on the Russian Railways train

1. Return of the train ticket

Purchased train tickets can be returned, it is no secret to anyone. At the same time, if you check in earlier than 8 hours before the train departure, you will only lose the change fee (by the end of 2017 - 192.7 rubles). The later you return the ticket, the less money will be returned to you.

But it is interesting that even if you missed the train, tickets can be returned anyway... It is possible no later than 12 hours after the train departs. The money will be returned to you small, but it is still better than zero. It may be more profitable for you to reissue a ticket for the next train (of course, you will also lose some of the money).

Details on the return of train tickets to. Details about how much you lose if you return a train ticket.

2. Free toilet at the train station

All train stations have a toilet. At the entrance, the cost is written there. But if you decide to visit it no more than two hours before the departure of your train, then you must be admitted for free... Show the ticket at the entrance and go through. It can be useful, especially considering the fact that after departure the toilets in many carriages do not open immediately.

3. For those who like to resort at the last moment

If you were in time for the train in the last minutes before departure, then it is not necessary to try to get into your carriage. According to the instructions, if there are no more than 5 minutes left before the train leaves, then you must be put into any carriage on your train. True, this is provided that your ticket is printed on a two-layer orange form of the Express ACS at the box office or on a single-layer one in the terminal (by the way, a ticket with electronic registration can also be printed in the terminal).

In theory, paper e-ticket prints can be a problem, but they shouldn't. The conductors are now looking not at them, but at their lists. It rarely happens that they do not have lists. Usually then planted over a printout.

Pay particular attention to this rule if you board the train at stations where the parking time is 1-2 minutes. More than once I saw a picture of some plump woman in a hurry running at such a station to her carriage, does not have time, and begins to scold trains, conductors and everything in the world. Although, in fact, she herself is to blame for not getting into the first carriage that came along. At such a station, I would definitely take care of getting a ticket on an orange form in advance, just in case.

Actually, it's better not to be late! Remember that no one will plant you on the move, even if the speed of the train is still very low: the conductor can be fined or fired for this.

4. Dry closets in adjacent wagons.

If you got on the train and found that the toilets in your carriage are of the old type and are closed at the stations, do not be discouraged. Perhaps you will find a dry closet in the next carriage.

In accordance with sanitary standards, Russian Railways already purchases only wagons with dry closets. Old carriages appear less and less often, but they still run. It is not uncommon now that you can meet a situation when old cars and new ones are seized in the same train (the irony is that the price will be the same for them). If you are unlucky enough to get into the old one, and there is an urgent need to visit the toilet while parking, try to bypass a couple of neighboring cars. Perhaps you can find a dry closet that will solve your problem.

5. Never use a regular toilet in stations!

If you still have an old-style toilet in your carriage, with a drain on the track, then please do not use it during stops! Really, don’t!

This rule was invented for a reason. It happens that the conductor did not have time / forgot to close the toilet in front of the station. In addition, at every station, where the parking lot is 1-2 minutes, you also do not run to close these doors. For these cases, there is the personal responsibility of the passenger!

At the same time, people walk at the station, fitters work. It will not be very pleasant for them if, excuse me, "the contents of the toilet bowl" will pour on their heads. For such a conductor can be fined.

Even if it seems to you that the train has stopped in the field, you do not need to use the toilet. Perhaps this is such a station)

If you went to the toilet while on the move, and the train suddenly arrived somewhere and stopped, then just do not wash it off until the train moves on. Seriously, that would be more correct.

6. Drinking water in the car

In titanium, you can draw water for tea, this, of course, is nothing new. At the same time, if suddenly you see that the temperature is far from 100 degrees, then remember that tea may still be able to be brewed. By experience I have found that a tea bag is brewed at a temperature of 70 degrees. Below is no longer possible.

On the other hand, if the water temperature is very low (this happens, for example, early in the morning or immediately after departure, if the guide forgot / did not have time to turn on the titanium), then do not be afraid that the water is not boiled. Titanium is designed in such a way that raw water cannot flow from the tap. If the temperature is low, it means that it was once boiling, and then it just cooled down.

Also, opposite the titanium, next to the service compartment, there is cold water. It is also boiled there, it comes from titanium. But the problem is that the pipes it goes through may be old, and it is not a fact that it will arrive. good quality... Personally, I don’t drink this water.

7. How to properly pour boiling water

When pouring boiling water into a glass, always keep the spoon in the glass and the glass in the cup holder. This will reduce the chances of the hot water splitting the glass. This rarely happens, but the possibility exists.

In addition, there is a rule in the instructions for guides, which, I think, will be useful for all people - if you need to carry two cupholders, then you should do it with one hand. The other hand should be free. This is in case the train suddenly brakes or turns, so that you can grab the handrail with your free hand and not scald anyone. Yes, and no more than two cupholders at a time.

8. Glass with a spoon

If you have your own tea or just want some water, you don't have to buy tea from the guide. The guide can provide a glass in a cup holder and a spoon free of charge. The key word is “may”. Earlier I wrote that he was obliged to do this (and it was), but in the comments they clarified, and I checked - according to the new rules, a glass with a spoon is provided if you buy tea. But important point lies in the fact that the conductors themselves do not always know about it. I interviewed several, they were very surprised, because, like me, they were sure that everything was free. So you can ask, but they will give or not give - this is already how lucky.

In addition, not always, but it happens that there are knives and forks in the carriages. Certainly free, but even less often there is chess. There should also be a first-aid kit, although they don't put anything sensible in it now. And also, if necessary, the head of the train can call doctors to the patient while parking at a large station.

9. Return things to where they came from

If suddenly, you took a glass with a cup holder (spoon, fork or whatever) from the conductor and went with him to the next carriage to your friends, then be sure to return the property exactly where you took it... If you think that you can return it in any carriage, and it will return to the right place, then you are mistaken. Each conductor is responsible for the property of his own car and is accountable for it. Yes, perhaps he will find out from the conductor of the next car that he has extra items. But this will not always be revealed. What can we say about the cars located far from each other. And if there is a shortage, the conductor will have to cover the cost from his own pocket. The spoon is inexpensive, but the cup holder is already noticeable. So don't neglect this rule!

10. Complaints book on the train

I have already mentioned that a complaint book can be requested from the conductor, if necessary. A book of reviews and suggestions is on every train and is kept in the headquarters car by the head of the train. If the conductor for some reason refuses to provide you with this book, then you can walk to the staff car yourself (by the way, do not forget to write about this fact too). It is located approximately in the middle of the train (ask any guide where it is). There, go directly to the head of the train. In general, you can ask to call the head of the train to your carriage to resolve any conflict situations.

When filing a complaint, indicate the date, route, train and carriage number, the name of the conductor, and describe in detail the essence of the problem. Of course, conflict situations are different, and not all of them are worth recording in the complaint book. But nevertheless, you need to be aware of such a possibility. The conductors are afraid of complaints, because they may deprive the conductor of the bonus, temporarily suspend or even fire the conductor. Consequently, once having received a complaint for a glass with a cup holder that was not provided free of charge, the next time he will be disobedient to break the rules.

It often happens that a passenger unreasonably demands some things. But then you will be directed to this by the head of the train.

In addition, you can write thanks to the conductor in the book of reviews. If you like the service, then do not hesitate to ask the guide to bring a book. Here they will bring it to you immediately, of course)

11. Do not fold the laundry before delivery!

Last but not least rule: never fold bedding before handing it in! Seriously, never, ever fold straight!

Some people think that if they put the laundry in a nice pile, the conductor will be more pleasant, or that it will be more comfortable, decent, etc. In fact, on the contrary, it is more inconvenient and more unpleasant!

1. What time (local or Moscow time) is indicated on my ticket?

If the departure station and the destination station are in Russia, Moscow time is indicated on the ticket. If the station of departure or the station of destination is located in other countries, then the ticket, as a rule, indicates the local time of a particular country. However, there are exceptions: for example, a railway station in the Kazakh city of Petropavlovsk is under the jurisdiction of Russian Railways and operates Moscow time.

It probably doesn't make sense to list all the exceptions here: as a rule, the ticket indicates at what time the train departs and arrives. We have also tried to take into account all such exceptions in the Yandex. Schedules service.

Formally, for a fast train, the average route speed should be at least 50 kilometers per hour, for a passenger train, less. In reality, this rule is not observed. Nowadays, fast trains can be distinguished by their ticket number and "by eye" - by fewer stops.

Such a gradation is valid in the countries of the former USSR, in other countries their own principles of train gradation apply.

Ambulances (round-the-year calls) - 1–150;
- ambulances (seasonal and one-time treatment) - 151-298;
- passenger (year-round circulation) - 301-450 and 601-698;
- passenger seasonal, single-use and children - 451-598;
- high-speed - 701-750;
- high-speed - 751–788;
- fast, served by trains of electric and diesel trains (except for high-speed and high-speed) - 801–898;
- service and special purposes - 901-920;
- tourist (commercial) - 921-940;
- human (freight trains with 10 or more carriages for people) - 941-960;
- cargo and passenger - 961-970;
- postage and luggage - 971–998.

Regular suburban and border (regional) - 6001-6998;
- suburban ambulances with reservation of seats - 7001–7098;
- fast suburban and urban - 7101-7598;
- service (special purpose) - 7601–7628.

The current updated schedule for Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Lithuania can be viewed on our service. In each of these countries, the websites of carriers and railway operators, as a rule, also have an up-to-date timetable.

It depends on the presence of passenger cars in them. As a rule, there are no such carriages in post-baggage trains, and therefore the passage of passengers is also impossible.

The following types of cars are indicated in tickets and train schedules in Russia and Ukraine:

M - VIP-carriage with 1- or 2-seater compartments, equipped with bathrooms and a shower. In such cars, only the entire compartment is sold;
L - SV (sleeping car), soft with double compartments, one-story and two-story;
K - compartment with four-seater compartments, one-story and two-story;
KB - compartment with a compartment-buffet;
KR - compartment with a radio station, one-story and two-story;
P - (PL), non-compartment with berths (reserved seat);
O - non-slip with seating (common);
C - (Oblast), interregional with seating, one-story and two-story;
Р - dining car, one-story and two-story;
P - postal;
B - luggage.

The fare consists of the cost of the ticket, the cost of the reserved seat and the commission fee (in some cases).

A reserved seat is a payment for "booking" a seat on the train. V commuter trains the cost of a reserved seat is not charged.

Commission fees are different: for renewal and return; for the purchase of tickets for a certain period before departure (in certain countries). There may also be fees (or, conversely, discounts) for booking tickets on the Internet, fees of the agency where you bought the ticket (if it is not a ticket office of Russian Railways), and some others.

On the service "Yandex. Schedules" you can view train schedules within a number of CIS countries. On this moment, unfortunately, we do not provide timetables for other foreign countries. Train timetables for Europe can be found on the websites of the railways of the countries you are interested in, for example:
Die Bahn. Transport of Germany
SBB. Switzerland transport
SNCF. France transport

Transport sites often not only provide information about trains, but also allow you to calculate the route as a whole, using city buses, commuter trains and even taking into account hiking. :)

In general, to the administration of the railway that owns the train on which you are traveling. If your rights were violated while traveling on a Russian train, you can contact the public reception office of Russian Railways.

If you believe that your rights are being violated in the carriage by the conductor, contact the head of the train, and only then - the administration of the railway forming the train.

In Russia and Ukraine, as a rule, transfer tickets are not sold. Moreover, one ticket office may not sell you tickets for trains, the difference between the arrival and departure times of which is three hours or less.

In reality, the cases may be different. Trains are rarely several hours late, therefore, on the Yandex.Schedules service, we search for routes with transfers (with a minimum transfer time of 1 hour), warning of the passenger's personal responsibility for their decision. It should be remembered that there can be more than one station in a city, and the distance between them can be quite large.

In Europe, as a rule, you can buy tickets with a stopover lasting at least 5 minutes.

No, it is prohibited to use your own bedding sets on the trains for hygiene reasons.

Yes, you are already insured, and information about this is indicated in one of the lines of the ticket. Additional insurance, which is offered in some ticket offices, only increases the amount of insurance payments. Some exceptions are interstate trains, which do not have initial insurance.

The conductor is obliged to fulfill all reasonable requests of the passenger: at least three times a day to provide passengers with tea, coffee, confectionery, and branded trains and "SV" cars of all categories - at the request of passengers at any time of the day; maintain the presence of hot water in the boiler, and chilled water in the water cooler; remove bedding after passengers disembark, etc. According to the guide's instructions, in exceptional cases, with the consent of passengers, it is allowed to remove bedding no earlier than 30 minutes before passengers arrive at the railway station.

In case of disagreement with the actions of the conductor of your carriage, you can contact the head of the train.

As a rule, this situation is most often resolved depending on the specific circumstances. Formally, in accordance with the Rules for the Carriage of Passengers, Baggage and Cargo Luggage, the journey of passengers must start from the station indicated in the travel document (ticket). At the same time, in order to improve the quality of passenger service on trains formed by the Federal Passenger Directorate, passengers are allowed to board at any station after the station of departure indicated on the ticket, subject to the validity of the ticket and payment of travel along the route.

Tickets are refunded upon presentation of documents proving the identity of the passenger. When returning tickets in a domestic Russian message, the passenger is returned:
- if the ticket is returned up to 8 hours before the train departure - the full fare;
- if the ticket is returned from 8 to 2 hours before the train departure - 100% of the ticket cost and 50% of the reserved seat cost;
- if the ticket is returned from 2 hours before the train departure to 12 hours after the departure - 100% of the ticket price.

When returning tickets in interstate traffic:
- if the ticket is returned up to 24 hours before the train departure - the full fare;
- if the ticket is returned from 24 to 6 hours before the train departure - 100% of the ticket cost and 50% of the reserved seat cost;
- if the ticket is returned from 6 hours before the train departure until 3 hours after the departure - 100% of the ticket price.

Commissions and other (except insurance) fees paid when purchasing tickets are not refundable to the passenger. A ticket refund transaction will be charged.

You can already buy a train ticket in Russia and Ukraine without leaving your home and pay for it by credit card on the site. For most trains in Russia, you can select the "Electronic check-in" function and come to boarding only with a document proving your identity (the number of which is indicated on the ticket), as well as a printed itinerary receipt e-ticket(with barcode). Such trains are marked on our service with a special marker.

If electronic registration on the train is not possible, you must definitely get a paper ticket at the station according to the printout of the electronic ticket (or its number) and a document proving your identity.

Ticket sales start 45 days before the train departure date (for some trains - 60 days). However, it is often impossible to buy tickets to peak destinations (for example, in the summer towards the Black Sea) a few hours after the start of sales 45 days in advance.

However, this does not mean that there are no tickets and will not be. It so happens that it is impossible to buy tickets for such trains a month before departure, but you can easily buy tickets one day before departure. The reason is in the numerous bookings that block the access of ordinary passengers to the bulk of the tickets.

The deadlines for removing tickets from booking can vary, often additional carriages are attached to the train, into which tickets are immediately sold. The only thing that can be recommended is to monitor the availability of tickets for the direction you need every day.

The ticket can be reissued to a previously departing train or to another carriage of the train. Reissuance of tickets is made only if less than 24 hours are left before the departure of the train for which the ticket is reissued. When reissuing tickets, the route of the trip cannot be changed (except for the stations of departure or arrival of the train).

A fee is charged for reissuing a ticket. In addition, if the cost of the new ticket exceeds the cost of the old one, the passenger pays the difference in price. If the cost of the new ticket is less than the cost of the old one, then the difference is refunded to the passenger, but only if the ticket was purchased in Russia.

Reissuance of travel documents for another person or for later trains is not performed.

Only tickets from Russia to Russia sold in Russia to the cars of the Russian formation are subject to restoration. The restoration of the lost ticket is made in one of the following places: at the train departure station, at the sale station, at the destination station. With an application for the restoration of the ticket, you need to contact the officer on duty at the station. The passenger must present the document for which the ticket was issued (or a certificate from the police, if a ticket was stolen from him along with his passport), indicate the date of departure (the main requisite for finding information about the ticket, except for the surname) and the route of the trip. The recovery process takes 1-2 hours, so you should contact in advance. A duplicate ticket issued to a passenger is not subject to refund and reissuance. Once a duplicate has been issued, the original ticket is also non-refundable.

From July 1, 2003, for a one-time trip by Russian citizens between the Kaliningrad Region and the rest of the territory of the Russian Federation, a mechanism was introduced to process and issue a special Simplified Railway Travel Document (FRTD).

The FRTD of the railway is issued by railway cashiers, who simultaneously send a request to the consular department of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Moscow. A transit permit is issued while traveling on a train until a passenger crosses the border with the Republic of Lithuania. Before departure, a passenger can receive information about whether he is allowed to transit at the railway ticket offices equipped with the Express system. Registration of FRTD is free of charge. All of the above does not apply to citizens who have a visa to cross the border of the Republic of Lithuania.

The main document for crossing the borders of the Republic of Lithuania and issuing FRTDs is international passport... Such a trip is impossible with an ordinary passport of the Russian Federation. Tickets to the Kaliningrad region and back are sold only at the box office, they are not issued via the Internet (but you can check the cost and availability there).

The carriage of small pets, dogs and birds on trains of all categories is allowed in excess of the established allowance for hand luggage in all carriages (except for carriages with double compartments (SV) and carriages superior comfort) in the presence of a veterinary certificate and payment for carriage.

Small pets, dogs and birds are transported in boxes, baskets, cages, containers, which must be placed in places intended for placing hand luggage.

When transporting small pets, dogs and birds, their owners or accompanying persons must ensure compliance with the sanitary and hygienic regime in the carriage. It is not allowed to transport wild animals as carry-on luggage on trains and wagons of all categories.

Learn more about the rules for transporting animals on trains long distance you can find it on the Russian Railways website.

Passengers have the right to carry with them one child under the age of 5 free of charge, if he does not occupy a separate seat, as well as children aged 5 to 10 with payment in accordance with the fare child ticket... For children over 10 years old, travel documents (tickets) are purchased as for adults. The age of the child is determined on the day of the start of the trip.

For all children, including those under the age of five, you must obtain a ticket (in some cases free of charge) at the railway ticket offices before the start of the trip.

There are no special services when traveling with an organized group of children on Russian Railways trains (with the exception of special children's trains assigned at the request of the regions for organized transportation large groups of children to places of rest).

Important: when traveling on a long-distance train with a child, you must have with you the original of his birth certificate (for children over 14 years old - a passport). Without the original document, the child has the right to be denied boarding the train.

The letter in the train number is an integral part of the number and allows you to distinguish trains with the same number, but following, for example, in different directions. Example: train 102A - direction Moscow-St. Petersburg, train 102M - direction Moscow-Adler, train 102С - Adler-Moscow. It may also be the case that trains with the same numeric number, but with different letters, go in the same direction. This means that there is either one or the other train, and they are somewhat different from each other (for example, by the teams serving them).

Theoretically, the maximum comfort should be created for the passenger in the carriage "with services": food, bed linen, toiletries, cleaning, possibly air conditioning - all this is included in the ticket price. Nevertheless, it is rather difficult to predict in advance what from this list will eventually be “included” in the coupe.

If the passport is on the exchange, then you can buy a ticket for any other identity document, for example, an international passport, military ID, service ID. In the absence of other identity documents, a certificate of the appropriate form should be taken from the police stating that the passport is being exchanged. If a ticket has already been purchased using a passport that is to be changed, then you need to take a certificate from the police that the passport with the specified number has been handed over.

No, this information is not provided to anyone other than law enforcement agencies.

A technical stop is a stop that is included in the train's schedule due to a possible technological need - for example, if you need to skip a faster train or change the locomotive. It is impossible to buy a ticket to and from the technical stops - in some cases, the train can simply pass the technical stop.

In 2006, Russian Railways introduced the division of compartments into “male”, “female” and “mixed” compartments in a number of trains and carriages. Tickets for men's compartments were sold only to men, while tickets for women were sold only to women. Mixed compartments were intended for couples, families with children and passengers who did not seek to "gender" compartments. However, in the course of the experiment, a number of controversial points emerged, and the scale of the introduction of separate coupes was significantly reduced.

In Russia, bicycles on long-distance trains are allowed to be transported at the expense of the established allowance for carry-on baggage disassembled and packed, if, by their size, they can be placed in places intended for placing carry-on baggage. It should also be borne in mind that they are not allowed for carriage. hand luggage things that can damage or contaminate the carriage or the belongings of other passengers.

This is a rather serious question that does not have a definitive answer. The current Regulation on the conduct of television, video, film and photography at infrastructure facilities railway transport common use, owned by JSC "Russian Railways", approved by the order of JSC "Russian Railways»No. 1513r dated July 18, 2008, does not apply to filming intended for personal use and carried out in places of passenger service at railway stations, stations, stopping points, which do not interfere and do not create inconvenience and danger for the movement of passengers. More details on the response of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation on this matter can be found here: part 1, part 2, part 3. Thus, you can take pictures. However, be prepared that not all security personnel may be familiar with this manual and an unpleasant conversation may await you. Also, be sure not to photograph a secret or closed object (again, train stations and trains do not belong to this category).

    We try to arrive at the train station an hour before the train leaves. But this is because the city where we live is big and trains stay at the station for 30 or 40 minutes. The carriages are filled with water, food is loaded into the restaurant, parcels and letters are loaded into the mail cars.

    Therefore, if you arrive half an hour before departure, then the train will already be at the platform, the first passengers have already entered the cars and will have to wait until they pack their suitcases and accommodate themselves.

    Usually we take tickets in advance, we choose the lower seats. If you arrive at the station before the train arrives, you can be among the first to enter the carriage and it will no longer be so that someone has already put their suitcases in the locker under the lower shelf. You will have to ask your fellow travelers to remove them, but you don't want to start a trip with conflicts.

    Once I was reading the rules at the railway station, I was just sitting in front of the stand, it was written there that arrival at the station for passengers in order to avoid being late, there should be in 30-40 minutes.

    I usually do it in an hour, so as not to rush, look around, find an exit to the platform and buy something that I didn't have time to get on the road (this happened more than once).

    If you are going on a foreign trip and you will need to go to the train station and passport control, then it is better to arrive at the railway station an hour before departure.

    If you have a trip within the country (the so-called domestic flight), then you can arrive at the station 25-30 minutes before the train leaves.

    It will be best if you arrive at the railway station in 40 minutes. And no rush.

    I consider it optimal to arrive in 40 minutes.

    1. Security screening at the entrance to the station (in Moscow)
    2. If the station is unfamiliar, it is not immediately possible to navigate where to go (especially at large stations, and from where suburban trains depart)
    3. Trains are very long. You can walk to your carriage for 5-10 minutes
    4. It is better to be one of the first to come to your place in order to calmly decompose .
  • In my opinion, of course, it is better to arrive at the station in an hour, or even an hour and a half, since you still have to go through security checks, and choose a place that you personally like, it is better not to be late, you never know what delays in documents may arise, and you can solve everything in an hour and calmly set off on the road.

    It is important to know the time of arrival of the train and the time when the train stops at the station; it is also necessary to take into account the travel time to railway station(rush hour, traffic jams).

    Before the train arrives, the optimal time of arrival at the railway station is 30 minutes since after arrival, you will have time to show tickets to the conductor, get bed linen (if the trip is long-distance) and calmly sit in your place.

    In order to calmly get into the carriage and take your place without any problems, it is best to arrive in advance, taking into account the possibility of wasting time in traffic jams. We leave the house an hour before the train arrives at the station, although there are only four stops by public transport. Five minutes walk to the stop, if there are no traffic jams, then ten minutes drive. With traffic jams, it sometimes happens longer, up to 25 minutes. But in any case, we get to the station before the train arrives.

    Of course, you can leave later, but suddenly then you have to be nervous and afraid to be late.

    But we sat for a while at the station, heard the announcement on which platform the train was arriving and calmly go out to it.

    A quarter of an hour before departure.

    That is how long it takes to find out which platform the train is leaving from and to get there.

    Usually the train is already ready for boarding, and it will be time to sit down and decompose.

    If the station is large, then it is advisable to arrive there half an hour before the expected departure.

    We always count on arriving at the station 30-40 minutes before departure.

    Much of course depends on how long the train stops.

    In our city, trains take 20-25 minutes.

    Therefore, you need to arrive 5-10 minutes earlier than this time to see which track and platform the train will come to.

    We went on an excursion to small town, So there the train stood for only 3 minutes, we just managed to find the carriage and jump in, we didn't even check the tickets.

    Therefore, there was no point in arriving half an hour in advance. It was possible to arrive 10 minutes before departure.
